And stop being so addictive, mafia! I have an assignment!

*grumbles*

Did Besie do these kinds of posts in her town game because I'm usually irked by posts like these?

I think this is the first game I'm doing these posts? I didn't have assignments in the previous ones, I don't think.

But let's rather wait for people with better memories to tell you.

No, I mean the content of the post. I'm usually irked by posts where people say they are too addicted to the game or are enjoying it without really providing any other content or taking the game forward.

Don't take this in an offensive way. I've seen people do these genuinely and I've almost mislynched (probably have fully mislynched them too) even though it's just part of their personality.

But it's also a type of post I have trouble reading if it's sincere or fake.

To me it's kinda dependent on what the person's preferred alignment is. If it's someone who generally like to be a townie more than a scum, then perhaps it's a good thing, especially if followed up by high post count and a lot of real time interaction which arguably is the hardest for a lot of wolves.

In Besie's case I don't think there's much of a difference in how much she prefers being either alignment. I think she enjoys the game a lot as both town and scum. I do seem to recall in her early games that her posts, especially the longer ones, were kind of stilted and constructed and read a bit awkward. I can't say I've really seen that this game, but I think she has only had real time interaction this game so far, so I'm not sure I can draw any conclusions from it.

Besie legit likes Wolfing more then Towning!!!!

Why is this even something to consider????

In terms of her "mafia is so addictive" post I mean. Did she post less in her one town game? I don't remember because it has been so long.

Yes. Makes sense. I've gotten used to the term "fluff" for the type of posts that help absolutely nothing.

In this specific case, I don't think it's alignment indicative (of myself?).

This is true. I played all my previous games predominantly on my phone and I often quoted and responded to completely different topics in the same post. I'm certain it will appear again - either in this game or some next ones.

True, I do remember that my previous town game sucked, even when I don't remember anything else. You're wrong though. I started to really enjoy being town (in the sense of reading along with an unspoilered qt - thanks BFG) - especially when some of my thoughts turned out to be correct.

I know that she has literally said she prefers one over the other. If you read my post you'll see that I was explaining how a post like that could be clearing to begin with, but that I don't think it's as easy as that with Besie, because it's not like she doesn't post and is uninterested as either alignment.

Besie, on a scale of 1-10 how much do you prefer wolfing over being town

Excuse me if my assumption that you enjoy wolfing more than being town is incorrect

Not since I've started reading along to games.

I'm not sure how or why it changes your opinion on my alignment though?

Is this only obv to me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I like to town.

I like wolfin' more.

I don't dislike to town.

At this stage I can honestly say that I am happy with randing either alignment.
