And I chose zander over tiink partly because this isn't zander's best showing if he's a villager and partly because I think calder is likely to be a villager so I wanted to see where his read went

Tink I've already cooled on anyway and kinda don't really think he's a wolf

 

 

Can you elaborate on why please?

 

 

 

• If zander is a villager I'm having a hard time ranking which of calder/darthe/Sooh I would think is most likely to be a wolf trying to lynch him
• Calder I've never seen as a wolf go out of his way to try to get some random villager lynched but I think I've only seen a few of his games.
• Darthe has a few posts that seem like they could be pocketing me but he also has like one of the highest thread presences in the game
• Sooh has very villagery tone but voted zander in a spot where, if he is a villager, looks a little bit shady just because of (and if I'm remembering it sorry) the way she seemed to say "f it" and vote zander
• I don't think it's possible for calder and Sooh to be on a scum team because of the way calder is approaching soon, but aside from that I don't think I can rule out multiple wolves on the wagon. It is also possible they are villagers so yeah
• If zander is a wolf I think calder has a point that it's likely Sooh is the only person bussing him, but I think it's more likely that wolves are simply calling him a villager and avoiding his wagon in this case

 

•  I am a Villager.  I feel like Sooh should know me the best but as Ive been going along i think back to the game where sussed me for something that made no sense to me and we were both Villas then i ML'd her replacement for it.  Tho admittedly Sooh was sick that game.
• This is not an ego thing here but am I really some random villager?  I just mean like Im pretty intense as Town and I if I think I get on to something, Ive been told I can be pretty relentless and if Im correct and sussing a Wolf it tends to draw a lot of attention to them.  Im also very vocal and can usually get myself close to clear pretty quickly when I start feeling it.  I dont have that hard of a time imagining Scum any of them saying "Well Zander's not been really active here's an opportunity to get him ml'd."

• Can you show me where you dont think Sooh and Calder can be w/w based on his approach to Sooh?

No because I'm on phone but since I have a near perfect thread memory I can basically say it went along the lines of calder saying "wow Sooh is tied to zander and also a wolf she's the deepwolf that you all are town reading" and I mean, I dunno at the time it seemed like it would be unlikely for calder to outright say something like that as a wolf about his wolfbro, but I mean I guess it's possible? I still don't think it's likely because I don't see calder, despite the joking kind of nature he has, going to that extreme when he could simply clear Sooh as well and ensure they were both out of danger

Sooh is the most likely bus of the three because you are most notably bussing her back, so logically it would make the most sense since from the perspective of the wolves that would accomplish the most distancing. The way calder is approaching you seems less indicative of a bus and more indicative of a wolf railroading a villager or as I see it a very confident villager. Darthe just voted you and said "i'm right he's a wolf" so it's a possible bus but begs the question "why bus so half heartedly?" Because it seems too obvious

What do you think of me being the only real train this far into D1?

It's a big product of half the game not committing to anything other than saying "ok if zander is the wagon we will bend to the loudest people in the room"

 

Which means that the villagers aren't playing accurately and the wolves are probably mostly silent except for the whichever one wolf is leading a bunch of villagers against you

Might not be a good look but the third wolf is either nolder or hellion I think, with the rest being one out of the other two categories.

 

Though thinking about it, it's entirely possible category 1 has 0 wolves and category 2 has 2, but either way I think category two must contain one wolf ~always

Game Ethics - Mafia is filled with potential for strategic maneuvering and unorthodox play.  The anonymity of the internet, not to mention the ease of information sharing, creates an environment in which manipulation of other players is all too simple to do.  To keep the game a fun and enjoyable experience many moderators set particular boundaries within the game.  This is because without those certain boundaries the games could be easily broken, like a puzzle that you already know where all of the pieces fit at.  If you are an individual that enjoys that sort of thing then that is fine, however, any game at hand consists of more players than yourself and to keep a pleasant environment for the game each player must be conscientious and accountable for their interactions with those other players.
 
Cheating - Cheating in mafia usually comes in two forms.  Players either discuss the game outside of the moderator's will or knowledge (such as by creating private messages with other players) or they reveal information that they are not allowed to in the game (such as a picture of their role PM).  Choosing one of these actions will get you instantly killed in whatever game you play and is likely to also get you banned from some future games.  
 
Angleshooting - Angleshooting refers to an action that is legal but unethical.  This would be taking any action that benefits you or your team but is only possible through manipulation of game rules, setup, or the good will of others.  Examples of this can include (but is not limited to): 
 
Claiming a leave of absence (LoA) when you really aren't leaving.  
Using a loophole in the moderators rules to your advantage (known as Game-Breaking).
Attempting to use commonalities in role PM's to confirm other players.
Intentionally breaking the rules to force a modkill.
Keeping the bare minimum post count needed to stay alive (known as Active Lurking).
Attempting to get the mod to confirm personal things on thread.
Revealing Bah! posts (typically considered cheating).
 
 
Other unethical plays - Some things do not fall into either category but are simply impolite to do.  All is fair in love and Mafia so these are typically considered a grey area but it is worth noting so that you do not find yourself using them as regular strategy.

Personal attacks 
Signing up for games you don't have quite enough time for
Using real life as a basis for on thread arguments (great way to get yourself lynched)
Using your emotions as a shield/sword (great way to be hated by everyone, DO NOT GUILT TRIP)
 
 
Exceptions - 
 
If a moderator does not list these rules it is because they expect you to anticipate them.  All above statements are generally accepted as protocol for how to play the game.  Not being listed does not exempt any player from them even if a mod does let them slide.  However, on occasion a moderator will specifically mention that you can do specific ones.  Most commonly players are allowed to:
 
PM other players
Get a bit more heated than normal (within reason)
Edit posts on thread
 
...and rarely the moderator will be stricter than is typical.  
 
Read the rules every time.  It is the only way to be certain.  Beyond that, if you fear that any action you are about to take could be unethical send a PM to the moderator or simply don't do it.
