The Roleplay is getting a Refresh!

As the Wheel Turns, no writer will live in a stagnant place long before wanting a change. With some changes in Leadership, so are there updates and changes in the Roleplay as well. In addition to fully returning from the Club Structure (iykyk), All Revolution One writing has been shuffled into the Portal Stone Adventures Archive. All Legacy writing from 20 years of Roleplay has been upgraded into the appropriately named Legacy Saga, and is available for those wishing to have that access.

 While some may enjoy the intricate storylines and character development in RPGs, I find solace in the simple yet exhilarating thrill of high-stakes gameplay offered by Highway Casino. Roleplay is not a game as such, it is like creative writing but where each person writes their own character and develops their character's story arc along with the other people in the story.

 

I am still very new to all this, so I don't have all the nuances down, quite how you work together with other players to write overarching plotlines, but basically each person takes turns writing a piece that will contain what their character is doing - and can discuss what is happening in a thread outside of the story thread if that is needed. 

 

If you sign up, will see far better explanations from people more eloquent than me and also have linked resources, and can see the stories that are being written at the moment, and people's ideas for stories in the future.

We have areas to join in/create stories based in the Wheel of Time universe (and in our version of the world 'after' the books), as well as other areas where you can play any other game you feel could convert ok to text (e.g. forum based D&D).
