Okay, looking at Assassin's Creed -Csarmi's playstyle here is definitely different from both games....and in both games people commented on the difference in his playstyle XD

But he was town in Poker Night and Town in Assassin's Creed. He also posted wayyyyyy more in the town game than the scum game.

Csarmi, did the mod make an error/not fill in the results in the OP? -were you alive to the end of the game in Poker Night? Because your posts all sound like they came from D1.

Yeah I was confused at first - never seen that many post stutters :D

I'm going through some of Csarmi's old games - currently on Poker Night. Would you say that his playstyle changes significantly from game to game?

I already read parts of Pirates of the Caribbean for Pral. I can't find the ones he has listed in his spoiler though.

It's kinda vague memories, but the couple of town games I recall from salami, he seemed pretty similar to me. Like I mentioned before, if our interactions ended with me putting him on ignore it usually meant he was town. He'd typically have a very firm opinion and stick to it no matter what and it usually didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And we would both get pretty confrontational about it. I've seen tidbits of it in this game irt his stance on Sooh. And also at EoD1 when we butted heads. Not really used to seeing him relying on others' reads so much, though.

Also @Nyn (and @Pral if you feel so inclined), how likely is it that Csarmi would be posting this high volume as scum? The game I'm reading through he only has about 60 posts and he was alive to the end of the game.

I really have no idea

Okay.

The sense that I'm getting from skimming his games that he has in his spoiler is that his playstyle has changed drastically - regardless of alignment - since then. At least in comparison to this game.

But those games are all from 2013. I'm going to try to find some that are more recent.

And Csarmi, I don't think you ever answered my question about why you thought there was only one mafia left.

Doesn't matter if you think it's a pointless question. It's how I read souls ;)

Okay....so then scum really did have a second kill....

Which makes me go >.> at Pral all over again for suggesting it in the first place.

I've never seen Chris make a game where scum gets two kills in one night...he usually uses one-shot modifiers. Are you aware of any exceptions at DM?

Modifier?

Yeah, like one-shot strong man or one-shot ninja. The faction still only gets one kill, but the person with the one-shot role has to perform it for the shot to be modified.

Missed this reply. I don't think I've come across a ninja or strongman role in any of the games I've played in. At least that I recall. Though this is classified as a Standard game so I don't think they'd qualify. But I do think I've seen games before where scum got an extra kill.

Okay - in a standard?

All of Chris' games at PerC have had one-shot modifiers rather than extra kills if i'm recalling correctly...

I'm giving up on reading old games for now and going to do some cleaning (maybe).

Pral seems to be a lowish poster regardless of his alignment (i've only skimmed a couple of games though) but Csarmi seems (seemed) to post more as town than as scum.

Pral and Csarmi, would you say that's a fair assessment?

Oh and Pral, looking over my notes these are two questions I don't think you ever got around to answering.

Here I was asking why you were talking about only 3 trains on D1 (all being town) and ignoring the 4th train that was on Sooh:

And here I was asking for your explanation of Sooh's "progression" on Darthe.

You might have answered the latter later in response to someone else, but if you don't mind explaining your thinking again, I'd appreciate it. Or you can point me to where you did explain it. Don't feel like isoing you again.

@Liz - I had a short period of time where you started looking better, I was completely out of it and I wasn't that sure about Pral. What changed is that we got Cory's role and alignment and also I actually did some reading and thinking.

I did. I also don't much care about your questions at this point.

Okay so I believe Liz holstered her kill then came in here today looking to take advantage of the fact (from what she started out with, I expect she wanted to fake a save or a block on Pral or smth). Then she realized it wouldn't check out.

I also believe she holstered here cause she wouldn't want to kill Nyn (Nyn seemed to go along with her just fine, also, she wouldn't trust me/Pral to lanch one another, Pral flat out stated I was a villager and I'm a wildcard) and killing someone else would just give the game away (why not kill the person universally townread).

I think she made a mistake there, she should just have killed me and see what's up.

Now we can lynch her or we can do a no lynch and see what happens tonight.

And, I talked about why I find csarmi townier. I don't see scum hard town reading each other early in the game. In a 2 player scum game, distancing is the smarter way to go

In a two-scum game busing your team mate on D2 is the way to go?

Your logic is inconsistent.

Well yes it is when she's going down regardless. Let's face the fact. There is not world in which Sooh isn't getting lynched today D2 (or D3 the latest).

I think it would be fair to say that over half of Sooh's content is arguing with Liz and nudging her. Do you honestly think they'd do that as scummates? that she would hyper focus on her scummate like that instead of trying to drive mislynches?  I find it VERY unlikely.

Don't forget that Liz was in a neighbour QT with Cory. She had to play two games at once. That's a game changer.

Mafia having an extra vig kill N1 is not completely unheard of. Unless one of us is an SK or some sort of weird sh#t going on, that's what must have happened.

FYI I'm generally pretty anti no lynch. I find it dumb. I think we just need to put our heads together and figure this out. We still have plenty of time.

Posted

@Nyn - I do suggest that you read through the game, or at least the Cory/Liz part if you can. Neighbours.

Or I dunno do what you feel best.

I'm not lynvhing anyone but Liz here. We can no lynch if that helps but it's just a delaying tactic TBH.

(yes we can, I asked)

How was she going down regardless?

Look how long it took to get the wagon to finally build on her.

If you're really town reread the thread. Read through what Nyn pointed out with the vote count progression.

You don't know my meta, but I can assure you that I do not unnecessarily bus my scum mates. There were plenty of ways I could have shifted away from Sooh even if for some dumb reason I decided to start off D2 busing her. BFG was pushing the Kat lynch and I had already said I thought Kat was scum, so it would have been easy enough for me to follow BFG who was my top town read and everyone's top town read.

Explain to me why in a two-scum team it makes sense for Sooh to be trying to shade me all D1 and for me to try to kill her all d2.

Pral didn't even supposedly remember that Sooh was a lynch wagon on D1. And both you and Pral were opposed to her lynch.

So seriously, explain that to me clearly and logically.

My problem with both you and Pral is that neither of you is logically consistent but both of you can't be scum.

yes well no lynch is definitely a bad idea unless we are sure there is exactly a vanilla wolf left. which we can't know.

And you think that's reason enough for her and Sooh to be going at each other? I don't see how.
