  1. not killing Rand instantly like it kills others is straight from the books, book 6 iirc immorality????!!!!! πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  2. I think so, and both exactly like the books Rafe said there will be a deleted scene released soon that will add to this
  3. sorry if already given in the next eight pages that I have not yet read, but could you post the source of this - I have not seen it
  4. what makes anyone think rand knows Lanfear killed anyone in Cairhien? does he even know about the fire?
  5. not yet ready to put down everything I want to say, but three points people have raised... did M use it as a weapon? they made a point of showing everyone falling into the sea, and presumably swimming to shore. holing a ship is not attacking people. even in the middle of the ocean could be debated. Re Perrin and Bornhald, the trial in the books denies that berserker rage is a defence, so ends up the same that it is revenge of murder of a friend, only the friend is a wolf. Re the horn not being guarded, that is straight from the books
  6. source? and do you mean considering one ep. not three. so a third of the minutes available? in which case it went up a lot
  7. I wonder how much of this is because of the very vocal and devoted fandom of wot and LOTR, which is (I believe) far greater than of Shannara as someone once said on here, check what mark you get when you take out all the ones and all the fives. that is far more indicative
  8. i liked most of season 1 and I like most of season 2. it is true there is nothing in S2 I dislike as much as bits of s1e7&8. (not the eye of the world itself, I was fine with that and enjoyed it, but the battle with the Trollocs and Agelmar etc I found really upsetting.)
  9. https://winteriscoming.net/2023/10/05/the-wheel-of-time-season-2-got-a-complete-rewrite-after-barney-harris-left/
  10. assumed skipping and possibly the aiel will capture the castle in Falme instead
  11. @lordmatcauthon: this is important for me personally: are the Finn in or out? Rafe: Which Finn are in? from RJ AMA last week. does this mean we def have at least one doorway but no distinction between Snakes and Foxes? or what?
  12. agree with everything you and others have said but still curious what Liandrin meant when she said do you even know where the Amyrlin is
  13. interesting, but not sure that is true. do we know how the dark friend oaths revoke the three oaths? do they not remove them with the oath rod or something? and she could have been a dark friend before that oath anyway
  14. New topic - just saw Unraveling the Pattern's theory that Siuan was Compelled to act as she did in this Ep. What do y'all thinks? not certain how to connect the dots, but we have not had any follow up from Liandrin asking Leane if she even knows where the Amyrlin is. is this all part of the "crippled" Amyrlin? and bringing about the coup, of course
  15. I would argue even M obeying Siuan in Ep7 is only this. not difficult to interpret that oath as obeying her only in respect to... but presumably M didn't think of it like that
  16. From premiere would be lost 54% from e8 more like 70% as things stand so not sure where it came from
  17. https://www.thegreatblight.com/post/all-about-nielsen so the week of the finale had more minutes viewed than these three total but, that includes people watching prev 7 Eps also, and, as SD has pointed out, only counting people who watched in the first two days from its release and still the fourth highest for an original series
  18. https://www.nielsen.com/top-ten/ says 515m min and s1 premiere had 1.16b. so the op has done the maths based on that but presumably many of those who didn't watch s1 until the end wouldn't come back, so better to compare to s1e8
