Did we ever see a point where Turin backed off this. I'm on page 31 and he has post after post quoting Verb and Heavy and discussing how they're sounding like teammates. Again, not what I'm looking for but wanted to follow up on it cause Turin makes some good points.

While looking for the stuff I am trying to find, I found this. Was just wondering where Verbal stands in this now...?? Obviously you're back with a different role but any thoughts on how you felt at the time? @dicetosser1 weren't you confident as well about needing to check these folks? Of the 5 votes Marsh had, Rand is the only one now dead and he flipped Doc. So how are we not at all considering the likelihood of scum being at least 1 of these 4? Anyway, back to my hunting. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

As of right now, I feel like I wouldn't vote Dice due to his claim. Honestly, that's about it. Ithi is more of a town lean than not. Key isn't here enough for me to have a read. I know she's made posts but without back and forth interactions, it's difficult for me to get a read I literally forgot Verbal was still alive. I feel like I've had to miss some of his posts (i honestly don't know how because I do indeed try to read it all). As I said before, I find it especially difficult to feel town vibes from anyone that misrepresents stuff and most of you all have done so at one point or another.

It was actually concerning the convo we've all been talking about for 2 days. Us discussing why there was no NK and Turin implying there could've been 3 or something to that effect. Nah. You didn't specifically imply any single person was an idiot lol just that if we couldn't figure out what the Pirate had then woe be our souls and intelligence 🤣 I'm trying right now to find a few examples of the stuff I said in that post. It may not he pretty and it will come off as spammy but I want to show the things I'm talking about so as not to be a hypocrite for calling Heavy out on not doing it. 😁

I had asked about screenshots but idk if that's even allowed and no one answered. I'm almost positive that 90% of y'all just skim and don't read everything that is happening. It takes me so long because I do try to read every word. @Nynaeve Heavy is still top of my list. I’ve explained why. as for the 2nd mafia, idk. I feel as though until I figure this stuff with Turin out that he's (now Ironeyes) is gonna remain pretty high on my sus list because I cannot get any answers. I know everyone is busy but it seems like there are a few people that I actually forget are in the game until they drop in with one or two posts then disappear again. Everyone seems content to let them do that but it's hard to get a read on people that are rarely participating. Although many don't agree with what I post (those that actually do read it) at least i am here participating and trying.

You're forgetting that I'm not the only one that found Rand’s EoD behavior sus. And "details" are what build a case. It sucks that I went hard core after the doc for something. But I still feel like it could've been behavior used to hide scum in. Just because this time it didn't turn out to be true doesn't mean that it changes how the behavior seemed at the time.

I'm not going to sit back and allow myself to get lynched for the sake of conversation. When DPR and Ithi roll back in, I'd like to see if that's their main goal (to start conversation) or if they have reasons for wanting to vote me. Also, ftr, our mod has posted more than once since I tagged him and asked him if the condemner knows their targets name and he hasn't said anything. There is more to this than you all are willing to admit. Because there is a reason Turin had more information than we were given (or lied about the information). And we do still have 2 mafia left. As for Heavy, I'm not going to lie, his putting sus on me for the EoD interaction between me and Rand makes me feel more strongly that he's one of the two remaining. Rand and I hashed that out afterwards so why is he bringing it up now? It has to be because he knows my heads on the chopping block beside of him. I cannot help it, the whole pointing out townie things he has done or constantly throwing it in by "my townie arse" and stuff to that end only confirms that I was right to sus him. We still have time to hash this out and discuss things so I'm not putting the 4th vote on his train just yet.

Because no one has given a plausible reason for this. As for Dice, I know he hasn't been able to provide information to prove his claim because if he is the cop, he's being roleblocked. Atp, without a counterclaim (i don't suggest a counterclaim because of the mafia roleblocker), I don't see how we can afford to lynch him.

I responded to her last post. Not sure how much more I can do to get the discussion going. I find it hard to believe that you aren't more interested in this Turin thing. You're the one that was hot on the trail of Heavy for using the word random even though it wasn't in the same context used by darthe in his clarification. This is about someone providing information NOT provided by the mod.

Fwiw, if the condemner does in fact know the characters name then no, i don't believe Turin/Marsh is the condemner. But we don't know that the condemner does nor do we know if any other role has a use for character names.

My targeting of Turin/Marsh has zero to do with the use of "random." It has to do with the fact that Turin told us that the condemner knows who they are looking for so we shouldn't reveal names. To this very moment, it has not been confirmed nor denied by Darthe. If Darthe told Turin (let's assume he's not the condemner) something about a role that isn't his and that no one else knows...why wouldn't he tell the rest of us? Turin is focused on game mechanics you all say, how did he feel about being in a game where mod gives a player the upper hand? Personally, I don't think Darthe done that. The fact that he hasn't confirmed it for the rest of us says it places it in one of the scenarios i already listed. 1) Turin misunderstood and therefore misrepresented what he was told. 2) He is the condemner (I'm less sure of this one though IF the condemner does know their target because he warned against character revealing) 3) He's scum and has some other reason for not wanting character names revealed so he used a misunderstood role as his chance to drop that out there while looking town. No, I have not forgotten that I am sus on Heavy. Still am. But I felt this was a slip of some form or fashion and we have more than one mafia left. Atp I feel no choice but to be suspicious of Turin/Marsh because there's no way to clear this up without Turin answering whether he misunderstood or us seeing the part of the PM which describes a role in more detail to one player than the rest of us were made aware of. Give me plausible reasons that a mod would do that? If you don't believe he did, give me plausible reasons Turin would say he did?

@Ithillian Turambar maybe Turin assumed the condemner would need to know based on his understanding of the role and therefore warned everyone not to use the character names. I just really don't know and that's what has me so stuck.

They would need to in a lynching scenario i suppose. How could you lead a lynch on someone you don't know. But would they need to for a NK? I wouldn't think so, seems like that would make it too easy.

I wasn't asking Iron to reveal the role PM. Just wondering it the one specifying the part about the condemner knowing the character name. It may be nothing, like I said, but I don't like to assume that something means something when it doesn't say it. Darthes clarification doesn't say that the condemner would know the character... it doesn't say they won't. But Turin said they did. So if one player was given information about a role that is not theirs, then it's something we should all know. The games you played with Turin? Was he scum? Have you ever played with him where he wasn't town? If so, was gameplay different or no? I will go back and get all the quotes by me in reference to my suspicion of Rand if you'd like but it will take awhile. I didn't think it was scummy that Rand saved the unCCd cop. I thought it was weird that immediately afterwards, he denied believing the claim saying something like "nice try" then turned straight around and voted for Marsh. That was 1 thing that made me kinda raise my eyebrows. However, Rand finally did go and explain that part to where it made sense. He said the post saying nice try was in regards to Dice's soft claims....it took him awhile to explain that part but that's what he's referring to about me sussing someone for "saving" the claimed cop. There were other reasons, in addition to that, which caused me to sus him more. Deadline was approaching, he was posting nonstop. One liners. To me this made the whole thing more chaotic. It seemed like anyone getting on to hurry and catch up needed way less spam to wade through. If the claimed cop would've gotten lynched because no one had time to catch it, then Rand would've had a bit of deniability in that he unvoted...wasn't his fault someone else hammered. I also found it sus that he demanded a hard claim when Dice was soft claiming. I've been told now by others that it wasn't so obvious but to me at the time it was. Finally, adding all of those up mixed with the fact that he absolutely could not believe anyone found his actions scummy (and i mean absolutely, he went on about it ceaselessly for days) and i really and truly though he was scum. As I said, I will get all the posts and all the times I've had to clarify my posts due to people saying things like I thought it was sus because he saved the unCCd cop or rand's claim that I was sussing him for being too active. It got old, very fast, and it was more than Rand or Heavy. as much as i would like it to be aa easy as Rand made it look with getting ed to slip up, it isnt. We have to catch moments and nuances and push to see what shakes loose. It may all be completely irrelevant but it stuck out to me when i was reading the stuff about Heavy's supposed slip. Heavy is still up on my list. As I was reading the stuff about his supposed slip, that's when I came across, maybe you, had quoted Turin. While I was reading his quotes, I saw that about the condemner knowing the random character. It pinged right then with Darthes clarification and the addition to the OP. Everyone was making such a big deal out of the fact that Heavy used the word "random" as did the OP but in a different context. So seeing the word "character" in a different context stood out. The moment i saw that, I thought it was a slip of some sort. Nyns question of why would Turin tell us that if he was the condemner and needed to find a specific character, because he went on to say maybe we shouldn't name characters, was a really good point. But it doesn't mean I'm wrong that he isn't town. Maybe he is. Maybe he misunderstood exactly what Darthe meant and paraphrased wrong. Maybe he's mafia and has some other reason to not want people to out their names so he used the uncertainty of the condemner specifics to get that out there while looking like a good little townie....I honestly don't know but there is something not right about it. That why I was trying to get Darthe to clarify if that part is correct or hoped they had forwarded the specific PM that Turin received. With Turin not being here, I can't get the clarification I need to put it to rest in my mind. As for my suspicions of marsh...idk. it's hard for me to move past the sus when i cant find out if Turin just misinterpreted accidentally, if Darthe forgot to give us all the info, or if Turin had reasons to want everyone to believe that the condemner knows the specific character.

Nothing anyone has posted states that the condemner actually knows their targets character....except Turin. Maybe the condemner does, maybe not. But why would Turin be informed that the condemner does when the rest of the group wasn't unless he was the condemner. And why would he lie, if he didn't have ulterior motives? like I said, maybe he just thought thats what it meant but we can't ask him. So I'm hoping to get clarification from either Darthe or at the very least, he sends the same message to Iron to clear it up. If you have read ANYTHING I have said about this or better yet, actually read the original posts by me that he is misrepresenting then you would realize no, it is not a good point. It's being a hypocrite for doing to me EXACTLY what he has accused others of doing to him @HeavyHalfMoonBlade you said something earlier that I meant to respond to before I got sidetracked with this condemner stuff. I'm going to find it now so I can't know exactly what you said and respond to it....you should try it sometime.

I'm not trying to start a wildgoose chase. I just don't feel like Darthe would tell one player something specific without telling everyone unless there is a reason. So either Turin misunderstood or he purposely lied. @keyholder21if no one was talking about it then why did he randomly ask the mod for clarification outside of the group in which he claimed to receive an answer with more information than was provided us?

If something is inconsistent then there has to be a reason unless it was a misunderstanding on Turin's part but he isn't in the game any longer so we can't confirm that. @Ironeyes were you provided with the PM which Darthe sent Turin in response to his questions?

I was investigating DPR claiming Heavy slipped. I noticed that Turin said something about his response from Darthe that isn't in Darthe's clarification. Darthe says the condemner is after a character but did not state one way or another on whether the condemner would know which character. Idk...maybe the condemner doesn't know who they're after. Maybe he had other reasons to not want character names out. But it's still weird to me that he claimed to know something that the mod chose not to share with the class. There has to be a reason. Maybe it's a town reason, idk, I'll unvote because of that possibility but I'd like to somehow get clarification. @Darthe does the condemner know which character they're looking for?

He does. But he does NOT say that the condemner would know which character? And maybe I'm wrong and that Turin/Ironeyes isn't the condemner but scum. We don't know what kind of reads our doc is supposed to get, he's been blocked. Maybe Turin had another reason to not want characters names announced. But he says something that the mod does not.
