i don't care about being cool i care about whether or not you're a villager and from that answer it sounds like you're posturing to potentially lynch me later

I guess it's kinda villagery in that if you're a wolf I have no idea why you think you'll be able to get me lynched, but I have seen crazier things from newer wolves so

idk

I'll sit on it

Heh. I am for sure not clever enough to be playing 4d chess out of the gate. I dont even know how to posture or plan out some one else getting lynched. Plus it seems the crowd does not agree with me anyway. My vote was a gut feeling nothing more. I could easily be wrong.

*with a grin places a whoopie cushion before manbat sits*

(Its pg 13 so I could not really go for mich else.)

understanding monstr is about noting the differences in his attitude in either role.

wolf!monstr feels an obligation to perform for his team so he's capable of spurts of WIM and aggressive feigned villager play (most really familiar with him would label him a "villagery wolf") but there are some observable distinctions. monstr prefers (relatively heavily) being a villager - he has more fun "solving" the game and helping his team than the active deception being mafia requires - but that doesn't stop him from playing hard as a wolf, even if it's a chore for him. his stamina as a wolf is very dependent on his personal energy. but note some things i have noticed about his wolf game

- he has trouble maintaining his playful and scattershot, is generally serious and concise on game-related points

- he is less likely to engage in potential conflicts, being more reactionary in tone

- doesn't do the mental gymnastics that is typical for hyper-observant villagers (reads are more personal and based on personal experience)

- is much calmer and patient

by post #144 you can already see him getting impatient and anxious and feel him nervously spinning his energy. there touches are the kind of thing he forgets to emulate as a wolf. He's been so very much himself so far in a way he hasn't been able to perfectly fake as a wolf. Either he's becoming quickly cognizant of any meta differences and worked explicitly to plug them (and succeeded) or he's a villager. willing to bank pretty heavily it's the latter.

Manbat please stop. I get enough of that book at home.

Cory, what a romantic.

I still haven't read anything from like page 12-30 so i'm missing a lot of the thread (so sorry for asking questions you may have already answered in some way)

if you had to guess one person in the game was town, who would it be and why?

what has been the most memorable thing to occur this game so far for you? what's stuck out in your head?

if you have anything you want to ask me, feel free. just want to get a little glimpse of how you are approaching this weird little game i play

what makes you think Clov ia villagery, seph?

I'm not sure I agree given the gamestate

I actually think seph is ~villagery for this read even though I don't agree with it lelele

just going to expand on this for [transparency purposes]

clov's early-game was basically low energy drop-ins and a "few cares given" type attitude - considering he said he'd have little time / be low effort in signups this isn't really a big surprise. seph found this villagery. i imagined his reasoning for this to be something like - "clov didn't care if his posting draws negative attention (votes without explanations, etc.) which is something he'd probably try to avoid if he were actually a wolf".

i'm not sure that's a valid way to read clov - but that's not really important, what's important is that seph made the read. it's a read wolf!seph doesn't need to make; why defend a villager who will surely defend themselves if they aren't even being villagery in a discernible way? it's a line of thought i see more likely from the way seph thinks as a villager than something he fabricated as a wolf.

it's not momentous, but it was something that stuck out to me personally. there's a lot of good posts from seph (#163, #175, #186)

I thought early that Tress might be a villager for {lolcory} type reasons but her content on pg. 11 - her demeanor in contrast to her interest in the game - really is rubbing me the wrong way.

Yo, this is one of those places where ive skimmed and dont really have much to add but i wamna interact with people so im posting.

Ever had that? I do it all the time.

So im gonna kick it off with a joke. Here goes:

Helen Keller was once handed a cheese grater. She said it was the most agressive book she'd ever read.

Like a pimple before the prom.

As for the joke, I can't say that it's insensitive...

Very nice. 40 points for Slytherin

Ed is most likely town imo

Wait - is that a flash read, a tone read or a soul read? I get them mixed up.

Lol it amuses me how much you despise how I play.

I'm not locking anyone in but I just find it easier to read people d1 with how I do it so nice i have 0 info. So#dealwithit <3

So what's wrong with Shad's D1 read of Sooh?

I like this post from Ed quite a bit I think

^^^^^

What a scum would say, when he was having trouble finding something to say.

[unvote]

[V] darthe [/v]

that awkward moment when you want to give seph a town point for being combatative with darthe but the fact there's six minutes between his rationale and his vote bothers you for some reason
