  1. Ok now that we have all agreed to clear SD through endgame it is time to figure out who Turin's partners are.
  2. I think he said both of those in one of the ones I quoted. Yeah "For whatever reason, I'm a fekking lighting rod in Mafia. Always have been." Dismisses it, doesn't like it, never mind this thing about me it doesn't mean I'm a wolf. Compare that to the first time I found him saying that this game He WANTS it! He's ready for it! Dude is actually sketched out by Darthe for not thinking he's a wolf! Like, how villagery is that? Come on. Don't get hung up on people using the same turns of phrase. We all have our own little schticks that we use as either alignment. It's the thought behind it that counts.
  3. I rest my case. If we can force wolves to have to use KP on someone who was easy mislynch bait we gain a very nice early advantage and they have to squirm in their undies and refocus a bit.
  4. Sinister reads in that game: Yo I think this guy's wolfy. Here's a wolfy post he made. See? Wolfy. These other two people are probably town. Sinister reads in this game: hmm I could interpret the post this way or maybe that way or maaaaaaaaybe that way but what if I interpreted it THIS way? bwhahahaa maybe even THIS WAY aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  5. These are just random posts I didn't dig far. He's a man with a plan. He forms his agenda and sticks to it. He expresses minor frustration over the negative attention instead of relishing it. He displays the behavior expected of a villager, takes care to make sure the thread knows where his reads are at and why he thinks what he thinks. Have you seen any of that whatsoever in this game?
  6. I'm going to dive blind into the middle of the other game and quote the first three posts I find and if you cannot sense the profound tonal difference I don't even know what to say
  7. I can't take it we're not lunching this guy I'm putting my foot down we're saving him.
  8. Perhaps I am being obtuse.
  9. Not really. Wolves are way less inclined to make enemies than villagers are.
  10. I generated this just for you bae.
  11. I'll say this about Heavy, if he's a wolf I'm proud of him. He'd be doing it the way I like to see it done. Odds are he's just town but it would be pretty cool if he wasn't.
  12. Tig's wolf equity is pretty high on POE tbh but there is a key difference between our reads.
  13. Speaking of people who haven't wolfed before, call me a sucker for self-meta but I don't expect wolf!Heavy to push targets this directly in his first turn at bat.
  14. Has Gud been a wolf yet outside of that multiball game where practically everyone was a wolf?
  15. Jeez I finally bit the bullet and ctrl+f'd a couple pages of SinisterDeath posts last game starting with the D1 lynch and working backwards. Y'all are nuts if you think he is a wolf here. Completely different game there. He was focused and stuck to his agenda. This game has been an endless flow of unfiltered consciousness.
  16. SD produced 74 mostly long and content-laden game-relevant posts. Tig said hello. That is the difference.
  17. Anyone else saying this I would assume is being sarcastic but coming from you I can't tell lol To be clear Making up elaborate personal reads when you in fact have none and are just going with the flow is what wolfing is. You suggested I might be sheeping people who are doing this. That still means Ithi is probably a villager lol
  18. The people articulating detailed personal reads who are actually not reading her and are actually just going with the flow would be the wolves, mate.
  19. Yeah why should I ignore everyone else's opinions. Like 3/4 of us are villagers and wolves are more likely to call her an obvious villager if it's true than if she's on their team.
  20. Truly I'm flattered but I can assure you I don't read Ithi better than a half dozen people who have played with her many times combined.
  21. Read page 19 I hereby declare Ithi a villager by rule of too many people called her a villager with good reasons for her to not be one. See, I told you I'd solve her indirectly lol Really though that is a position I believe in. Sometimes the thread vibe is just either villagers have good reason to trust this person or else wolves know they're never getting this person mislynched and conceded to clear them and Ithi is very much in that sphere. Dice made his first Dicey post, I need to see more but have no concerns about him yet.
  22. But dead honest I'm just trying to convince myself SD is a wolf because I feel silly being the only person who doesn't if it's really that obvious. It's not working and I still think he's a villager. Feel free to kill him so I can either go I told you so or at least have the comfort of knowing I didn't derail a sure bet lol
  23. I like this and you're my top village read so I'll drop it but man if he's a wolf he's certainly got an unconventional way of playing the slot lol As to Ithi, I dunno, I haven't put much thought into the loss of the coroner but she's definitely the style of player I more often than not wait for flips to start reading. Turin had her as a villager and I think he's going to be above average right or compelled to fake the same so I want to roll with that for now. I'll only worry about w/w if I become convinced Turin's a wolf. My hesitance to take an independent stance on Ithi is rooted in I strongly suspect she can post big and boldly as a wolf too which yields an instinct to wait and see if she's right. I presumably won't get that opportunity in this game, so I dunno, it's day one of Day 1, I'm in no rush to solve her. ??? will happen and things will be more clear later I'm sure. As far as town on town crime, could be? I didn't get distinctly wolf vibes from anyone but berf and that feeling diminished over the course of our conversation. SD could be a wolf whose eccentricities coupled with a bit of exaggeration on the part of his pushers threw me off. My head's been somewhat focused on holding people accountable with the expectation that he'll die but uhhh yeah lack of flips is a bugger isn't it. There's almost always a wolf on the sidelines though. Suspecting a lurker is just standard practice.
