I hadn't looked at the game since Saturday night (@Cass some of us need to sleep and do RL stuff )

 

I was intending to vote him and then I finishing catching up and what do you know... you just randomly voted him. Hence my this doesn't look suss comment

 

I totally get it's a noob move and looks super bad but that's my vote.

Just the general defensive nature about it. Back pedaling was a good description. The way he went after me about my reply seemed over eager and forced and less reaction test and more caught in a train of thought he couldn't jump out of. The omgus vote. That about sums it up

Ok but I just don't understand the scum motive behind it. Why would scum intentionally go after something small like that to just drop it later? It's not like he had to back out or call it humor.

 

Yes it feels like backpedaling, but is it scummy?

 

Also how was it defensive? There was the semantics thing between the 2 of us, but that's null in retrospect. 

 

The OMGUS was gross, but not out of nowhere. He was already on your case.

Why do scum make any mistakes? I'm not convinced that was really humor. At most bait and what I'm really thinking is it was an excuse to go after me as an easy lynch. 

 

It's not like my comment was panicky or defensive. Yet it was still weird. Ok sure thang. Seemed like he was looking for a reason to suss me either way.  I'll address the rest when I'm hone.

Sorry for being AWOL this weekend. Work has been crazy and I ended up basically sleeping all weekend to recoup.

I'm stuck going round in circles with the 'possi-scummy with content' and 'possi-scummy not present' debate.

At this point I'm struggling to tier the low-posters beyond out-of-game circumstances and it bothers me.

 

Calder - early calls on Rich and Eldrick, game activity comment but no further interaction

Kat - Intro about hating D1, Dice 'his normal self', responds to question, concern about Eldrick, sick
BG - Late entry, fluff, focus on Darthe over Calder, work

Rich - Noob entry, fluff with Dice, early opinions, commented on everything to that point - Eldrick Town vibe (specific reasons when asked), later reversed with pressure/interaction, responds to Calder's comment, fluff, asks for my reads ?no follow up, Vote Calder, 2nd on train ?loltiming, fluff with Dice

 

I'm ok with giving Rich D1 pass for now

 

Calder/Kat/BG are all on the ~ same level.

 

Can't decide whether Calder's calls being earlier than the others makes it more or less likely to be scummy. With the jibe about volume and no follow up, maybe more. 

 

Probably most ok with going here out of those three for the moment, but I hate trying to make calls with so little ITT.
