This is a positive post. I think we should definitely be voting. And talking. SD is the one making strange accusations, and spewing WIFOM, and moving goalposts in his attack on Ithi, then waving it off when he catches smoke by saying he had her as town all along? I don't buy it. I think he is mafia again. He dropped the shtick but kept the sketchy behaviour. So far Ithi, Shad, and Leelou are looking town to me. Ithi is being tenacious, and hilarious which I find to be a town tell cause she is relaxed enough to enjoy making the jokes. Shad is doing Shad things. I'm believing what he's saying. Leelou seems to be digging in and I really like that she took issue with people being " woe is us". #teamtakingnotes Most everyone else is null tight now as I haven't had time to reread and make notes myself. Gonna do that in the morning. I have a dentist appointment but it will not be long.

Well I started it with something I think is inherently better for town (with potential exceptions). It's night 0 so there will be loads of things to discuss in the morning. Now, not as much. So you agree that for.mafia to start with certain roles would be unfair? Yes, I always said they could get the roles passed to them. Which would be bad for us as explained earlier. I do think that in general the pro town thing is to have people keep their vote as lunching is a town thing and the more townies voting the better. There may be exceptions, for one if people do get their results even if they die, that could be valuable. If the Coroner gets run up, then there is a big problem.

Wut? You expect the mafia to have started with those roles. I don't think so. They could then hand the role to someone and kill them next night eliminating the role permanently. That would be too powerful imo. If randomly done like that then the game is very swingy, again imo.

@DPR, you do announce the alignment yourself right? It doesn't make sense only the player gets it. Also, since actions are simultaneously resolved do dead players get their results? Like if cop killed do they still get to see their peek?

Dude, do you only speak in WIFOM? It is certainly possible to have roles end up in mafia hands temporarily. I doubt that any historically "town" roles like cop or doc would. That would be a big nerf to town, especially with the game starting at night. That's not how coroner works. The player asks the MOD to reveal a dead players alignment. Then at day start, the MOD reveals that in a statement. Otherwise, you could never trust anyone's alignment. Misinformation like that is why people hate mechanical speculation talk.

True. But as I understand things if you are in possession of a role (say cop) and you die before handing the role off. Then the role is removed. I assume you keep the role until night goes to day. So if killed at night, you would still be cop, so cop removed.

Only any role they were in possession of at their death is revealed I think it would look like this.
