To be honest it's a more of a pet peeve/fun to play with thing but I can't say it like that xD

Ed is a bad example. My guess is he might’ve thought he could ride the claim rather than resolve himself otherwise.

 

It’s one of those universal Mafia “truths” that scum tend to be less active. Whether that’s being AFK, or popping in and out, or progressively becoming less involved as the game plays out, Townies tend to be more invested. I’ve met very few players who could consistently sustain a high profile and activity level as scum from start to finish.

Btw there’s a pretty awesome site that’s hosting a Mafia game that’s currently in sign ups. Star Wars theme. If you’re completely new to the site you’ll have to post like 15 times or something on the other boards before you have access to the Mafia forum but the one game I played there was very competitive and invigorating.

I may not be the best player around, but my activity doesn't depend on whether I'm town or mafia. Only on whether I fall behind at the start or not...

There’s exceptions to every rule but not really this one. The difference in being active and not is more nuanced. If you come in and drop insights and progressive sort of observations that’s different than just generic posts. But generally the players you find consistently camped out in threads are townies. 

 

Fwiw if Kat is scum you look pretty good despite being gone. I’ll wait to confirm her before going after you though.
