2. Nyn appears out of nowhere with a vote on Sooh, pulling some heat off of Marsh.

 

But it's not enough, so...

 

3. SK moves his vote off of Marsh at the last minute - and we have our third.

 

4. I move my vote to ensure there is not a tie, but it's pretty clear what is happening now.

 

And that's that.

 

Scum team is Marsh, Nyn & SK. 

 

Marsh - has been on multiple suspect lists and has played up his "everybody's friend" scum meta. The highlight was him calling me town and defending my case against him. 

 

Nyn - sank low with personal attacks to try and throw me off (we just won a scum sweep together a few games ago, which is why all of the "your game is really slipping" comments made no sense). Then she pops in to preserve Marsh with zero reasoning. An ISO will tell the tale, but she's been after Sooh just like she was after Hally and I don't remember her talking about Marsh much at all, so distancing there. I don't know that she ever acknowledged SK. 

 

SK - started the game with real effort and then relaxed into the background. He brought the effort back, but put it into focusing on trying to talk me out of my case on Rand - which was cute because everybody loves the mediator. He was the first to vote Marsh, but then switched to Sooh at the last minute when it became obvious that Marsh was going to swing. Again, an ISO will tell the tale on his vote for Marsh and why he dropped it for the sudden and unexplained move to Sooh.  

 

It is unusual for the scum team to go all in on covering a player like that, but in this case, they knew that there is one more vig out there and a bad shot wins the game for them, so I guess they got excited thought the risk was worth it. 

 

I kinda doubt that they all got excited and did something this blatant, usually scum is somewhat fine with sacrificing one member of the team.  However, I think the point that resonates with me the most here is Nyn's, which matches with the fact that she's the only one I don't have a town read on.  That vote right after you said you'd be willing to switch to Sooh was sketch af, esp. with no explanation, I don't care if she was pushing Sooh before.  Of couse, that would also implicate Marsh to some extent, and you're right that his style of play is the "likable" one, because that's exactly what its done.  I think order of which I think these guys would be scum are Nyn, Marsh, SK.

 

Just remembered that we should be moving forward under the assumption Marsh is scum, so yeah, I think Nyn is def the top read then.

I dont think i can stress how much i dont care about this game atp. So... concern away. Im not wasting any more of my time on any of this.

 

Honestly Nyn this is just not fair to most of us, or ATE.  Like I understand that passions have arisen in this game with some people, but most players here have tried to make sure that they didn't do anything to contribute to that or make you feel worse or more uncomfortable.  The fact that you're willing to take out that frustration on the entire game sucks, especially if you're town in a situation where we badly need the help.

 

Regardless, i was posting at like past midnight and then i went back to bed. Then I got up and went to this little thing called work so your concern about me not posting for 10 hours is a huge bowl of bs mixed with some wtf and a spoonful of w/e.

And like this is needless, it's not like I also don't have work every day.  It takes like 5 seconds to log on, type in a quick sorry guys, busy at work, things came up, gonna miss DL, and that's it.

How do you know 100% sure that you'd be on the "winning side" with DPR?  Do you have information that clears him completely?

This strikes me as odd, just a quick remark on what he said, subtle agreement, but nothing else.  If DPR's wrong, I know who I'm looking to for my next read, even though I had a town read on you before (which I think was everyone now).

There's a difference between town reading and claiming vig and knowing for sure he's town. You're obviously speaking as if you're town, so you're saying here that you're fine with you being lynched because that would lose town the game.  Then you say with absolute certainty that you don't want to be on the winning side (the winning side that you don't want to be on in this case is town) with DPR, bringing up the question, how do you know DPR is town?

How do you needlessly apply snark to a pretty simple request to either be in the game thread around 10 hours of the span of DL, or let us know you won't be there like Verbal, BFG, LZM, and others have easily done?  Nyn, if you're trying to reduce the tension in the game that has clearly hurt you to some extent and made it an unenjoyable experience, snappy responses like that to people who haven't done it to you doesn't help.  I'm fine going back and forth with the snark with DPR because we were both good with it, but if it really upset you that much, you shouldn't be trying to start it back up.
