@dicetosser1 You can saw humor all you want but you were going for a weak attempt for a reaction. I knew thats what it was. I asked about you W/l cause i'm an A$$. It's not indicative of alignment in anyway.  I didn't have enough of a read on you for just that because at least you were trying. Eldrick went after you though and instead of getting in the way i wanted to see how you responded to his pressure and how he hunts. It wasn't great. So i voted you. You responded with an Omgus. case closed. 

 

@Cass Please don't use meta on me. I have changed a lot since hackers, and significantly from the earliest games. I do believe i phoned in during the hackers game because school was more pressing for me. I will not and never will play the way others expect me to play as a townie. If that gets me lynched, all's fair.

I didn't read it that way. I actually read it incorrectly the first time because he quoted you and so I thought the context of your post was related to his. That didn't make sense, though. 

 

After he explained why he asked, it clicked. He didn't see making the early connection as a viable route to solving. 

 

I'm trying but just not seeing how his response could be how you described. Maybe someone else can.

 

I agree with the point that he hasn't done much, and feel like he's following me onto your train, ergo what I said about if you flip town. But a lot of people haven't done much. Why focus on Amega?

FTR My current take on him is that the miller claim and unclaim out the gate was totally null D1 Darthe. WRT the replies to Eldrick, I didn't see anything there that I haven't seen him do as wolf. He also ignored me. Twice. Annoying but probably also null. But he didn't come out the gate with a cocky flourish of one line whip reads as 'activity' and leave it at that. Need to see where he goes from here.

Cass is doing ok. Glad she's ramping up now, but she's really good at early scumming so not giving too much to that.

 

Not sure how I feel about Amega. To those of you that played with him last game, what do you remember about it? If you were right, how did you notice? If you were wrong, what did you misread?

My read is that you are playing both sides of the eldrick/dice thing at first. Now you are focused on me for my vote on dice but i dont see what exactly it is about me that you think is scummy. I voted dice. Sorry that literally nobody else is bothering to play. If you want to take that as over eager thats fine but the way i saw it i had a choice between dice and eldrick and i watched their interactions. Dice is the one who came off scummy.

Bold - Maybe but he hadn't actually gone anywhere with it yet, still hasn't so IMO it's null/can easily be Dice either way. He posted X-X scum team, and poked other places in between. 

 

Italics - I didn't say I accepted it as humour? I posted a graphic comment on Dice saying there was something to be missed, Amega saying he got humour and you saying you missed it.  I was waiting to see where he went with it, hence the earlier "Dice, game impressions?" post. 

 

Following up, Amega's opening was awkward for me and he's hanging back enough here like in Hackers that I can't pull him out of WTL yet when he gave opinions/vibes straight up last game. I disagree on giving his entry Town points and my impression of your reaction to his entry is that you ran with it/gave it more credit than it should deserve, then pressed Dice and Darthe over him from there, when both of them are also players with histories of early mislynch.

I asked for your reads on other players not named dice/eldrick. If you use meta what do you think of the players who seem unusually quiet right now? Could scum be using the opportunity to lay low? How bout BG he had some posts since this one what are you thoughts on them? How bout Darthe he did as well.

 

Basically dont say im ignoring posts and then act confused when you do the same?

I haven't seen him use terminology like that in either alignment, and don't see how it attributes to 99.999999996% town.

That's the only one I could find too, though to be fair I dont see how she could have a read outside the 3 of us besides Darthe, who she has also covered.

FTR I think of it more as a Dice/Amega, Eldrick thing, and I didn't vote you/focus on you because you voted Dice. You're entitled to vote wherever and at that point Dice was still a possible/unknown? I'm also in the process of figuring you all out, not 'playing' at anything else.

In the first instance it was your entry tone and fluff/hanging back/reserved replies - early game feels different to your last (I recognise this can change, but it's noted anyway).  The fact that your approach changed with your vote after Eldrick voted Dice is another consideration,

 

"I think eld is on to something" ... "Feel better about darthe too" when you hadn't mentioned anything about him previously, ... it reads shallow/possi-sheeping, so idea is let's dig into the specifics to see your thought processes.

 

Then you asking for my thoughts and adding 'feels like you're not solving' when I've literally just given those opinions is a bigger o.O.

 

That's why the focus/vote at that point (and for now).

 

What has the bold got to do with it? Feels like fluff to justify your vote - I've made it clear I have more problems with people hanging back than people being eager, regardless of their alignments, the more info ITT the better.

Fwiw I don't have an issue with Amega's read on darthe. Darthe hadn't really said much to gauge a read on before his back and forth with me (except obviously for the Miller claim bit, but amega didn't interact with that)

 

Reads start somewhere. Him starting having a read from Darthe's first real contribution is perfectly fine in my book. You don't have to be directly involved to like/dislike something.

 

That being said, I'm nodding my head with your other points, so /shrug

Also worth pointing out his read on Darthe was before mine. It felt genuine and not sheeping.

 

His read/vote on dice is more murky.

 

@amegakure Why did you "have to choose between dice/me"? You could have went looking for scum anywhere, but you make it sound like there wasn't even a chance in your mind this was v/v and you had to take a side.
