New, but excited 😊

Hi all. I am new to Dragonmount, thanks to my hubby for the introduction to the books and this world. I have loved the books thus far. I am on the last book, but life has too many 🔥's right now, however, I look forward to diving back in and hoping this would spark that. I have ADHD, so this all seems a little overwhelming right now 😬, but I look forward to exploring more 🤩.

Hi there, Prowler!

 

I'm a newbie to DM as well - I started reading the first book Eye of The World during the pandemic era and soon became hooked on RJ's WOT. It's become one of my all time favorite book series.

 

I hope you get the motivation to finish the last book! I found it to be quite a wild ride and overall, I came away satisfied by the conclusion (only sorry to have reached the end of the series!). 

 

Maybe we'll discuss some thoughts on WOT soon. 🙂

Yes I do know someone playing your adventure game. And I'm looking to join that as well based on his love of it so far. Thank you all for the inclusion so far and working to get me added to everything between busy schedules.

Thank you. Audiobooks are great and I have it on there. I love it when I have time to be able to rewind. I'm ADHD and my mind can wander any moment and the audio books are harder to rewind, but I love the narrators on the audio books!

I would love to discuss more. The last book is very intimidating. I have started it, but the audio books said one chapter was a nine hour reading!

He's very invested. He said its the reason why he actually signed up to DM proper. Of course you can join us. We are trying to save the world from the big bad and we've only got 36 hours left to do it.

 

Which will be fine, unless my Skynet starts playing Battleships again lol

I hope you get to explore and enjoy the social and discussion groups here! Every month or so theres a themed site-wide event that takes place in the Tar Valon forum, so even if you pop in every once in a while there will be something on the go. 🙂

It's been great. To be honest I've been an Accepted for quite some time because I have been on and off the website for years, taking it at my own pace. Thats one thing that worked well with my ADHD, even if I took an extended LOA I was always welcome back to continue my path.  🙂

That's great to hear. Right now I am hyperfocused on everything Dragonmount. 😁 But, you know how that goes.
