And I fully understand why any townie - especially those at F3 and/or Sooh - would be frustrated.  I would argue town outplayed mafia early in the game.  So I'm definitely not without sympathy.  Town got hit by a perfect storm of things, and it hurt them.

I dont had Sooh not tracked you you'd have been lynched before Tripped most likely tho her BFG related posts look bad with hindsight/supposed conf bias.

Yeah, if Sooh tracked anyone else, I think Aquilla was always the next lynch.  Not that I wouldn't have tracked Aquilla had I been tracker.  And I realized very early I objectively looked a lot worse with respect to BFG so if Aquilla was town, I was never winning the spam post battle with Zander.

Bold is probably true - but that's not on me.  This might sound like I'm blaming Sooh (which it is not intended to be, because I fully understand why she chose to target him and why she chose to post the result, and why people would trust it... so Sooh, realize that I am by NO means pointing a finger at her)... imagine if she tracks DPR N2 instead.

Then instead of mislynching him, you guys hammer Aquilla without a second thought and win. GG.  Hell, if Sooh gets shot N1 instead of Darthe, BFG dies D2 and Aquilla likely goes down D3.

Again, none of that is her fault.  She actually played a really good game; she was suspicious of BFG early, and I believe she didn't trust Aquilla.  She used an investigative result on mafia.  But... as I said in the dead thread... it's no different than if he had been a godfather.

Mafia had two power roles, yes.  Two power roles they could not use in conjunction with one another.  Both options had an opportunity to get them in trouble - Krak could stop either NK, and Sooh could catch BFG.  I'm not going to apologize for not making it where the game was always 100 percent mechanically lockable.

You shouldn't.  I wouldn't have suggested ninja if I didn't think it was reasonably balanced.

With the track result I had blinders on irt you Tripped which is my bad but I'm not built to go against confirmed PR...lolololololol

So JK would have stopped the strong man?

BFG was not a strong man.  She was armor piercing.  If she shot the jailkept player, they would die.  If Krak blocked BFG, the kill would fail.  With a strongman, the killer cannot be roleblocked.

Congrats mafia.

Well played town. I get the frustration of losing under these circumstances but y'all played well.

Tripped, you tried <3

JK would have stopped strongman like a RB, but wouldn't have protected anyone from the strongman NK.  Would have protected from a ninja NK.

So if Krak had lived and JKed Darthe, but BFG shot Darthe, Darth still dies.  But if Krak JKed BFG and BFG shoots Darthe, Darth lives.

Good time to answer.

For future reference...I doubt Chris ever uses a mafiascum setup for a closed game. He uh...kind of hates them :p

Interesting game/setup to read. I don't think anyone should be too hard on themselves or Chris. It could have gone a million ways.

Good job everyone.

honestly this is why I wish maj was enabled, cause it allows people to desalt from situations like these quicker.

Yeah but it also gave town the chance to change course if they were so inclined

we as a mafia team got really lucky in regards to roles.

You were lucky with regards to timing/sequencing...Not sure if that's what you mean.

Plus BFG played eod1 like a pro :p

I'm still surprised and impressed she got out of that lynch
