Saidin. It is more powerful, and I think I would find it easier to control something rather than surrender to it.

In general, books ... Most movie or tv adaptations have been disappointments in my opinion. Except for LoTR, Harry Potter, and the Hunger Games. 

 

 

The Faction Leaders or the Dragon mostly. Asha’man first level and above can award some points per month, but not many. The Faction Leaders (Illian Tear is the Shadow leader, and I am standing in for the Light leader) can award thirty points per month, while there is no limit for the Dragon. You might find it helpful to read this thread here. It is a little outdated (Faction Leaders and who the Dragon is) but overall it should give you the information you need. For example, if you do something helpful like start an interesting game, or help a newbie get around, then that would catch my attention, and I would award you points for helping out. Does that answer all of your questions?

Yes. We do one roll call once a month. The reason we have two this month is because SinisterDeath needed to know who was active in order to make some admin decisions. Normally there is only one. 
 

Go to the Points thread here. This will tell you your total number of points, as well as your rank. Your Faction, you will just have to remember. 
 

Correct on the name, but wrong on the rank. You are a Civilian right now, because you only have 10 points and it takes 30 to become a Soldier. Once you become a Soldier, you can pick a Faction. 
Your roll call should look like this:

Wolf

Civie (or Civilian)

No Faction yet

Once you edit your roll call to look like the above, I will give you the points for the roll call. 
How you get points is explained in the points thread I linked. You get 5 points for answering the roll call and another five for answering the roll call question. Other than that, you can get points by playing games where the rules say you get points for playing, being helpful, and just a good BT member in general. 
 

Umm. No. Explaining something to people who don’t understand is helpful, and would likely earn you points, but not arguing with someone. If you win an argument with someone who is being mean and you stop them from being a jerk, then that would be helpful, and likely earn you points.

This is a special roll call, because Sinister needed to know who was actually here, and who would stick around to help BT. 
 

The reason they were doing that is because it needed to be explained why the roll call was happening, and what the BT situation was.

I think it is a fancy word for modding a game. Just not sure what you’ve modded, or what even counts as modding.

Hmm. I think that would more depend on how many points the person you are asking can give. If you ask the Dragon, then probably a lot. If you ask me or Illian, then not many because I can only give a couple more this month, and Illian is limited as well.

Logain is a good character to use to introduce new viewers to saidin and to the madness, the taint, etc. 

 

I feel like it is a good introduction to the series though. Maybe they will do it at another time though. 
 

He is a good character to introduce the Dragon Reborn and some of the prophecies, but not madness. If Logain goes mad, then they can’t use him at all in the story, and the Aes Sedai would likely just kill him. Since Healing madness only comes about a month or so before the LB, it’s not like they can show Logain going mad, and then have him be perfectly fine.

I think it would just be better to show the prologue. Because if Logain is supposed to, how will LT crying in Rand’s head make any sense or have any impact at all?

Definitely. That was one of the things that really bothered me about LT. He spends so much time weeping for Ilyena, but not a word about his children. Seems weird to me. If they do decide to go with your idea, I am curious as to how they will do the saidin thing.

From what I've read since the casting announcement, the actor has a big following in Europe and probably required a decent cache of coin to sign.  That would mean either 1) a relatively quick and near permanent departure and maximum flame-out potential or 2) an established framework for the character's inclusion in X number of subsequent seasons.  All things considered, I'm really pulling for option 2 and a consistent Logain presence.

True. I just think the show would work better if they showed the actual prologue, rather than making Logain into a knockoff LT, who’s actions will only be used as a way to show the taint. 
 

I think there will be more Logain. Rafe had said that he wanted to expand on Logain’s story, so it is likely. 

Granted. But the new place costs even more. 
 

I wish that the BT had a Dragon.
