  1. Note that I am not actually spun up on mech so maybe there is dirt on SD i'm missing?
  2. vote: peace didnt put much thought into this yet but between the two nothing over night seems to have implicated SD since where I was at thinking he was town yesterday. Peace has some actual action-based equity
  3. No one paid one lick of impactful attention to Darthe's reads after he called you and berf wolves and got immediately shot in the face. While wolves go for WIFOM plays sure, even that angle makes more sense if you say, kill Ithi when SD is town so everyone doubts my shield on him and thinks we're partners. Leelou is an odd slot for a WIFOM kill because she wasn't very vocal. Darthe and Leelou both dying with berf on their lips is interesting. I was louder against berf but also called peace town all game. Also interesting. Also fits my read that wolves are being led by an older school of players. I hadn't even known Leelou was pushing berf and peace when I said that.
  4. oh yeah peace is also on team old
  5. Unconventional kills. Didn't put my head into what has been claimed but it tells me a couple things. Wolves could have had mechanical insight. Do we know role-wise how viable this is? Or Ithi is a wolf, somewhat improbable to me unless Turin and/or Dice teamed with her because I don't see both being dead wrong on her given they seemed to be well informed meta takes Or wolves are very old school. Long long ago it was Dragonmount tradition to got for the kills that provide the least info. This has been long shown to be suboptimal on average and I only expect it from people of an older DM generation: berf, ed, was SD playing back then? Modern Werewolf would trend to kill me Ithi or Darthe based on engagement level and thread pull. We had the most control over the D1 lynch choices. You kill the loud people you can't control or easily mislynch and let the future tinfoil targets remain to get lynched another day. Specifically like, if SD is a villager why wouldn't you kill me and if SD is a wolf why wouldn't you kill Ithi? Neither of us were remotely within range of consideration for getting lynched, we very vocally disagreed over the main lynch choice, and one of us was bound to get our way the moment the other was removed. So the above three speculations are foremost in my head.
  6. Do we get a nice comfy break for the weekend or is night ending sooner? I didn't see a time. Either way I'll be mostly afk until Monday.
  7. ok pretty sure teph was just hammered gotta drive now glgl
  8. i literally dont care which we kill just get it done I'd switch to heavy but i think vc is wrong and leelous on teph
  9. i think teph at 6 heavy at 5?
  10. I cant rell if the vc is wrong or our formatting UNVOTE
  11. I'm shopping at Walmart I'm not going to get too thinky on this Teph slightly more wolfy but Heavy slightly better wagon Put one of them to six and I'll hammer. I don't care which.
  12. Heavy's got the cleaner wagon hmmm
  13. going to set my alarm for 3:50 in case I'm needed for consolidation As we've established I'm not interested in lynching SD but I'll vote Teph or Heavy if needed
  14. The votes throughout the game don't vanish if we don't achieve majority. Zander went on about this last time I played too when it wasn't even random for the field just tied wagons. A bit of rng in the kill doesn't nullify everyone's votes leading up to it. I have him as my top villager so random.org lynch has an 86% chance of killing someone I'm less confident about. I'm not even advocating for that, I'm just advocating to not lynch SD. Haven't read Turin's case yet and probably won't get a chance to before EoD but I didn't even see anyone tell me I'm wrong, just a generic hesitance to shift gears late into the phase.
  15. If you look at my posts on page 27 I laid out a pretty long argument for why I'm pretty strongly opposed to lynching SD. He's night and day different from his wolf game a week ago. People don't like his play style. We're wasting a day on him.
  16. Between Heavy and SD I'd always vote Heavy, for what it's worth. Actually I would consider not voting over voting SD because I think a random.org lynch has a higher chance of killing a wolf. berf's still my top choice. I doubt Heavy and berf are wolves together but no flips so just kill the wolfy people.
  17. Who else didn't I mention? Leelou still feels fine to me, not in a big way but she's here doing her own thing with no sense of an agenda. It's villagery enough for day 1 we'll see where things go. Turin and Teph reads still pending, will try to look at them closer D2 if we're still alive. Gun to head Teph's town but it's too flimsy to articulate, something in a lack of accommodation, will need to give it a closer look before I can draw a conclusion. Above average chance of a wolf in Tig and Ed but that's just Werewolf 101 not specific things they've said or done in this game. I'll wait and see. I think that's everyone g'night.
  18. Quoting this as a counterpoint because he did yield one batch of reads. I didn't think much of it but it's worth noting that it exists. I don't see him actually engaging on this stuff though. Very armchair about everything but SD. Even SD he never addressed directly despite SD actively posting throughout our back and forth. Play style? Eh maybe but it doesn't sit right with me.
  19. Berf types a lot of words but what does he really say with them? Early posts are just set-up spec I think, possibly a post or two I missed because searching on this site is hard. Page 16 he just talks about Darthe, a confirmed villager. Not hunting wolves. Pages 17 and 18 he coughs up his case on SD. Page 18 gets pretty conspiratorial and dependent on future events that haven't happened yet. We've got some if SD is a wolf he might do x later in the game as justification for calling SD a wolf right now. We've got a deep plot in which SD makes himself look as wolfy as possible intentionally for the purpose of being able to claim that he must be a villager because a wolf would not make himself look wolfy. In the original page 17 take he includes such gotchas as SD said wolves know he is a villager but how does SD know there are no 3p? Ho ho! His other reasons on page 17 are fine and he did do that refers to his notes thing that I illogically like. Page 20 he pops in to defend himself, fine but nothing to contribute on the rest of the field. Page 22 wall is mostly about peace's wanting to be the third vote schtick which is.... not really hunting wolves? Page 25 is mostly commentary on what's happening, again without much alignment-relevant thought. He's extremely content to ride the SD thing. Just can't find any other wolves. But he never tries to find other wolves. Villagers can have strong convictions and villagers can be a bit conspiratorial so I don't want to say his push and focus on SD alone is damning but He seems so very content to ride it out and not worry about the other 12 players, despite being pretty consistently engaged in the game. Vote: berf Let's kill this guy and see what happens. I could be wrong but I don't have any noteworthy second thoughts about it. I'm going to mostly peace out for the rest of this phase and I'm not around much on weekends. Kindly leave my villagers alone for now and for goodness sake don't lynch SinisterDeath.
  20. I stand by my reasons for calling Ithi town. Have I given peace too much of a pass on early good feels? Maybe but this is the early game. That carries up to a point. Dice continues to trend in the right direction. Who we got left?
  21. Heavy is like... every single post over and over again my head goes back to the exact same thought. If he's a wolf he is a real natural at it and given another rand or two with a bit of coaching I'd take him on my mash wolf team any day. It's the sort of situation where if I lost to him here I wouldn't even feel bad I'd be excited about it. And that's like... especially given we're not going to have much in the way of wagonomics in this set-up, I can't lynch that right? It's far more practical to assume he's town because the vast majority of first time wolves don't hit the ground running like this.
  22. I like these posts from Gud, feels authentic Nothing on the level of last time I played with her but that was her first game ever and those are always easy reads
  23. That being said I think Gud's a villager so I'm running low on options.
