  1. hello! (and I am posting as an ADL of the Gaidin here, not as an Ajah Head)

first off, while we do use these boards, our attention is more focused on www.gaidin.org you might just find more participation there.

second, you need to specify that no thread with trainees can occur till you are an accepted, unless you want punishment from the MoN, and then you need to get approval before you go planning. ;)

third, please remember the timeline if you do love interests. You will be an accepted anywhere from seven to fifteen years, so if you meet them at your first days of acceptedhood, then that means they would be WAY old by the time you are an Aes Sedai. I certainly screwed around with the timeline, and it kicked back. Perhaps making a friend now and a love interest as an aes sedai? That is my suggestion.

fourth, if you are looking for a way to get in the yards, i have two ideas so it is something other than just "going" to the yards. one idea would be perhaps a chore from an aes sedai, of course. another idea is to do training in the yard- weapons training. you have to get approval from the DL of Gaidin and White Tower, but I am certain something can be worked out!

well, I hope this has helped you out a bit (POWER TO THE TOWER GUARDS! DOWN WITH WARDERS! :D ) and just let me know if you decide on weapons training so I can grab someone to approve it

  2. DAMN! Who in the blasted light built those walls so high? They weren't even bloody complete, and they still scared Shaylor close to visiting the Dark One. Add on the fact that she had heard from many villages over the past two days that an army was stationed here, and Shay knew that she was just crazy enough to go there. Derek had better be here, or else she was just going to give up. She had been looking for him for over a year now, visiting different villages and towns and learning many things.

What had she learned about all of this? Her brother was a fool. She actually wasn't that bad with a Gladius. There was a man out there that was now done with the family jewels. She was a good Healer. Men were pathetic. Yeah, that was a good basis on her thoughts from her travels.

The gate began to open and Shay stopped Cuebiyar. Poor thing. Her beautiful snow white mare was so tired of traveling. This would have to be their final stop- at least for a while. A woman came from the gate and called out, asking her business. Well, its just like every other blasted town- stick your head in others' business.

Shay would have been a smart wench, but considering the weapons she could already see were enough to kill her ten times over, she kept her tongue cool and answered politely. "My name is Shaylor, and I am seeking refuge and searching for my brother. I carry only a gladius, which I will hand over, and I am alone."

The woman nodded and smiled, and Shaylor climbed down from her horse. Shifting the hood on her head, she set it down on her shoulders, her blonde curls setting out on the dark red. She even shook out her white dress, trying to get the dust from it. "One moment," she said to the woman as she approached. Pulling up her skirts slightly, she pulled down the breeches she wore under her skirts and got them off, pulling off her riding boots too.

"Blasted skirts are horrible for riding in," she said, folding up the pants and placed them across the saddle. The boots went in a spare bag and she pulled on white slippers that matched her skirts. The woman was now by her side, and Shay nodded her head. "I am from Ghealden. And you are? Oh, and do you want my weapon? I am not really that good at the light blasted thing!"

  3. Mark laughed, and Deneira shot him a quick grin. Kid had a good sense of humor- she liked that in a trainee. Deneira had been up for a good joke all the time, so should her mentee. Mark then walked up to the group and began introductions. "Welcome, everyone, to the race. I'm Mark." Well, certainly a boy of many words. Mark just walked off and went silent, but Deneira didn’t notice anymore. They barely knew each other, and had met him once years ago, when he was a new trainee, so he probably just thought her snobby Tower Guard. Well, he would have to learn she was a lot of fun and accept that.

Thank goodness Sana could keep a conversation going. “Sana. Sana Tahn Sakhr. So, this seems like an interesting bit of training." Of course it was, it was a bloody race through the mud! “At least we don't have a crowd around us to see us disgrace ourselves in the mud." Deneira choked on air, laughing at his poor joke, and secretly hating this course.

â€Alright, alright, time to get this thing going. The rules are this…†And Deneira went through the rules and the basic idea of what would happen. Their referee finally showed up, with some excuse, and Deneira grabbed the thongs, ready to tie them together. “Are you right or left handed?†He waved his right and she tied his left hand to her right, and her right foot to his left. “Ok, step with the inside foot first. I can run pretty fast, but staying together is more important than speed. And don’t underestimate me just because I am a woman- I have sparred with Aran before, and I know he is a force to be reckoned with.†He nodded, and they got on the line.

"Go!" He did as she said and they began running. Mark was pretty fast, but not Deneira’s speed, but she could deal with it. They fought every few steps, but after a while, they got in the groove of things. As they approached the mudpit, Mark tried to pull ahead of her and she sped up. “Keep together!†she yelled at him, holding her lathe out to the side as a balance. What resulted was a mess. He tried to drag her, and she fought against his dragging, and he went down in the mud, Deneira falling on top of him. Pushing up, she leaned back as he stood, furious at her. This was not going to be easy.

  4. This was the last straw. Twentytwo years old and she couldnt even tell that her boyfriend had been cheating on her. They had been dating for over two years, and over these past two years, they had had their ups and downs, their ins and outs, and their battles as well as agreements. She had always known he had a secret, but never had she thought it would be this big. He had given her his innocence, and she had never fallen away from being true to him- not even when they weren't technically a couple. They shared everything and did everything together. She knew he ducked away for a few hours every day, but Deneira was usually teaching, and while he had never confirmed it, she had always assumed that that was what he was doing. But this was... Light, she had to sit down. Trying to sit on their bed, she more fell back and stared at the ceiling, trying to not cry. Shawn was cheating on her.

That had to be it. There was no other explanation. The day before, she had let her trainee off to go enjoy himself, and Deneira followed him. Where did he lead her? The armory. She snuck inside and saw him, talking to some woman. Then they went into her office, and Deneira sat and waited. Ages later, he came out, a big grin on his face, and he looked about to jump out of his clothes. What else could make that grin appear other than having some raunchy affair. Deneira hadnt seen him that happy in ages. Light, he had cheated on her with... Master Thewen! Of all the women in the yard! This just would not do- Deneira had to end it.

He came into the room, and Deneira sat up, whiping the tears from her eyes. He didnt seem to notice as he set his things on the weapons wrack and walked in to try and kiss her. However, she looked away and his kiss went to her wet cheek. He pulled back in surprise and she glared up at him, slowly raising to her feet. He looked in shock at her tears, and she brushed off her cheek again before putting on a straight face.

Tears? Why was she crying? What was wrong? Had something happened while he was out? He had to know. "Dene, what is it? What's happened?".

How could he not know? Was he so ignorant that he had no idea she would eventually find out? Did he honestly think she would be blind for so long. "Shawn, where were you today?" He panicked for a moment- she could tell, and he slowly answered,

Where was he? Oh no, had she found out? Did one of the boys let it slip when they saw her? Hold on there Shawn, maybe she hadn't figure it out yet, tread lightly here. "Where was I? I worked a shift on the wall and then went to the lake for some training." That wasn't enough. He needed to be honest, or at least mostly honest. "And then I went to the armory to talk to the smiths and see what new eapons they'd been working on".

He had just lied to her. She knew he hadnt, he had just all out lied. Oh light, this could not be happening. He would have had a better explanation than this if it wasnt true. She needed to hold onto something, but she couldnt show weakness. She stared him straight in the eyes and could see a secret still there. "And did you talk to a woman?"

"I won't lie to you Dene. Yes, I did talk to a woman. Master Thewen is a woman and I spent some time talking to her about the improved quality I'd noticed in the shop's weaponry lately. I thought there might have been a new Journeyman working with them." There, every word true but still not giving away his secret. But he had given enough that her reaction should tell him whether or not she knew it already.

This was breaking her heart... she felt like she was dieing as she stood there. "We have been together over two years. And in this time, you have had a secret. I thought it was nothing, just some boyhood game or some little training bit that you simply wanted time to yourself. But this... How could you keep something like this from me? If you honestly felt this way about the blasted armory and that... thing inside, you should have told me!" She couldnt keep her anger inside any longer. He had to tell her.

how could she be reacting like this? He had told her countless times how much Uzziel and the lessons he'd taught him at the forge had shaped him into the man he was. He was nothing if not a blacksmith and the son of a blacksmith, no matter who his real parents were. She knew this, he'd told her many times. How could she treat this oh so large part of who he was as though it were nothing. How could she call his life's dream a boyhood game? He wondered if she had any idea how much this was hurting him to hear her speak of things this way. "A game! You call my life a game! I thought you knew me better than that! Maybe I should have told you but I wanted to surprise you with it. You would have found out soon enough, when i was ready to tell you!".

Deneira wanted to slap him. Oh how she wanted to slap him! "It is your life? That..." Deneira could hardly get the words out. "Your LIFE? I thought I was your life! And you would never have told me about it. It is the worst surprise possible- it is going to rip us apart! How could you just toss everything we have together away for a few hours a day for some cheap pleasure. If I wasnt good enough, you should have told me!" He just stared at her, and time stood still. It was a deafening silence, and every heart beat made her die a little more. Finally, he brought out a whisper.

Shawn had his next words chosen before she even started speaking but they left him, along with all the air in his lungs, as the things she said broke past his temper and penetrated his heart. She didn't know the truth, she only thought she did, and what she thought she knew would tear them both apart. He had to fix this. He had to find a way to make it right. Against the volume of their shouting from moments before the silence as he struggled for the right words was almost deafening. He didn't know what to say that wouldn't end up making it worse but he had to try. His words came out in a whisper, "Oh Dene, you are my life. Please hear me and trust me. You are all that matters to me. Whatever you think was happening in the armory you are wrong. I could never dream of cheating on you. That would be no dream, but a nightmare. I couldn't imagine losing you. Please believe me!" By now he was down on his knees, holding her hand and looking up into her beautiful face. she had to believe him, she just had to.

He was on his knees before her, and she knew that she would never let him lie again. The words choked her, but she finally got them out. "We are over." He looked about to cry, and she was crying, but she still grabbed her cloak, another shirt, and her purse from her trunk and grabbed her scimitar as she walked out the door. She had to find an inn or something. She just couldnt stay there.

    Deneira and Shawn

  5. Curled up in his arms, Deneira heard a rumbling. Opening her eyes, she lifted her head from Shawn's chest and heard his laughing. Joining in, they layed there for a few moments as she realised she was just as hungry as he. "Hmm. Sorry Babe but I only brought enough food for lunch. If you're as hungry as I am we should probably head back into town." She nodded her head and jumped up, ready to go eat. "Sounds good to me." Shawn went to take care of the horses while Deneira packed up their things. It took a little while, and the sun was setting, but life just seemed perfect. They were finally ready and Shawn brought over the horse she had been riding. He was even so good as to place her up on the saddle so that she wouldnt have to figure out mounting the blasted thing. Light, she wished she could have a pretty horse, and they could ride together all the time.

They talked a little on the way back, and she just enjoyed his company. Even though there was a distance between them, she could still feel a warmth as if his arms were wrapped around her right then and there. Eventually they got back to the stables and she started heading to the mess hall. However, he grabbed her hand and led her the other direction, into town. She nodded and followed him, waiting to see what surprise he might have up his sleeve. They came to a bathhouse, and immediately, Deneira remembered it. This had been their first date.

As they went inside, Deneira laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging and kissing him. "I can't believe you remembered this old place!" He grinned and whispered some romantic comment that Deneira melting, and she hugged him tighter. "And when I offer myself again, please dont deny it," she whispered seductively. His face turned a slight pink and Deneira kissed it then let go so that he could talk to the owner of the bath house. Light this was a day to remember!

  6. Handle Zie

    Name: Kalush Roan

    Age: 16

    Origin: Tear

Physical Description: Long black hair that when unbound falls to her waist, most of the time it is kept in a braid to keep it out of the way. Crystal blue eyes shine bright when she walks, a joy of life shines form her most of the time. Physically she is very well built, strong and agile for her average build only standing about 5’ 5â€. She has her mothers swords and a basic knowledge of how to use them both since her mother trained her for a short time.

    History:

The boat moved smoothly over the water as Kalush stood there watching the land pass on both sides. The river was long and wide in some places; her job at this point was to make sure they did not run aground when the water was shallower. She seemed to be the only one who could balance on the railing of the ship and thus had a job since the first day that she kept them from running aground. As the river deepened she relaxed and thought back over the last few years trying to make sense of every thing that had happened.

As a child every thing seemed simple, her family lived in a small cabin in the forest where they never seemed to see any one else for weeks at a time. Her father Darlan was a large bear of a man who seemed to have such a soft spot for her mother, there were times when she thought that there was some thing wrong. Neither one of her parents wanted to talk about the past nor why Akira would go in to the forest for hours in the morning. Some times Kalush would ask about how they met and her father would smile and tell her the story. The only thing about it that bothered her was that it seemed like they left parts out or softened them just for her, she hoped that when she was old enough they would tell her the true story. For some reason it was hard for her to believe that her mother had ever been weak or sick, she always seemed so strong and able to do any thing.

Her father would make several trips in to the larger cities to sell the pelts and skins that he collected over a three month time. On one of the tips his horse was spooked by some one running out of the trees and then collapsing on the road. He picked her up and took her home spending a few months nursing her back to health until she was strong enough to move on her own. By this time both of them were both in love and she was born only a few months later.

Her younger years were filled with fun she went hunting and fishing with her mother and father all the time. Her parents taught her how to track and move though the woods so that she could watch the animals that were in the woods. She loved to be out in the woods and grew up as a wild child for the most part. They would spend the evening’s together reading or just enjoying the fire, some night’s mother would slip out for a short time and Kalush wondered where she would go but never was allowed to go. It was not until she was 15 that she slipped out of the cabin and followed her mother to see where it was she would go in the mornings. That day changed a lot of things about her life, her mother had been working with two swords that Kalush did not even know she had. She had looked around a tree and stared at her mother, the only thing that caused her to make a sound was a knife flying though the air and embedding its self in to the tree right next to her face. From that day on she was out there with her mother working though the sword forms and learning the basics.

It was spring time when her life changed again, her mother and her were in one of the villages and she was sent to the bakers to get some bread. On the way back she over heard three men talking about her mother and what she heard scared her. The one word that they said that stuck in her mind the most was Warder, Kalush knew what a warder was because her father had talked about them some. To know that her mother was one and to have these men talking about killing her was very frightening to her.

The rest of the day was a blur, she ran to her mother to tell her at the same time the men called out to her and got her attention. Akira told her to go home and not look back no matter what happened. Since they were in the village her mother did not have her swords or even a knife to defend herself with. Kalush watched in horror as her mother faced the armed men. With a shout from her mom she turned and ran for home, thinking that if she got her father that he could help. By the time she reached home she was out of breath and stood there gasping for several minutes trying to tell her father what had happened. It was even longer still before they were back in the village, but now there was no sign of the men or her mother. They both had asked questions all over the village but no one in the village had seen any thing at all. It took only a short time for Kalush to talk her father in to letting her go to Tar Valon to see what she could learn about her mother and what happened to her.

A shout from behind her pulled her out of her past, they were about to dock in Tar Valon and she needed to get paid as well as gather her things.

Note: Akira is an old GM and is now considered MIA In Character. If she is brought back, she will be under the FL banner due to old age and to avoid conflict. And James forced me to do this, I swear!

  7. The bond finally released on her and Adawyn got ready to fight her again. When was this slut gonna leave her alone? Thankfully, Adawyn was left alone and she watched the whore turn to Rion. "Is that what you want? Some floozy? Or is it just the cheap thrill you want?" Cheap thrill? Light, this woman was gonna get it. Not even starting to take a step, she watched in shock as the woman took Rion's face and rubbed it in her barely-visible busom. "Are you happy now?" The woman almost started crying and stalked off while Adawyn took a step to Rion. Her hand was reaching for his shoulder to try and comfort him, and offer her busom if he needed a cry...

"Do you think my love for you is so meaningless, does it mean so little to you that you think I would throw it away, that I would choose anyone but you?" Love? Rion was facing the slut and Adawyn's jaw dropped. Love? light, these two were bloody insane. She turned, ready to stomp off with Covai behind her, then her ear's perked up. "Maybe now you can feel what I felt when you ran away from me, when you took the love that I held for you and stomped it into the ground when you turned your back and fled!" That was it! That was their weak point! Adawyn could get him away from the slut.

Rion stomped by her and off to some unknown place, and Adawyn dragged Covai back to his room. "I want my own room... NOW"

  8. OOC: continued from http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4663

OOC2: This is NOT for the light of heart. Elizabeth is a very serious character with very real problems, mentally, physically, and psychologically. This passage goes back to her past, where she remembers being raped. I suggest that you not read this if you wish to avoid reading on this subject! (duh!) Ill give you an edited version if you wish, just pop me a PM.

    IC:

Invited into the room, Elizabeth slipped in, her heart racing with every breath and every step. A few beats into the room, she took a look around, seeing the neat desk, the stack of white, books in a corner, and a desk.. a desk that held a knife. Fingers seemed to creep across her skin and she felt them tighten on her neck as her breath quickened. A sharp pain came to her leg, and another on her stomach. Grabbing her tummy with both hands, she could feel the ground under her seem to shake and she felt herself stumble as her thin figure almost landed in the arms of the Mistress of Novices. Her face almost gray, her lips parted as she let her eyes half close. "Child, are you alright?" she heard, and Elizabeth nodded her head. "Don't... touch..." she felt her whole body shake, and her fingers ran to hide in her hair. Gripping past white knuckles, Elizabeth held on as she began shaking and crying.

He couldn't touch her again, he was dead- her eyes opened and she saw him in the mirror. Pulling away from the woman she turned around to see nothing. It wasn’t him, he was dead. Her eyes glanced back at the desk and she saw the knife again before she felt a stab in her back. Screaming, she world around to see a shocked and bewildered Aes Sedai. The pain left her as she stared at the woman, but still she backed up until she was at a bookshelf. Items fell down around her and Elizabeth saw not one, not two, but three of him walking towards her. She screamed with every last bit of her being, the hands closing around her arms. "You won't have me, I won't let you," she screamed as she fought, her hands clawing at the body before her. "Never again!" she yelled, and then felt a hand clamp over her mouth, as if the air was gone from her.

Struggling, Elizabeth thought she saw the end. She felt terror and pain, every lasting scar he had left cutting into her again and again. She was carried, to the light knows where, and held down on a bed. The clothes on her body were ripped from her and Elizabeth fought the bonds, determined to never again be raped by him. She could already feel the pain between her legs as if he was brutally taking her again and she could feel his slimy hands running through her hair, his massive hands running over her breast. She had fought for so long and so hard, losing it all, and he should have been dead. He had to be dead. She closed her eyes one last time and asked for the Light to take her life before enduring another such pain.

OOC: ok, I am going to add in a little side note. I am doing most of this RP by myself. There is a part about to come up where I will need others help, particularly novices and accepted, any sisters that would like to RP Yellows, and a lot of Green Sisters and at least one Green Gaidin or lover, and then two male tower guards. PM me or hipbump me on msn and ill let you in.

OOC2: what exactly happened, you have to wonder. Well, you need to read her bio, because then you will better understand. http://whitetowerdiv.org/YellowAjah/Elizabeth.html will be where you can find her stuff; however, I will explain what just happened. She is having hallucinations of her late husband. She is feeling things from the past and even a gentle calming caress is taken to her tormented body as a grab or punch. The last bit, she is in the infirmary… just read and you will see. Let me know if you have any questions, and ill clear things up

    IC:

Her body seemed to now be wrapped in cool sheets- the change had been immediate. She was afraid to open her eyes for fear of seeing his, but when a cool hand ran through her hair, she opened them slowly to see an Aes Sedai staring down at her, other Aes Sedai around her. "You need to calm down. Just breathe- we won't hurt you. Calm down, and then we can Heal these wounds." Elizabeth looked down to see her clothes in the corner and she tried to relax, her heart no longer racing. What had happened? Where was she? How did she get here? And where had he gone? The Aes Sedai slowly left her until only one remained, the one caressing her hair. "I am going to get you a sleeping potion, it will take me a few minutes. Once we put you to sleep, we will then Heal you." Elizabeth nodded her head and shivered under the sheet, her body aching and her throat sore.

The woman left her there and Elizabeth closed her eyes, trying to relax. "What happened? Who was screaming?" A man. She could hear a man’s voice. Another one piped up. "It sounded like a tortured soul; she even woke up the trainees. Everyone wants to know what was happening!" Elizabeth's eyes opened and she felt the world closing in on her again. Her body was shaking as she heard a woman respond, telling them to not meddle in woman's business. For a moment, she thought that the nightmare would be gone, but the men pushed, looking for an answer. Elizabeth held the sheet tight around her body and she heard his voice… You are mine... Determined to get out before he could find her, she rose from the bed. The sheet tightened around her body as she looked for a way out. She had to escape. She had to run.
