Hey, Scruffington?

 

Do you have anyone so far that you find towny? Or scummy? You're not locked in any way to reads you make now, I just want to know a little bit about how you feel about people. Can be one person or all of them.

This is good questioning, I like to see the slots intermingle and blend and connect etc, so sooh interacting with scruff in any way is positive to me.

It feels a little forced to me, but it might just be because she has been so sassy to responding to others and now has a neutering feel in the post above to Scruff xD

 

I would love to get some thoughts from Scruff, so I'm glad for the questions.

For someone playing on a new site having everyone attacking him, it might be good to ask more neutral questions in case he's a villager. Otherwise it's easy to just give up and say whatever to the whole game. It's not his site. We're not his close friends. He's got nothing to lose by peacing out if he's a villager. So what if people he doesn't know doesn't like his play.

 

If he's mafia, well, you'll catch more flies with honey. There's no way a wolf in a poor position from the word go is going to spew anything.

 

Generally the difference in my play is as such:

- People say things to me/about me which sounds like misrepping - claws out

- Assessing people, trying to make them talk in order to form an opinion - sugar and sweet

 

At least that's how I think about it myself, but Cory knows more about how I play than I do myself, so you can ask him.

I tried neutral. I tried explaining to him why I thought he was getting a bad response, and his reaction was to say I was casting shade.

 

It may very well be site clash, but I haven't seen anything towny from him yet.

Why is it surprising that I'm getting town read so easily? I was quickly consensus last game too.

as for scruff, i agree his vote is bad for reasons several others have already given. My question is whats the standard in his community(Assuming hes not from here). In the champs series on MU, there are alot of communities that just do a random vote thing on day 1, so if his community is more like that then i think his initial voting post is null, . If his site isn't one of those day1 random vote metas then he looks really bad.

 

If you could clarify the meta that would be fabulous. I could probably hop on MU and look it up, and i probably will later, but im feeling a bit lazy right now.

Meta this site afaict. Joke voting is fine. It's usually obvious, or explained as such when addressed.

 

Reaction votes are also fine. Both of these are common.

 

Random votes without reason or explanation are uncommon, and are questioned and/or sussed.

Am I the only one who feels like Scruffington is kinda digging themselves a hole here?

 

 

Eldrick was clearly explaining why you have a bandwagon, very logically imo.

 

While you don't have to do anything in this game, it generally look suspicious to pop your head in, say nothing looked important then vote on someone. And now you insinuate you have a reason but you don't care to share? You wonder why you're getting some heat?

 

It's not shade, he clearly explained it.

 

I meant to respond to this earlier, but no you are definitely not the only one. He made it very clear he got bored and stopped reading the thread. He's no made indication that he's gone back to catch up or is going to. That combined with the responses to votes on him being a "Bandwagon" is just irking the hell out of me.

So, I was going back through the sign ups yesterday and noticed that when Scruffington signed up he said in for Cuth. Is Cuth not actually playing then?

I had a blast last game because there was 0 drama.

 

Im gonna tone myself down somewhat, at least early on.

 

Everyone told me to back off and give S/Bop some space so I will for now.
