He kept talking about all the work he'd been doing while doing almost nothing and kept contradicting his reads in blatant ways, plus misremembered his own night action and inadvertently claimed he'd roleblocked someone he'd been town reading at the time. Adamantly stuck to the inaccurate claim when questioned.

I claimed VT which, of course, is the easiest thing to claim because you don't get any counterclaims plus Sooh? sooh viewed me as town. Someone said it was only 50/50 or something is that right?

 

Ed and DPR both claimed VT

Killa claimed a 1 shot doc

Okay so everyone believes killa's claim because they don't think she, even being coached, could've pulled it off and with her showing doubt in her own intelligence everyone is just taking it at face value.

 

From basically the start everyone has said Shad/Cory are town. (me included) but why? I mean the active scum hunting? I dont know myself other than they just "seemed" town.

 

Manbat, another one that everyone is just following your lead like you are confirmed town.

 

Songstress, I honestly haven't thought much about you other than apparently you are right up there with me on the "could be scum, Lynch them or not who cares" list and why?

 

Darth claimed full Doc and more people doubt that than Killa's claim because she's new.

 

Is this really how mafia is now? Just kinda pick and choose who you want to believe because they say you should believe them? I know my style is obviously outdated but I just can't figure out exactly what the new style is!!!

well, basically it came down to the fact that wolves just overpowered suspicious villagers by banding together with other wolves and shoving mislynches down the village's throat

 

so you just stop the mislynches and then the wolves have nowhere to go, no one to push, and nothing to do

if you let every villager just go around doing whatever you get seven wagons and probably a villager gets lynched because competent wolves go "this village has no direction"

the argument against that is "bussing exists" but the fact is ww is a game of prkobability as much as it is a game of perception. most of the time it is gonna be a villager hard lynching a wolf just like most of the time your village reads will be right

 

you play the odds and adjust as the game goes on I mean it's not like it's all that different, really

I'm not trying to deflect from Ed or DPR, I'm not even trying to deflect from myself. I just want someone to explain to me what the process is here. I like to consider myself a person with at least a little common sense but I can find no rhyme or reason in this mess.

 

Someone said Ed's posts have no context yet I can find the same in Killa's posts. Reading through her thoughts on people tells you nothing other than she could Lynch anybody except Shad/Cory. Or "I was thinking something very close to that". All I can truly tell you is that she is suspicious of me.

 

I just don't understand at all what I am missing. All of these puzzle pieces seem to be coming together for all of you and I'm still over here just trying to find a corner piece to start on.

Post #882 - Replies to questions from Clov, states she has nothing in her notes about further comments Monstr has made about Cory and Shad.  Asks Clov to remind her what his current view is on Seph.

Post #884 - States she skimmed Monstr's ISO and doesn't see him making several posts about Cory and Shad, asks Clov to provide examples.

Post #935/936 - Responds to Sooh that she could vote Ed, Seph or Darthe (confuses Seph and Shad again).  Notes she could vote Kronos but it's possible something happened to him.

Post #1017/1018 - Says she would rather vote Ed but doesn't look like he will be lynched, same with Seph.  Switches vote to Darthe.

 

 

 

 

OK, so, not that I considered Shadory a candidate for Niniel's teammate, but her tendency to mix up Shad and Seph is probably something that wouldn't happen if Shad was a teammate.  

 

She does a fair bit of pushing at Monstr, citing her inability to understand him.  It worries me a little that she never listed him as someone she was willing to lynch, though - she specifically said Ed, Seph and Darthe, with Kronos as a potential.  I'm not sure why she spent so much time on him and so much effort to say she couldn't read him but didn't suggest she would vote him.  @Cory - I know you are reading Monstr as town strongly and you have a good feel for Niniel.  Does this make sense to you that she'd approach him this way?

 

We know Seph and Kronos were town, and she put Kronos in a pretty bad situation with that reluctance to vote him to save herself.   She actually did have a vote on Ed, but switched to Darthe before her train took off and surpassed Kronos.   Ed voted Niniel early, and stayed on her - this does jive with Cory's experience of what to expect with Niniel and teammate bussing.  Red flag here.

 

Her vote on Darthe doesn't feel the same, her only mentions of Darthe prior to saying she would vote him were to question his read on Shad/Cory and state she doesn't understand his early reads.  If Ed is her teammate, she put more work into distancing earlier.  Completely aside from Darthe's claim, this doesn't feel like a legit teammate interaction, it feels more like a push toward a townie after she picked up steam as a suspect.

 

DPR was only mentioned in passing with regard to his suspicion of Seph.  She didn't even attempt to comment on his alignment, or justify not having a read by indicating lack of notes (like me and Kronos) or hedging like she did with Killashandra.  

 

She didn't mention Hallia's complete absence at all.  Or comment on Tigraine, who had entered the game and started posting before she replied (#935/936) to Sooh's question about who she thought should be pushed.  If Hally/Tigraine is town, it seems to me she'd make a point of mentioning it.  Seph, Cory and Sooh all mentioned Hally's absence before Tigraine subbed in, and Niniel mentioned every other player in the game in #722.

OK, I did all this and am trying to decide what it means.  I think I can see a Niniel/Ed/?? team - I don't think Monstr belongs in that group (mostly because Cory is so sure of Monstr, and I have seen him explain how to read Monstr a dozen times and while I can't be confident in myself telling the difference, it feels like what he says matches Monstr here).  If she bussed one teammate and not the other, it could be DPR or Tigraine if Tigraine is GF.  But I don't know if I can buy Niniel/Ed/DPR as a team.  

 

And of course someone in this mix has to be the serial killer but I can't even go there right now.

 

I think I want to vote Ed.
