That's sort of what makes it weird

I'll say it's something I haven't put a lot of thought in, but I wouldn't believe any other vote and I dislike not voting at all

Posted

It just seems... really silly? and I don't get the town motive for it where a wolf could feel more compulsion to put on the appearance of taking some sort of stance at deadline

Posted

I don't like not voting so I'm going to vote to not vote instead of not voting.

There was a reason. I won't claim it's a good one though

I said that. Why do you feel the need to repeat it?

No lynch in this situation is more or less "well, at least I didn't mislynch someone"

Shad, this is what I meant.

Maybe not as clear as you said it :P

Yeah that post was my best guess, but it's really not the same thing

@BFG what's your read on me?

At the moment I don't have one

You've lead as mafia (or truer to say I remember strenuously arguing that you were town in magic because you were leading) both that game and last you said something that pinged me as off early and that hasn't happy this game, that said the 'claim wolf' thing seems overdone and reads oddly.

Gun to head, town? maybe? but I won't have any confidence for a couple of days

Is this the part where I spam the game with music videos or would you rather I shut up?

I guess that's ~ok.  The level of fear I've been seeing towards my slot in this game is atypical, and I suppose being a consensus villager for a while in my last two scum games has something to do with that, but are they really so similar?  Plenty of wolves can say the right things to dodge people's suspicions for a while and it doesn't make their town games any less obvious.  It's why I almost never make it to lylo as scum.  When it gets to crunch time and people start reassessing me the superficiality of it clicks.  (I have to walk all the way back to Friends to point to a DM game I survived in as scum, and that only worked because Sooh and I set ourselves up to both look like scum mates with Tab.  No one really thought I was a villager by the end.)

Point being I expect it to sooner or later click that the level at which I am talking to people really isn't ever sustainable within my scum game.  M:tG was probably my best go at it but you saw how that devolved.

And I don't know that I should really be bothered if it doesn't click, considering it would be fairly easy to just call me a villager and pet me a few times and let me purr into your pocket, but there's the counter line that certain wolves familiar with those games are going to think "ok I read him wrong a couple times so he's going to expect me to be cautious".

Basically it starts to weird me out when players I've clicked well with as v/v in the past can't just look me in the eyes and call me a villager after a few RL days.

Darthe was lynched.

He was:

Colonial Mort - Town Doctor

It is now Night 1. You have until 1200 PST tomorrow to submit your Night Actions or they will be forfeited.

Should I care more than I do?

about what?

Chris? Let's talk and I'll make you my village partner <3

I don't know what we should talk about, but you can pick the topic.

Shad - Just making sure I'm understanding the argument and not missing something.  Your post about all of you four being town is just because the general indifference to your lynch, and not actual reads?  Or did you actually have something for Darthe, Turin, and Tink?

Was there any reason you picked Darthe?

It was purely a wagonomics observation.

Fair enough.  I think it really depends on who the scumteam is, but I at least understand your point.
