Ironeyes--I checked his role PM  

 

Likely town:

Sooh--I know she's dead but since we didn't get a flip I think it's worth stating that I'm pretty sure she was town.

Ed--Good analysis, strong WIM. Even though I don't necessarily agree with his reads, I see clearly where he's coming from. 

Dice--Tone mostly. 

 

Lean town: 

BFG--Normally one of those people who becomes obv town pretty quickly, but hasn't posted quite enough to get there yet. I'm pretty shaky on this read. 

DPR--I liked his posts during the fight. 

Wifi--Basically just guessing here. She's really hard to read, but I don't sense the kind of nervousness that I felt from her last time she played scum. 

Seph--Vague tone read, as well as reads that make sense to me. I'm shaky on this read as well. 

 

IDK: 

Darthe--Who even knows... I can't read darthe to save my life, which is hilarious since he reads me like an open book. 

Cuth--I liked how he was during the fight, which is why he's up here instead of in the scum catagory. I'm half-and-half on him. 

Tress--Just null for now. 

Crusher--Same as above. 

 

Lean scum: 

Hallia--Where the heck is she? This isn't normal for her at all.

8. Nolder (Wildfire Sedai) - Stop fighting with DPR? Why can't we all be friends? Some of your points are valid (DPR is aggressive and pushy but makes some valid points, namely that you should have read the thread. Or even just skimmed it for cursory details).

9. Zander (The Crusher) - generally townie vibe on some posts, but says "lolololol" too much. I'll have to go grab a quote of a post that seemed to lean hard scum for a bit; meant to ask a question I don't think anyone asked you about.

10. DreadPirateRoberts - Agressive while making some good points, generally trolling. If he flips scum, he was either recruited or the whole recruiting theory comes into question. #WIFOM

11. Dicetosser1. - honestly Null read; I can't recall his posts right now... Dice, you don't stand out.

EoN1: Sooh burned alive. Sort of.

EoD2: Cuth loses.

EoN2: BFG dies. Clov curses site rules for appropriate posts. 10 year olds.

D3 fight: Darthe vs DreadPirateRoberts

EoD3: Darthe loses.

I'd rather not vote Noldy and DPR just because they're the two loudest, most annoying ones atm. Would rather have more input, especially from the quiet people. And I need to reread some things if I can while at work.

 

 

Im not sure if its gonna make any difference like basically to me, its voting them to fight but other then waiting for claims it just like we'd not wait it out and just vote which of the 2 we think is more likely to be Scum.

 

But another issue, if we put inactives in there and they remain inactive, what do we accomplish?!?!?!

 

Basically to me in this spot, we pick the 2 most likely Scum in and then just let them claim say their piece but not wait however long and vote the one we think is Scummiest. 

 

 

It's deadline based, so it doesn't matter if we wait for claims or not.  We can change our vote at any time during the fight.

 

As for claims, DPR has already claimed VT, and Nolder per meta will refuse to claim even if he's town doc about to be lynched because he doesn't believe in it. 

 

 

So wait if it goes to a fight we HAVE to wait for the full allotted time?!?!!?!?

Meh, had a response typed out and got cloud flared.

 

In short, the gambit talk is a waste of time. I like ideas - I'm cool with sharing theories - but pushing them and a player toward a lynch veers into scum territory.

 

I brought up the recruit theory because I've seen it done. I didn't name anyone as a recruit.

 

Between Tress and Zander going back and forth to color in the gambit picture, they're just distracting everyone from actual scumhunting.

 

No violin here - vote who you're going to vote. If everyone is all excited to see me in the ring again, I'll just take it as a compliment. I just think we have more info to gain by putting the spotlight on others.

Try this tinfoil hat on for size: Darthe/Nolder/DPR mafia team, super sized with WIFOM, now with twice the gambit-y goodness.

 

It kinda sheds an interesting light on D3. In fact, I think I could pull quotes for dayyyyys that look fascinating in that light.

 

Tinfoil-y through and through, but I am tempted to toss Nolder in with DPR regardless.

 

I believe your head is in the right place (on top of your neck, where you left it, ldo). Of the rest of the crowd, I would say I am least confident with Seph and Hallia, then Marsh is in the middle of the pack. Ed kinda made it into my "likely town" pile with his obvious move of obviousness.

 

 

I have tinfoil on DPR in the back of my head but ive been stepping on it pretty firmly so it didnt take over. heres the thing. DPR/Darthe scum team i could buy  but im not buying him and nolder. Nolders too sharp in his responses. they feel truly annoyed. That could be cause hes caught could be cause he is town. dunno really. But i DONT think he and DPR are scum together

 

DPR  the reason im stepping on that tinfoil is N1. that was pretty damned towny but i am also aware DPR can do that hence why he is locked in. The recruit thing,,, i dunno. i dont know if its viable, im not real happy he bought it up cause now i keep thinking tof it and i hate recruit games.

That's the mechanic, yep. We have until the deadline to nominate our two fighters, then they have a set number of hours where they are the only two allowed to post and we vote anonymously by PM. We can change votes throughout the phase as we desire... mods will post the number of votes only, until deadline when the final VC with names will be revealed.

OK so I never liked winnie the pooh. Just eeyore and only cause he resembled a horse, was painted in my favorite color and acted how I felt all the time.

Wildfire is straight up backpeddling so hard right now.

I make reads all the time but you are one in less comfortable about until you start doing your thing.

Like I'm more comfortable tone reading other people Than yourself so I will be more cautious with how I go about reading you early on until I'm certain.

I feel like as mafia you could take my trust and easily kill me with it :( lol

I don't recall what the VC was at that point when Darthe voted, to be fair. You may be right.

 

Darthe's push on DPR D3, especially knowing he was going down, makes me curious. At first I took it for a push to lynch a townie who was gathering suspicion, but rereading it to give Nolder the quotes when he didn't seem to get my question about if he thought it was just distancing, it looked a little awkward and ham-fisted for Darthe. More WIFOM I guess. Darthe is going to give me a hangover.

Im back and just finished a read up.

 

Heres everything I see:

 

Tress and seph both look townie to me. Yesterday Tress drew votes for basically nothing and today is the same with seph, its Cuth making a statement and half the thread following because he seems more involved. In particular, I thought seph showed up hard over the last couple of pages though it would have been good to see him respond more to DPR.

 

Which brings me to DPR. He is the bottom of my list rn, reason being that he yesterday mirrored cuth on me, and has continued to do so, along with a few wolfy posts and his reaction to my early joke vote.

 

Cuth himself, ive still got no idea where the red is coming from. We're he not so earnest about it and still spending time in other things id be very sus of him. Its a townie tunnel imo.

 

Rn, im cool with duking it out. I dont think that I want to with seph though. Id rather DPR.

 

 

Oh, and for reads in general,

 

 

Seph - whole package this game

Dice - the aussie is aggressive in the right way and is being weird in the right way, not quiet.

Bfg - strong presence, good questions, no pushiness that ive seen.

Marsh - your soul lays itself bare to me bruh, sorry. On the real though, his recent questions about votes and confusion should be telling.

Ed - I hesitate to put this above cuth, he could prob be lower, bit I think the sooh kill spews him and I dont have much else on him.

Cuth - tinfoil drops him, but he is playing strong.

Tress- dont really have much ti say here, she has been aight, but shouldnt have gained the traction she did yesterday imo.

Crush - whered the bacon king even go? I dont like him being quiet like this

Hally - same as above, she hasnt done anything.

Wifi - hasnt sussed me this game. Thats a big deal, because she does every other game and she hasnt been absent here.

Dpr - dudes a wolf, and there are a bunch of reasons, part mentioned above, but also I'll grab a quote above and mention that the no lynch swap once we found out we all could was telling. Cuth was never gonna die there.

 

Like this is his read list and the 3 people with the most suss are all his top 3 suspects too.....

'Tis why I depicted my tinfoil hat theory as being extra WIFOM and double the gambiting. Other than WiFi town reading DPR, it's been all bussing all the time if those 3 are the team.

Meh. I stated my reason for putting that vote on Hallia and I stand by it. Voting inactives early in the game is a crappy move, but when it starts getting later in the game, they're only hindering it.

 

She posted she'd be catching up but hasn't posted much yet, so I'm still comfy with leaving that there.

 

 

As for Darthe; forgot he even said that, but meh again?

 

 

Also, yeah there's always a fight. And it always will take the whole time.

This is exactly why I have a vote on Hallia. We all are focused on Nolder and DPR because they're the loudest ones and we're not getting thorough input from everyone.
