Seeing as I just died in two mafia games at the same time, I have decided to open up a game of Diplomacy!

 

Anyone interested?

 

Spring 1901 discussion time: 6 days

other discussion time: 3 days

time to write orders: 1 day

retreat orders: 1 day

build/disband orders: 1 day

 

If anyone wants to voluenteer to mod that would be good.

Basically its a game of diplomacy where 7 players fight it out in Europe, which each controls a country.

Sounds very interesting, but hard to start. There'll be a need for a few more example rounds before I can throw myself in it

Well you need around 7 people to play, so I guess you have to start somewhere! I can Mod the first game, so I would encourage people to join up and learn by doing.

Oh what the heck. Count me in as soon as the Mafia game is over. I give it a few months before this is the next thing and Wes is adapting it for Suras  ;)

Wow, this game looks really interesting!

 

I've read through most of it, and there are some things I'm not entirely clear on...but I wouldn't mind giving it a go, so long as I'm not the only one going "huh??!?!" at times. :P

I'ld like to play as well, but I'll be gone from Monday till August 3, without internet. If you find 7 players before, you don't have to wait.

 

And, FDM, I'l go "huh??!?!" often as well. ;)

I actually read the whole .pdf file thoroughly. Sure sounds good.

 

    However how would we keep track what is where? It's not like we have a map to make things easier, or do we have to imagine every army in every province. Go through all the posts of everyone again and again to see which province is empty and which occupied?

Could you put the description of the game, and the fact that you are modding it into the Moderator list thread Ilgross? Its not really needed I suppose, but showing that there ARE other games out there aside from Mafia might get more people to use the list.
