Don't like the shade here. If you were trying to get a reaction out of me other than what you received, you could just as easily have said so. Instead, you called my response "unorthodox." How is it unorthodox? You connect unorthodox responses with my mafia game, then anticipate that I will stick with my response (because why wouldn't I?)  and call that scummy too before pretending to back off with a backhanded note that without being awake yet, it looks NAI. This makes the entire exchange that you started with me feel like a set up and puts you into the scum pile for me.

might want to reread that one boo because I never called anything you did scummy.  BFG called something you said villagery; I said, well, not really.

I agree with Verbal here. My initial thought when he started calling us both wolves was, "Whoa, why is he doing this?" and then I figured he must be town with me and wants to see if I freak out in order to be sure that he is town with me, but after you disagreed with my assessment that he gains more as town by that (knowledge of a town!Ben), I started looking at it more from a wolf perspective, and it makes more sense to do it as wolf, both from TWTBAW angle and as ammo to set me up for a mislynch, either early if town gets after me or later if it can be associated with other little things. Then he started sounding more town, which actually is NAI, since if he's town, you would assume that at some point, he's going to look like it, and if he's scum, at some point, he's going to try to blend in.

And this is the townie post that pushed Shad back to null for me. It's too early to tell whether he's producing reads or looking busy, but I think it's a risky play to draw attention to it as a wolf, and he was more cautious than this in the two games I saw him play a wolf.

Reflect on these two points in tandem.

You have posted more than the allowed number of quoted blocks of text

Also it's a nickname of love, Tiink! I only use it because you're cute as a button

Stop this. Stop this at once

Does that mean that "Tinkerbutton" is as off limits as "Tinkerbell?"

Sooh, did you say what your actual read on Turin was atp?

Annoying town.

Same

Hahahaha I didn't know there was a quote limit. Man, I was throwing down with all the responses, too. It took me thirty minutes to read, quote, spoiler tag and reply to everything, then delete a bunch of it and try again to see if it would post this time, plus catch up with all the posts that posted while I was posting. I feel...post toastied. ;unsure:

my strongest scum read is Shad for things discussed earlier in this post, so I'll drop my early vote on him since using it to pressure anyone else would obviously be a plot to pressure them, having already discussed Shad's potential wolf equity despite a null read on him.

Red is weird AF really

Can you elaborate?

Saying "I'm a wolf," which can be played off as a joke or an attempt to get a reaction and read from someone else and offering a way to evaluate one's play as either town or wolf are not the same. The latter carries the greater risk, which made it townier, but your continued push on me is making me think you're scum.

Aside from the fact that we planned this whole thing in advance in our scum QT, I'm not sure where anything I'm doing here is forcing the conclusion that you are a wolf?

My main reasons for early random or joke votes, if they have a reason beyond picking a name from a hat, is to either poke someone who isn't really playing yet and try to get them to generate some content or to see what, if any, reaction the vote causes. Everyone is posting now, and no one would respond to pressure from it in an honest manner because it should be obvious to them that it was designed for such a purpose, having already said that you are my strongest scum lean.

But really Ben

If I'm a villager you just dropped a long post about why I'm your top scum read and that's a golden opportunity to figure you out

If I'm a wolf you just dropped a long post about why I'm your top scum read and ignoring it or OMGUSing on it would look pretty bad, so I'm going to fake an attempt to figure you out

What about it gives you the impression that I'm advocating for your head in a noose right now?

You interpreted two things I've said as "pushes" on you that really weren't, as far as I would define the term.  I would like a better understanding of how you process these things, to determine whether the thought is honest.  You explained yourself in the first case; I would like for you to explain the second.

You said you were going to fake an attempt to figure me out. I'm not wasting my time on fake attempts, even if my contributions to the other mafia game did just come to a sudden and tragic halt.
