Mardi Gras falls on Tuesday, March 5th. So all this week the Warders will be celebrating this annual event, filled with parades, good food and drink, maybe a litte debauchery...

We've got the traditional Parade in all its colorful glory!

Pretty simple.

1 can (13.4 oz) Dulce de Leche

2 Tbsps butter

1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate wafer cookies

3/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

In a large saucepan, combine the dulce de leche and butter and bring to a gentle boil, stirring. Remove from heat and let cool for ten minutes. Add crushed cookies and mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll heaping teaspoons of the mixture into balls, roll in the coconut, and refrigerate until firm. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

I whipped these up today.

Today was a good day. My wife and I took my son out to lunch at his favorite restaurant, then we all did another Escape Room--got out in less than 40 minutes.

All of this was to spend a last family day together, because first thing tomorrow morning he goes to Army Boot Camp.

Looks like # 6 to me.

(Four variable elements to each figure: head shape, arm shape/position, feet shape, and ball shape.

Each figure in each row has one of three options for each of the four elements.

The bottom row's last figure needs to have a square head, bent forward arms, flat feet, and a circular ball.)

Yeah, the Polar Vortex was pretty brutal. We got down into the low 40s F.

Pizza - 1 = 2

Pizza = 3

Cupcake + Ice Cream Cone + Pizza + Donut = 8

1 + Ice Cream Cone + 3 + 1 = 8

Ice Cream Cone = 3

Cupake = 1   Ice Cream Cone = 3   Pizza = 3   Donut = 1
