The Jukebox

Music has played a large part in my life.  It has helped me get lost in different worlds as I read different books, help me loose track of miles driven, help express emotions I may try to hide from feeling, and countless other things.  

 

If I had a jukebox you would be able to play the songs I share in this post.

This is one of the first songs that I remember playing in band.  Our band director at the time was nicknamed Mr. Bebop.  He is a quirky guy and was gifted a TNMT action figure because of his nickname.

 

 A few years after I graduated high school I learned that he was a person of interest in the Jacob Wetterling disappearance.  I had no clue about this while I was his student.  He was innocent of any wrong doing and I'm sure this accusation cause him and his family a lot of unwanted stress and attention.

So one of my favorite middle school and high school groups. 
 

Queen is iconic too! Love Queen, Adam Lambert from American Idol is now the main singer for Queen.

Today I share a song that was shared with me by a really great friend of mine.  I have no doubt in my mind I wouldn't be the person I am today without her friendship.   She has shared a lot of great music with me over the years as well as made some great recommendations for movies and TV shows to watch.
