I knew it was a joke but it amused me because in 100 player games there's always someone who takes things too far and I've actually seen mod kills handed out for in-thread actions taken prior to the host declaring the start of the session XD

This is like a mash ITA session with an outed wolf. We've got 5 seconds tops to get our actions off, probably less. I think the shot should take priority over the vote because you could vote first and still lose due to other people being slow, whereas if any one wolf is slower than you the shot will go off. HOWEVER lol Dragonmount does not show seconds in time stamps, so there is no way for DPR to know which came first. So uh uh @DPR lol if this is an applicable concern

The showdown will happen because the gunsmith ability is a day action. This is probably part of why wolves outed yesterday. Obviously they were hoping I was symp but it still gave them an advantage. We took the bait and speed hammered, could have won by shooting Peace before hammering Turin.

Ok cool so some of them can vote @SinisterDeath @Leelou @ed2funy @Ithillian Turambar I know Dice is a stump. See post above, check if Darthe disagrees with me below, tldr we need as many people as possible voting Peace the second that day starts.

Scenarios: 3 wolves, we have a gun and shoot Peace, and the game ends, gg 3 wolves, we don't have a gun, eligible voters are all wolves vs me, Gud, Darthe, Ithi, Heavy, and berf, minus whoever wolves kill tonight. 4 wolves, we have a gun and shoot Peace. In this scenario we still all vote Peace, because we don't have time to wait to read the flips. When DPR drops day start we drop Peace votes instantly. Vote first, then check. If Peace is dead and the game hasn't ended, then switch your vote to berf. While this would cause a bit of a delay, Peace will not be able to vote, and I don't think we can afford to not immediately vote Peace because wolves will be ready to go just as they were last day. 4 wolves and we don't have a gun, I mean, lol I don't honestly believe in 4 wolf world anymore though. I think either game ends tonight or it's a split second showdown to vote Peace faster than they can vote us.

Oh dear Did dice, leelou, ed, and sinister all choose tree stump over a vote? Ok that makes it a lot tighter than it would have been otherwise. I assumed most of them chose vote since they weren't posting.

I think you read that backwards Darthe. It confirms Turin will have a vote.

Don't get yourself in trouble by claiming at night. Whoever has a gun should aim it at Peace tho

@HeavyHalfMoonBlade In case you missed it it Siren and bus driver are gone. There does not appear to be anything preventing you from shooting Peace tonight if you have a gun.

@DPR Can Ithi vote on D4? If no, should Teph have been able to vote on D2? I recognize can't say might be the answer.

Assuming Ithi can't vote and wolves kill one of us that still leaves three of me Heavy Gud and Darthe who were all active last time. I wonder what dead village votes are out there.

I don't see anything in the op requiring a delay. So basically pencils ready we have to F5 the crap out of the end of this night phase and get in three votes on Peace before wolves can pile on a villager. We have the advantage now because we know exactly what we need to do and there are more of us. Unless Heavy can shoot Peace tonight and gg

The string of coincidences in this game has been a true thing to behold. First, I dump a very explicit claim to be a wolf. Then, I coincidentally quote two wolves and, as part of the joke, say that they are wolves. Then, I call Peace town for the flimsiest reasons. Yes, I go hard on defending SD, but I conclude with time to find Turin's partners, which was not a joke (he was bugging me) but could have been easily read as a joke masking a claim if you're a wolf already suspecting I am symp. Then, between the three people pushing SD for reasons I said were bad (not Ithi), I vote not wolf Turin, not wolf Peace, but the one non-pack member in the mix, berf. Yes, I vote Teph, but I wait until the last second. In practice I was grocery shopping and busy, but wolves surely would have been thinking I was waiting for any opportunity to vote Heavy instead and it just didn't manifest. Then at the last second I miraculously back off Turin and vote SD. A really dumb mistake I regret, but from their pov, the symp sealing the deal! I even go on to discourage the village from voting right away when D3 starts. In practice, I am bad. In a wolves eyes, I am clearly symp setting up for the win. Would I have bussed that hard? Nah but the only glaring factor was me voting Teph instead of Heavy. Given the mechanics of this game, if you believe there are four wolves, only votes really matter because there is not going to be a late game. Wolves had so many reasons to believe I was their symp, and almost all of them were the cause of dumb random chance lmao When I recount this tale five years from now I will have masterminded every step of it.
