Ed- I really don't like the whole exchange with Zander where he asks about you being willing to vote DPR, then you vote with a "I think I know where this is going" then the "I thought you knew" or whatever the reply was. I've role claimed being scum and it didn't come off scummier than that. As for your "Tigs, Tigs" comment, sometimes you just have to see the game from different perspectives.

I've explained the interaction in response to DPR. Were you still catching up?

 

Try from the perspective that you're kind of scummy atm. To myself and other players. The comment wasn't JUST "Tigs. Tigs" btw

As for your second part...

 

Zander, well everyone for that matter...what is it that screams scum to you about me? My low posting? Check out my other games...I'm not a high volume poster. To me it is way to easy for scum to piggyback on the ideas of everyone and not have to give an original thought, gives them room to hide. Because I was weary about posting I am town? Can literally no one understand my thought process on that? In THIS game where there are unanswered questions and players! Because on Day 2 I couldn't say one hundred percent without a doubt what way each player went? Because I wouldn't answer your cop/doc/vk question? How it's that question any different from mine in regards to what if any NA's you think should or shouldn't be tried on him? A little hypocritical wouldn't you say? I wasn't asking people to tell me which NAs they had I was asking for advice. And nobody wants to point out thay I'm right except Killa and Seph dared to agree with one of my reads becauae you have seemed me as scum so everyone skims my posts just to see if their name is in it so they can take whatever I say and twist it into your scummy take on me.

 

It's not necessary to post 3000 times a game to be a good player. Quality not quantity. I'm the first to admit that my posts haven't been quality, like I said, seph had the nerve to like my read on Dice and sooh had the nerve to like my read on her....HOW DARE THEY?!?!?

 

My inactivity at the beginning was something that couldnt be helped, I have apologized and that's all I can do. So then I try to start reading people and my dumbself decided to quickly ISO on everyone starting at the top of the players list on OP. Just so happens they were low posters so I was met with scorn for my reads on them and because I was trying to hurry and get something in here to show you all that I was here and I was trying I didn't take the time to go copy and paste the link address to the notepad, type what I thought on that post, comeback for the next post and so on. So then I try to give better reads on the next couple but again I'm not posting 300 posts a day an I'm not engaging in YOUR fishing expedition so I must be scum. Well I'm not.

What were my best reads from the other games? What read did I use to help Lynch you? I done it on you alone.

I could need some help. I´m sure it´s answered later in the thread but what did Ed mean with "comfy" in #716. Was it his town or mafia leans?

Lenlo - I am willing to vote here. There is so much more of people taking about Lenlo than there is of lenlo himself. He has really shallow iso list and spend most of that post re hashing arguments from the start of the thread that everyone has moved past. So not moving the game along at all. There is really nothing here but empty theorizing on TLM, some shallow reads and arguing over the word fear mongering. If any one sees more than that in a nut shell let me know. 

 

More coming just wanting to keep posting so I dont get behind in the thread and have to play catch up if iso on the other two take me longer.

The part I erased on accident was taking about how around this time of the posts I am quoting he was really pushing for people to read tigs catch up posts and also pushing defense for her and asking people why tig over ed. I found that to be strange. He was making a big deal over her posts and it eemed the rest of you were not so impressed and the part asking why tig over ed and how much he wanted people to pick ed and how ed was so much scummier than tig... anyone else see it that way and find it odd?

Ok I get it now. Talking details about a vanilla town game suddenly makes it super serious business.

 

I really in my own mind and thoughts do not see any gd difference between what I said about being vt than anyone else claiming they are vt or town aligned all through the thread. It seems to me the only ones that need to keep secrets are special roles that mafia would want to night kill. 

 

Lesson learned but I still dont see the actual logic in it.  *shrug*

 

 

 

A few reasons why claiming VT with no prompting or real pressure tends to be viewed as scummy/bad. 

 

1. VT is an easy thing to claim. No way to verify it until a flip. 

2. If you are VT, the scum team can start narrowing down who may have a PR. 

3. If you do convince enough people that you're VT, there's a chance scum will kill you to take a "known" townie out.

To me it looks like Ed didn´t write much and got suspected for it (by Seph and others) and then he has mostly talked about how wrong Seph has. 

 

I would like some clarification.

 

Ed - you think Seph is scummy for going after you because of your low posting. But a lot of people have done that. Why focus on Seph?

 

Also - all the stuff about DPR being scummy was just a way to poke at him? So now you think he is scum but not so scummy as you said previously?

 

You liked my post where I said that I tracked TLM, but after that you questioned Seph why he thinks I´m town. Don´t you think I´m town?

 

1. Seph was the most verbal about it and clearly wasn't reading all of my posts/all of my content. 

 

2. I'm still watching him; haven't forgotten. 

 

3. I've had a null-scum lean on you. I'm trying to figure you out and I did like that you tracked TLM, so it moved you away from feeling as scummy. Like, there was enough speculation on TLM and we need some info; I think it was townie to try to get some info.

Thought about if it was a good idea to share this or not but here I go.

 

I´m a one time tracker and I chose to track The Laughing Man yesterday to see what would happen. He didn´t visit anyone. It´s a bit confusing to me since that give us no clue to what he actually does in this game. Or maybe he is just so good at hiding himself and I couldn´t see him? In that case I just wasted my track but I thought I would give it a chance. Maybe someone has seen something during the night that could confirm this later or get to learn something that I can´t. (I´m not saying that you should reveal anything right away though.)

No, I can´t say any that I remember right now. I can tell you that if I´m cop I always view Verbal on N1. :) Take a look in the archive. I´m sure that I have fake claimed several times as mafia but probably only when needed to get out of a lynch. 

 

I don´t assume that there are other trackers. I don´t know what kind of role there is. Maybe a cop viewed me and know that I town and then they can confirm me. Or there might have been a watcher that watched TLM? I have no idea what kind of roles are in this game, maybe someone could gain something from my reveal? Shad has told us to think outside the box. That was what I was trying to do. So far we have no clues about TLM. 

 

 

 

 

One more thing. I feel that Lenlo´s vote on Adam was another "safe" vote after voting TLM. Now he wrote some posts that I thought looked good so I will focus on him when I re-read. Tied to that is DPR. Ed is right about the last game. DPR was mafia with me and he chose a few things to focus on so to look busy and steer the conversation like he wanted. Maybe he is doing it with Lenlo and the TLM talk? I´ve had a town read on DPR so far but I will look at that too. 

 

About as safe as say claiming a N1 peek on the same NPC and saying nothing was seen?!?!!?!?

I iso´d Nyn and I get a good feeling from her. There are not as many good questions as there use to be but it could be because she is working. She seems to notice details though. She defends a lot of stuff that others find scummy and I think it´s good in this case, encourage people to not overthink things. 

 

What I really would love is your take on Seph and DPR. 

 

Can you show me an example of one us these that you liked?  Not disputing it just wanna see type of things youre looking for you to get this read.

 

And do you think this is something she couldnt fake/replicate as Scum!Nyn?

Small things. like she questioned Killa and Adam for their reads on her that seemed not game related. In #740 she questioned Killa about why he treated two inactives in a different way. She saw that you were talking about Tigs when I though you were talking about me etc. 

 

I´m sure she can fool me. Definitely. But right now I will go with town because it looks like town to me. 

 

I can´t talk much about other´s meta but she is very good at finding details and questioning people when she is town. She is also willing to defend people. Don´t know when I saw her as mafia last time. I think she might be avoiding the thread more? Can´t remember. There are few players who´s meta I know enough to use it in games.

I believe Tigs when she says she is busy with other things = I trust her to not to lie about rl. But as you can see, I don´t like that she is on the fence on so many people early. About DPR - yes, again, I can see what went wrong with the pic thing. I was town reading DPR yesterday but I´m not sure where I have him today. I have not have the time to iso him. And I won´t have time to iso anyone else today. I hope I can go through someone else before dl. I feel that someone of Seph - Lenlo - DPR could be mafia. Yesterday I thought it was Lenlo. This is why I´m asking people to give their oppionions on these three.
