It's the weekend. I would look at the ones that REALLY drove the lynch and pushed it over the cliff right as people get here to really start discussing things. I'm SERIOUSLY thinking a Clov sili mafia team. Please people look into it. I'm on my phone. They keep clearing each other for what Clov even says are bad reasons and activity.

Sili is my biggest one. He has steered this lynch toward me since d1. He said earlier I wouldn't let go of the laine thing but if you Isi him you will see he kept on and kept on bringing it up and ignoring any of my current posts. All he's done all game is drag people through the mud until recently. He decid d to sheep Cory he didn't care. Why? Because the other 2 mafia aren't in the scum pool any more.

It just seems like one hell of a coincidence to be stuck at work and unable to play the entire time that people are pretty much guaranteed to power Seph through but be able to pop in pretty quickly once attention starts shifting off the other candidate (who happened to be town) and onto you.

I just said that I basically lynch you, WF, and Hallia to close this game out.  I haven't seen anything that makes me think you couldn't be teamed with either of them.  On the chance I actually am misclearing somebody, Sili basically hammering that through when people were shifting their attention to you makes him by far the most likely to be teamed with you.

 

Besides the obvious, the only person I'm super comfortable saying you can't be mafia with is Cory.  I don't think it's likely you would be aligned with AJ because I think it's incredibly unlikely AJ is mafia, but even then the only thing stopping me is my independent read of him.

Think about that.  We're 3,500 posts into the game and the only two players I feel comfortable ruling out as potential partners are a confirmed townie and somebody playing so contrary to what I know to be his playing style.

 

You can blame work for your inactivity.  You can blame being a quieter player who needs time to think.  Both of those are almost certainly 100% true, but neither prevents you from randing mafia.  Neither shows me you didn't rand mafia.

Hallia has Sussed me entire game. Wifi Sussed me entire game. I even called Hallia out on it. You think I do that if I'm mafia with her?? I called out wifi before bfg so did Hallia. Any combination of the three of us makes no sense

It's just so annoying to me that this could all have been avoided if Seph just talked to me yesterday when I was asking him too and had actually bothered to play the game instead of self voting

 

No self vote, there's not enough to hammer. He gives me his reasons early and I get more time to reconsider and talk others out of it.

 

Instead I'm literally in the middle of thinking and in comes Wildfire and yolo Sili with the quick 1-2

 

It's demoralizing when townies are defeatist and refuse to play and I have to pull teeth to get them to even try to save themselves and in the end for nothing.

There that's my rant over I'll now focus on solving instead of being upset at Seph and whichever of the last two jokers were town.

I don't think it's impossible.  I just don't think it's the correct conclusion, even if I think everything he said is actually a pretty fair take on what happened.  

 

If I was going to case AJ, I guess my concern would come down to two things - his votes, and his impact.  I already questioned him on his avoidance of the BFG wagon and why he started the wagon on Zalanna from D1.  On both D2 and D3, he basically voted who we all knew was going to be the lynch and seemed quite content letting go both go through.  

 

That ties into the second point.  Impact.  Note I said letting both go through, rather than driving them through.  I think the impact he's had on this game is probably less than I would imagine 200 posts from AJ in three days would result in.  

 

 

But most of those 200 posts have sounded very good to me.  His thoughts aren't vastly different than my own, and he's done a pretty good job explaining his thoughts when we disagreed.  His tone and reactions just seem so natural.  His explanations have made sense.  Nothing he's done stands out to me that it couldn't just be town!AJ, and at the end of the day, I'm a pretty big fan of Occam's Razor Mafia.  If he's mafia, he's playing the kind of scumgame I have tremendous respect for.

There's also Sili but I have literally no idea what that guys deal is and everyone talked me down Day 1 so I just don't know if I am capable of making a cogent argument that it's him
