Its true, even if you aren't a huge starwars fan, the thrawn trilogy is really good.

 

The Count of Monte Cristo is also really good, I've read it a couple of times, and have enjoyed it immensly.

i might get flamed for this but i love terry goodkind, yes hes kinda predictable but he has in my opinion great characters. also if you havent started reading George RR Martin you should be shot. and for whoevver said sarah douglass, she was good until about the 4th book when she changed ALL the characters.

I am not, nor have been, a Stephen King fan, but I recommend his Dark Tower series. I just finished reading it last night. It was really quite good.
