Well, October wasn’t a complete waste. I did get a Premise with a few commands from a friend to work from. 😄 I’m going urban fantasy with a serial killer romance… ish. Premise: The world has fallen to the apocalypse as the monsters of myth have taken over most densely populated areas. Portland, Oregon has found an unusual stalemate with a large river keeping many of the supernatural creatures from traveling easily back and forth. Paris, a Police Detective with a dark secret and a cigarette habit to hid her scent, stumbles across an unusual and brutal murder of a woman that quickly becomes a string of deaths along one side of the Portland River. Forcing her to work with Edward who is a vampire and a supernatural expert, and Calla a disgraced witch specializing in the occult, they need to find the killer, or killers, before the city’s stalemate brings about another war ground.

I really Really like these!! Thank so you for sharing them, Heavy!!! (Do you have a nickname you prefer?) If we did points I’d give them all to you! I feel so guilty. XD I meant to do some things, i even got a ink toner box with a bunch of stuff… and yet.. i didn’t do one!! *ahhh!!!* I think I just found myself super SUPER disappointed in the paper they sent. It was a simple pad with some art print on it, instead of a nice journal-style book. *sighs* Maybe I’ll doodle some pumpkins and pull all the stops on my pumpkin on Saturday instead.

I did a deep dive for some games that were popular that could be played by anyone, and I came across this one and felt we should give it a go! The way the game works is you can either GIVE or TAKE a point from two characters until only one is standing. As an Example: Aes Sedai - 5 Trolloc - 5 I will GIVE Aes Sedai and TAKE from the Trolloc, changing their points to: Aes Sedai - 6 (+1) Trolloc - 4 (-1) And the last standing from the following list WINS!! Rules: No Double Posting (Someone has to post after you before you can change their points again). You can only GIVE or TAKE from two in a single post. (There is a Bonus to who wins, but that’s a prize told at the end!) When I think of more I’ll post here! I wish more! Past few years I’ve done pumpkin carving with a friend and then with the kids then taking them out. This year I feel rushed with only 1 day off work between now and the 31st to do ‘all the things’. Alas, It’s Halloween costume hunting tomorrow/today, Haircuts and more Halloween costume hunting on Saturday with pumpkin carving with the kids. And then hunting down a fun neighborhood on Tuesday to take the kids out with possibly a wind-down of a movie (Hocus Pocus 2, probably). 🙂 My work is running a costume contest, so I’m tempted to snag a thing or two for myself as well. Though I’m low on ideas. I have a kimono which could be fun with some hair pins or a wig for a few hours.
