  1. What is the fifth emoji? I just see a red shape but highlighting it makes it look like the first one. I was thinking hobbit, but woman walking? Key? Nearly thought Neverending Story, though really that does not conform with a single emoji... Don't know, I'm afraid. Mountain, hole, man, woman walking, mountain, key, dragon. Really says nothing. Hobbit is as good a guess as any that I can think of.
  2. It all depends on how highly you view a town victory. As I explained above, it really doesn't seem like you do.
  3. I grumbled, not crumbled. What Turin says makes sense - I'm not loosening my suspicion of you, but if someone follows my lead and makes an early vote and town votes for town, the three wolves can immediately make the hammer fall before any second thoughts are possible. And it is not just a guaranteed miselimination, but game over so it doesn't matter how obvious it would be.
  4. If RTE is a wolf, that won't happen... hmm, interesting mind games involved there.
  5. Don't disagree - fair enough on the voting. I certainly don't have you at lock clear, and of course, the smallest error now we end up losing. Even if we assume that all three wolves voted for Dice, it would still be so easy to end up voting for the only town given wolves can so easily nudge our aim. UNVOTE grumble grumble.
  6. They have cubic poop, perhaps they build houses for you out of it. Never be able to look a wombat in the eye again after learning that.
  7. RIP Zander. It was a great scene Ithi, a fitting send off for such a noble player. So, a new day, a new person to throw in the airlock. Way I see it - everyone on Dice is sus. If we truly are at a point where we aren't getting a train on a wolf at all we are in trouble. I know I am town, and Zander and Verbal were, makes me tend to believe Gud is as well. So that is 4 players, 3 wolves, in all likelihood. Cairos I am sus of. His quick popping in to vote for Dice gave off ill vibes. Not "OMG who are we going to choose, it's so uncertain, here are my thoughts on catching up however brief" but more like "just read wolf chat, vote Dice, k thx bye". Not a lot to go on, but compared to Turin, "I'm reading the whole thread again, ih8u all especially Zander" is giving me Town vibes. I admit this could be influenced by his Town read of me, but it just seems that the most obvious thing is he is town rather than elaborately play acting. Though that is certainly not impossible. Which leaves RTE and Lenlo, our dyed in the wool wolves. Don't think there can be any doubt about these two really. But I vote for Lenlo first and we'll see how things play out. One of the most convincing things is Lenlo's desire to win - yet he shows no empathy or encouragement for his town "teammates". He shows no frustration or remorse at being intimately involved in the attempts to eliminate Town players including those that succeeded. If we believe his desire to win, we can only see that reflected in his willingness to derail, distract and eliminate Town players for his victory. The alternative of thinking we have had it all wrong all game and randomly picking someone and hoping I don't think is a workable strategy. VOTE LENLO
  8. Is one missing? The first thing I thought of was The Hunger Games, but is the skin tone of the girl important? Wakanda Forever or something? I have not seen that film so don't know if it would fit at all. I can see why you said Brave, but I am not feeling it. No red hair, no bear...
  9. I was walking home, lol. Its 7:45pm here. A little but early even for a fuddy duddy like me. I concur completely with... Hang on I forgot, The Jungle Books. Though, yeah, that one was tough as Australia had two unique animals and their flag. People probably could have guessed it if they knew it was a country but no one got it so not really a big deal.
  10. If I had to I would go for Yellowstone, but if Yosemite pops into your head first for a national park go for that.
  11. I'd say the most famous park. Would that be yellowstone or yosemite? Where did Yogi Bear live again? Or something else, but I think it should be the most archetypal that we go for, but is not an area of my expertise.
  12. I do that, to try and keep some threads on mind (as they won't show as unread any more). Works fine on my phone too, open link in new tab in group. But it has bitten me on the bum as the open tab kept marking new posts as read so I missed a ton content including people asking me if I was there, etc. I think browsers snooze inactive tabs nowadays more efficiently.
  13. The thought process being, piano, I just killed a man, put a gun against his head, devil set aside for me, Queen. Flamenco woman = scaramoush, will you dance the fandango <-- may not be entirely accurate lyrics. Though admittedly the answer just came from trying to see past the emojis.
  14. What the suffering fu... Er, that is a bit confusing. Well not sure you can overthink this or even think about, I'll de-focus my inner eye and make it all fuzzy. My guess is Bohemian Rhapsody. Anyone agree?
  15. Headcanon pronunciation rules. One writer I have read constantly used a word I pronounced as "al-bey", hadn't seen it before (was probably French) but in context it was easy to understand. And funny thing was it meant something like "all be it" and was spelled "albeit". Such a weird coincidence. *sighs*
  16. Same here, in all honestly. My brain just doesn't appear to appear quite work in the same way as most other people's. I've read a lot over my life (don't really read very much any more, I have the attention span of a gnat these days) and the text just has been inserted into my brain any which way. I never know if some cheesy swords and sorcery snark is going to come out or something from Jane Austin or Sir Walter Scott. Learning a second language has not helped anything. Pretty sure my ability to speak English is atrophying a lot quicker than my ability to speak Dutch is improving.
  17. Lol, you must have been disappointed. It sounds more interesting than it is, hehe. Thanks for the compliment, but not sure using weird-ass words is directly equivalent to intelligence *grins*
  18. So time to start the girding of loins and other body parts.
  19. Sorry that was a herculean effort to get the text to turn red for some reason. I meant to add, I agree 🙂
