Kryos did strike me funny, but I'm not convinced, especially if dude is going after him.

Yay, explanation time. Whew... The Dude, that was one very long drawn out post, and I noticed you made an exemplary stand out in ensuring you had me voted in there twice to show where you stood. Now unfortunately, this may not be the be all end all that I would like it to be, as I am quite certain that anything I say at this point seems to be rather moot, but if you wish to allow yourself to believe me to be on the side of evil, that is fully your prerogative.

 

However, one thing I will not do here is go on and on about being an innocent and whatnot, as that would just not help my case in the least. It would just make me look foolish and more likely to be lying. Even mentioning that right now probably accomplishes almost the same thing, but I have decided to take my chance and at least voice it. Now for a little bit of explaining.

 

Day 1, I voted for Vemy yes. Why did I vote for Vemy on day one? More or less I did it because of his examinations and such of what it would take for the evils to win and such, and how he glossed over what it would take for the innocents to win. As well, he was the only one who adamantly proclaimed himself an innocent. Rule number one, if you want someone to believe you, you don't go on screaming that you are something you are not. The more you shout about it, the more likely you are to not be taken seriously by your own posture you set yourself to.

 

Day 2, I voted for Vemy again because my suspicions were still the same and I wanted to carry through with them. Why did I remove my vote from Vemy? Well honestly, it is quite simple, and I apologize for not explaining it earlier, and I fear now may just be too late. There are 3 werewolves, they only need 1 to kill. If you have one uncovered, why not let him roam and attempt to fish out another? The reasoning behind that is you can always go back and lynch the one uncovered at a later time. That is how I saw it, and that is why I do not wish to see DSage lynched now. It is the exact same concept in all honesty. Why was my vote changed to Dark Justice? More or less it was on a whim, and he hadn't really been overly active before then. Do I have suspicions that would over take picking Dark Justice? Yes, I did, but I did not go with them as I probably should have, but unfortunately hindsight is 20/20, not foresight.

 

Day 3, which would be today. I refrained from voting at all so far because of the fact that I am allowing others to talk through what they wish to see or do. I agree whole heartedly that DSage should not be lynched, for if he is lynched, then you The Dude are a shoe in to be night killed, and right now, the werewolves cannot kill off either you or DSage, or things will just go out of hand for them. Right now everyone is unsure of just who to trust as the finder, and that is causing everyone to reanalyze everything, and to look too deeply into what others have said.

 

Now I have been pretty active most of this game, and it seems that is turning into one of my downfalls. But I will not let it deter me. You can take what I say and believe me to be telling the truth, or you can take what I say and ignore it and lynch me. In all honesty, either way it goes, someone will die. Honestly, it matters not to me whom everyone else thinks should be next, you can choose me if you wish, and I'll accept it, but know you won't like the outcome of such a thing if you did that. It is but a forewarning.

 

The constant reminders of the Loriena and I first arguing on the spot is overplayed as well in my opinion. It is both our first times playing, so starting out, I think it would be expected we would be overly zealous in our banterings. If you paid attention, you would see both her and I mellowed out drastically since then. Is it because of anything special? I don't think it is, it is just us getting our feet wet, nothing more. I'm going to be spending the evening tonight thinking over whom I wish to vote for, and maybe I will put in my vote before I go to bed, but if not, then I'll do it when I get up in the morning if I am even capable of doing so.

 

Now some are going to take this as a guilt trip, and I can in a way see how that is, but I assure you it isn't. All I have for proof though is my word, and unfortunately my word isn't good enough for everyone, which I find to be a shame really, but that is in the way which life swings its eternal pendulum.

 

But right now, I am sitting in a bad position, with all the eyes turned on me, even if I am not lynched, I fear I wouldn't be killed at night either by the werewolves. Why? Because right now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, and that is as a possible scapegoat to be used. I try to be logical about most things I do as well, but I don't think it will work in this instance. Everyone is going by their interpretations of events, and unfortunately, with as stressful as everything is right now, they are going to use their desires over their minds to make decisions for them. But when you decide whom to vote for, be sure to do it with straight thinking, and don't necessarily pick a person because someone else says so.

 

And The Dude, that last bit was not aimed at you either. You have every right to suspect me as does anyone else. If I were you, I'd probably suspect me as well with the way some of the events panned out. But like I said, the vote is yours to do with as you please, though I urge you not to vote for me, I will not argue your choice as it is yours to make.

i've been having suspicions about Raeann myself, i wish someone would take a closer look at that one. i kind of agree with Kryos on the thinking of letting both Dsage and Dude live the night but i don't know. Anyone else want to put in their two cents?

If it's the lack of posts that's making me suspicious, well, I told you my situation. I have had very little time to spend here, unfortunately. Stuff happens. Like today at lunch when I went to the computer room, the Internet was down.

Well, RL intrudes again. I will be in class from 7am to 4pm and if the internet's down again I won't even be able to read and catch up at lunchtime.

 

For the time being I'll [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] DSage because I understand it makes sense to try to find one of the werewolves instead of killing a possible Finder.

 

I'll reevaluate when I get home. If nothing has happened by 5pm CDT, I will be gone again until about 9PM CDT, as I have to ferry Boy Scouts from pt A to pt B.  RL is a real pain at times.  :(

Ok, I'm at a loss again.  Kryos' argument was certainly cogent, but it can be construed as either by an innocent or a werewolf.  Doing another reread won't help me now, and I'm concerned that the day might be going on too long for our esteemed moddess.  I've decided to follow my instincts, such as they are, this time, but I have a couple of people in mind.  I need to figure out which.

 

I'll post my conclusion in a little while.

Kryos, that was a good explanation.  I'm not really fully convinced, but I'm willing to see what the general consensus is.  Analysis isn't my strong point; hunches work better for me.  The fact that my last post there was so long and drawn out goes to show that I don't have much experience in breaking this stuff down.  You are, by the evidence as I see it, the strongest candidate.

 

However, I do have one other nagging suspicion, based more on gut.  I've already mentioned it, but abandoned it in the face of what I found on Kryos.

4) Refers to dude's hunches, when dude in fact voted for Leelou just because of numbers.

5) Other people have voted for Leelou, so that makes her vote for Leelou... Okay. Note that this was before Talya set the deadline, too.

Also I just wanted to say that Kryos is still suspicious to me, just not as much as Loreina is. Why I find him suspicious is mainly because of the fact that first he voted for Vemy, but the he wanted to keep him alive. I know he said why he did it, and I quote:

Loreina didn't consistently pop back up page after page the way Kryos did.  She's still connected to him enough that I suspect her, but Kryos is the stronger case right now.  His reply to my accusation sounded genuine enough, but well, egges and omelettes, y'know?

 

And I've still got one trick in my bag; haven't decided to pull it yet.
