I know you've called me town early before, I also know in games where I've been absent you've struggled to read me

 

I said in the signup thread that I couldn't camp in thread, that's been true of the past 3 games and I know that I'm not an easy read because people expect me to be

 

But not feeling good about someone isntva reason to feel bad. In matrix I posted maybe 20 times in a 5 day Day 1 and you were null starting to feel bad and did something about it when I was in thread. In Tainted minds Cory was slow to start and you were null reading him for it while being open that you expect more

 

This game feels different (because if I understand your posts you're actively stopping a scum read, but the read is based on stuff that's nai and feels wrong). The timing of your read feels like the lovers game (and the 5 page reference was to that and no I haven't checked that it was 5 pages, but it was early in game) I guess I could say the read lacks thread context but I'm not sure that makes much more sense

 

You reconsidering your read is null because it's coming after I've questioned it

 

If that's what you actually think, you're either ignoring ~everything I've posted over the past day and a half or stuck in a tunnel where you want me to mafia.  I said my kneejerk reaction to your inactivity was feeling bad about you.  I realized that you had stuff going on that could make it unrelated (which you know perfectly well doesn't mean you can't be mafia).  Your activity increased on Saturday and when I finally got around to them, I was feeling a bit better about you.  

 

Then there was the conversation Shad and I had yesterday about how if you're scum, everything you've done was to actively get townread not by being "inherently" townie but by outleveling the two or three people who know you best.

 

Like, when is the last time I actually implied I think you're scum, much less said it?  I've implied you COULD be - because I don't know who is.  There are seven players alive, and I can eliminate two and feel great taking a third off.

@Tiinker ordinarily I'd agree that lynching on Day 1 is important, but lynches don't always give info. Crushers didn't last game, Darthes didn't this game. In a closed setup where there's a potential for things to resolve at night, or for kills to not go through then no lynching can make sense although isn't preferable

I'm a pretty firm believer in clearing out bodies that aren't resolving themselves but I suppose it doesn't matter right now.

Yeah I think that unless it's both of you it's probably not her at this point.

 

And I only say that because maybe I could see BFG in a scum QT saying she's really distracted and she's not ever going to be able to get into this game so let's dance around each other all game and meta people will assume never w/w.

 

But that doesn't weigh in how I think such a performance would play out and honestly I don't have well defined expectations for such a thing, and her behavior has extended to her stance on me too so there's that.

Someone said (BFG maybe?) that it was a good look for Verb that he wasn't concerned about dropping a vote before he left?  I don't remember except that I keep wanting to go back and dig the quote up and remind whoever said it that he did hedge around voting Darthe before he left, see how that impacts the opinion for better or worse.

She actively scumread Cory in Spirited Away and fought giving me a townread as long as she possibly could, though both were far less in your face.  My bigger thing is, if she's mafia, she either lucked into a scenario where she could reasonably justify for "bad reason" post and it ended up being about me OR she posted that with the intention of setting it up as a method to read me.  If that were the case, she was either planning on reading me as town anyway - why make a scene out of it and drag it out like she has? - or she was planning on using it as a starting point to actually push me.

 

And as much as I'd love a legitimate Town!Chris vs Mafia!BFG thunderdome, I'm hesitant to say it's what she'd ever work towards

I just skimmed Spirited Away and this game side by side.

 

Biggest thing that strikes me is that in this game she's thinking where in that game she's posting thoughts.

There's not a huge gap, or at least I'm not seeing it, but there have been a number of moments here where she seems to be thinking things through as she types them vs in that game her statements were more neatly packaged.  There's some emotive progression internal to her posts here, fewer ribbons on top.

I get the feeling that much of his later D1 was spent trying to drive a wedge between Sooh and Shad. Like he was trying to prevent town core from forming. I dunno. I need to sleep more tonight stoopid getting up at 4 am

The only thing that struck me somewhat negatively in that was his "sorry I didn't mean to make you second guess yourself post" when his stated reason for pushing the topic was to see if I'd start to hedge

I've been mostly looking at Tiink for the last few minutes
