There's something messed up with the ISO order. It like takes random posts and then orders them by ascending but separates from day to day. Super frustrating.

Ok. Responding to the response to my post about Tink irt AJ early in the game.

 

It was said that the feel of the post was similar to what else was going on. I disagree. The tone of the posts caught my attention, and that's why I brought it up.

 

I can chalk it up to them knowing each other, as they clearly do, but there was a tone difference.

 

I liked bop's reason for reading me. I can't give him townie points for it by itself because I'm always wary of town reads of me because scum can easily do that to pocket me, but the fact that others have commented positively on his response is a good sign. Slight Nice read for bop

 

 

Sooh not wanting to give a read on shad is sketching me out. She was very open about being able to read him easily last game by how he read her. Why has that changed?

 

 

Still feeling good about shad and adding aj to that list. Nothing concrete for those reads, just feel good tone wise.

Like, the entire basis of me scum reading him last game was him hinging on a read on us. I can't believe you've forgotten that already.

I think it's best if we go ahead and nip this kind of thing in the bud - I won't be playing the way that people recognize or are comfortable with. It's not to be contrary or disruptive - It's because I see no value in it.

I've picked up on that. I agree with the idea of letting you live til lylo if need be. Give you some time for thread presense to try and figure you out.

 

Your actions haven't read as scummy to me as they have to others. Just different. Different isn't bad.

While it makes sense, I'm not happy about the fact that shad was the first one to explain it.

 

And I'm personally not excluding the possibility because of that. It's moot atp because I think shad is town in his own right atp. (Think I'm finally getting a handle on reading him)

It's been bugging me that he townread me because of my post count. Thinking about it, most of the posts I made when he gave that read were fluff posts. The number of posts meant diddly.

 

It really feels like an easy town read on someone. I'm curious why the people that agreed with his read (aj and Sooh I think) did so.

I agree about DPR fwiw. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he turns up naughty or nice as I can see potential for both. Your point about his attitude being beyond alignments was good and probably true so I don't think him being stubborn is really clearing. He's one of those I'm sort of slow rolling on since he's been sort of polarizing so far irt how people are viewing him.

 

If I had to pick a secret wolf it'd probably be Bop.

I take back what I said about sooh's lack of read on shad being weird. He hadn't given a read on her, which is how she bases her read on him. Not having one makes sense.

I think you're sort of misunderstanding the premise of the read. It wasn't based on any of your content as far as I can tell but purely for the fact that you had a third of the game's posts at the time. You're still leading even now. I agree that it's an easy read to make and is a generic tell but for someone playing their first game on a new forum I didn't hate it. And despite your insistence that post count isn't indicative for you, it kind of is. You were the same way in Hackers. Which is why I said it was pretty good for Bop.

 

All that said I get what you're saying about Bop making easy reads which have sort of bugged me a little but that's probably me nit picking and just being paranoid. Like his reverse on Nyn and why. I agreed that the reads looked on par for stuff Nyn makes reads on early (which he wouldn't know) even if I didn't necessarily agree with all of them. But he went from scum reading to town reading because she actually gave reads (which is null) and because she said she was copying them from a QT which wasn't very relevant imo.

 

I thought his sus on DPR was smart too since I was thinking along those lines but he adds factors that I don't really think are that important like saying DPR must be antagonizing Shad on purpose for whatever reason. I'm still hesitant on DPR but I get the idea he could be a villa so that makes me wonder more about Bop. Hence the secret wolf thing.

 

TLDR - we'll see. I think he's made some smart posts but I don't think it would be super impossible for scum to make the same reads.

this post certifies that i, bopolis, have read all the posts since I left and the only changes in feeling are the following:

 

moving the hydra from leaning scum to leaning town for a couple reasons;

 

1) nyn gave reads

 

2) the way nyn said "im giving my reads on QT so ask hallia later" instead of something like "i don't have reads yet(or something similar)" makes me believe that they are probably town for several reasons. The most easy for me to vocalize is that I believe based on what she said there is actually a QT where she is jotting down reads/thoughts rather than she is just saying that as a lying scum. If she's a lying scum, she can actually just give her fake reads, the fact that she goes the extra step to say she's quoting from her thoughts on the QT reads to me as legit rather than something she's adding in to give herself more credibility and to look towny. Not sure if I am making my feeling on this understandable but I hope that I am. One caveat to this is that if she has some sort of history in leveraging elements like hydra QT in order to look more towny, then this whole paragraph is null and void. My impression of her from a discord group we are both on is that she's pretty straightforward so i'm going with that unless told otherwise by multiple sources not hallia.
