It has also been proven to be true.  Its not common but it has happened. It is something that I will do at times as im sure you have seen so I cant really whinge at wifi doing it.

 

I can understand recency bias/previous history influencing a player's vote and tendency to read certain people scum, from both sides  , but seriously encouraging other people to vote based on that bias?

Missing the post in his explanation could go any way, but the bold and the follow-up vote seem classic aggressive (read Town!) Dice afaict. 

Thoughts from people who've played with him more recently? Is this still a reliable tell?

I also said (in my case post even) that "it's time to start playing for real". I'd take any of my posts before that with a grain of salt if I were you.

 

While I do appreciate the fact that you seem to have been looking for my posts in regards to the reactions I caused, I don't think you can measure me by the same standards as the others here.

Keep in mind that any reaction analysis I post will be from the PoV of not knowing anybody here, at all. Sure I've played 1 game with like 3 of you and I've talked with Sooh out of games, but that's hardly enough to know/feel your playstyles.

Breakdown of events:

 

1. Believer makes a case against Celeste.

2. dicetosser1 questions why Believer is pushing for votes on Celeste. specifically asking for one reason to do as he says.

3. Believer refers dicetosser1 to read his case against Celeste.

4. dicetosser1 refuses and votes Believer.

 

There are 3 possible extrapolations one can make from this.

 

1. dicetosser1 is town and lazy and doesn't want to be told to play the game.

2. dicetosser1 is scum and wants to get the easy mislynch.

3. dicetosser1 is town and actually doesn't care.

 

All 3 of these scenarios are bad for town, but I think #2 is most likely.
