There is a lot here, and some things can sometimes be a challenge to find, let's get you started for where you can explore!

 

 

Discord is one of many areas where we have open discussions, live chat, and the occasional shenanigans. 

 

Community Categories

 

We have two categories that break down the different areas of the forums: Community Forums and Community Organizations. The first consists of open, unstructured, discussions that range from games to general media, creative endeavors, and then obviously our Book & TV discussions that we are so well known for.

 

Community Organizations are THEMED groups based on the various organizations you would find in the books with their own structure, their own little mini-community. They are completely self-contained but also just as much part of Dragonmount as a whole. One could even say it's where we started, once upon a time. (Almost.)

 

Who are They? What are they? And how can you join?

 

Shayol Ghul - ACTIVE (8+ Members)

Activity-based group set on taking over DM through subtlety, sophistication, random mayhem, and a 'wicked' sense of humor.

PROMOTIONS - Promotion is gained through points via activities and games.

The Band of the Red Hand - INACTIVE

Join the Band's Campfires to discuss music, travel, and eating out. Sign up to become a hero of the greatest fighting machine in Randland! Carai an Shen an Calhar!

MORE INFO - They are a fun group that likes food, music and occasionally kicking the crap out of each other.

 

The Black Tower - INACTIVE

In the Black Tower, the voices are your friends.

MORE INFO - Another point-earning Group, where you can become Asha'man and choose whether you are part of the Shadow or the Light.

 

The Kin - ACTIVE (3+ Members)

The Kin is focused on friendship and sharing and involves exchanges, discussions, and games, as well as many other fun and exciting monthly activities!

The White Tower & Warders - ACTIVE (30+ Members)

The largest of the groups, and the original core of Dragonmount outside the Book & TV Discussions. There is a long, and very old, history at the White Tower and all are welcome!

SIGN UP & INFO - Read, Post, AND fill out a FORM. Tower access is given through a Badge when both are completed.

 

The Roleplay 

 

Last, but not least, the Roleplay is available to all who are interested. We have 3 different areas, two for those who are new and more interested in trying your hand at writing. We have the Campaign Setting, where you can write and create your own RP setting in any genre and of any size. We only ask that you provide material for your players so that they know where they are going.

 

There is also the Wheel of Time RP, both in New Beginnings and Legacy mode. Legacy contains all the previous RPs, stories, and storylines of 20 years collectively. It's massive and has evolved greatly over time. However, it is also OLD and is no longer accepting new characters. It is a space for older players to return to a time they are more familiar with, with characters they have already established.

 

New Beginnings is a reset of the Wheel of Time world, open to new characters, new plots, and more flexibility in where the story can go. It has no specific set timeline in relation to the books and is new reader/viewer friendly.
