I'm not at liberty to say much right now considering the above speculation. Also I'm at dinner with the family, but I think Kat would be a decent vote today and I can help clear up the Sooh confusion tonight as I mentioned before.

Sorry won't be too active this evening.

@Andrej do you have a link to the epicmafia description you were refering to? I can't find it, though the epicmafia serial killer description is very unique.

AJ, I think you might be on to something, https://epicmafia.com/role/8281 https://epicmafia.com/role/7857

MU description is

Role Description:

The Pacifist may once per game announce a ceasefire during day, cancelling that day's lynch and blocking all kills the following night, essentially guaranteeing no deaths for two consecutive phases.

I think it is more the Epicmafia version, it lines up with BG promissing to investigate someone N2. The question is, do we risk letting BG do it? If the pacifist SK has been defeated can they still kill?

however, what if all the vote restricts are 3rd party sks? Nyn the aggressive SK with multi-vote, Sooh the neutral SK can only vote in first 24h, and BG the passive can only vote no lynch?

This is the first theory you've dropped that I actually like haha

I dunno symmetry often undermines balance but if two check out I'd be willing to test the third.

I actually hadn't clicked the Epicmafia link before I posted the MU one uh

wow there is actually a standard role somewhere in the universe that can only vote No Lynch

Need to look back at exact wording of the mid-day reveal yesterday

In the EM description is says the Pacifist can only vote No Lynch. It also says they can visit one person and turn them into a Pacifist. They win once they outnumber everyone else. Doesn’t say anything about whether the ability can be passed or not.

Hippie cultists imo.

I'm expecting each has much more than just vote things and kills. Pacifist most likely had a recruit. That makes a town RB more likely, I think Sooh is the vote manipulator, what better way to cover up that you're manipulating votes than to be unable to move your vote after the 24 hour mark. If theory works out, Nyn is probably a kill redirector, so there would ultimately be 2 kills, but all 3 sks have a say in those kills. Logically Nyn would have been able to cost with a pro-town day action of multi-voting. Sooh would have been able to hide under vote manipulation, but BG would have hid under a teammate also getting stuck with "no lynch" vote. It would have been too obvious a mafia ploy to double up on a "no lynch"

THE PACIFIST SERIAL KILLER HAS BEEN DEFEATED.

CARRY ON.

If BG was this role he's probably town now tbh, possibly with a restriction preventing him from claiming it

under the epic mafia rules for SK though, the SK is also an investigative role, so they can look even more pro-town if they find other sks

my theory is, he tried to recruit an sk, epic mafia rule for sk is un-recruitable.

Like something obviously happened behind the scenes to whoever had this role and no one was removed from the game

Yeah thats my one hang up. But finding the description I did and just the... nature of his No Lynch vote coupled with an announcement of a Pacifist makes me pretty sure he’s the one.

now whether he’s town now or not something else. Mafia psychiatrists also exist and no one has come forward claiming to have turned him.

Cult leader targeting an unrecruitable player doesn't result in the mod announcing that a Serial Killer has been "defeated".  It just results in the cult not growing that phase.

it's not a cult though, it's a 1-time recruit. I dunno, that is the weakest point of my theory I think

tbh a town psychiatrist in the absence of anything else is broken

like all the non-towns hard claim non-town and get converted back down the line and we have a warm squishy zero-death game resolution where everybody wins

So yeah it's not as simple as that

I wish we could ISO to look for signals or something.

Would getting turned to a different alignment result in “defeat” though?

I think we just have to roll the dice and see what flips up.

not that I've ever seen. just changes win condition. Only 2 options, he chose a bad target, or someone nullified his recruitment ability meaning he can never get the majority.

@Shad_ I don’t think you’re understanding. Ed 1.0 (Agnarr

Cop) is dead.

I am reborn and brought back from Valhalla. Ed 2.0.

ok I thought you were openly claiming that your character changed, as in whole new role card vs simply being vanillaized

Dont think for a second just because someone is "Defeated" they are now town.

I reference you to WW2 mafia by Basel in the Black Tower. Never trust an alignment swap to town. More often than not they are lying.

Really, how often do you see a non-town turn town? Its 99% of the time the other way around.
