I don't think he really is mafia, no. My scum leanings on him are, I think, purely based on paranoia - for instance, my gut says it might be him because he had a lot to do with my really looking Turin over again and eventually being willing to vote Turin, yet posts like this one: http://www.dragonmount.com/forums/topic/96668-basic-friends-mafia/?view=findpost&p=3613185

 

Make a lot of game solving sense to me, so I am more inclined to say that he is probably town who is actively trying to solve this game and just got swayed into the same arguments that I did re: Thane and Turin. And I would rather vote someone based on something more concrete than a gut instinct at this point, we're running out of time.

 

Lily has been suspicious, but it's more probable she's town based on Hally's flip as cop. She could still be GF, but I'm so nervous to vote her out when Hally's peek could have been completely legit.

 

I admit I didn't like you riding on me for being "diplomatic" for so long - particularly as I was not diplomatic at all in my treating with Thane, and I think you've played with me enough to know that that's how I usually am.

 

I still feel good about Shad, possibly to my doom.

I'll confess, I don't really have anything on anyone. I'm going to do some rereading today. Gun to head, I'd vote Tab or you. My gut says one of you must be scum. I just can't figure out which one.

At this point I'm leaning Tab, mostly because I felt like she was trying to link herself to me earlier like we were partners. Now as for who is her partner I'm not sure. It's kind of what I was hoping to explore a little bit now.

A lot of your posts at the start are conversations around game solving, but aren't directly doing any. A lot of talk about hypothetical/game play situations (why someone might claim a headache, your own meta, playstyle) which is easy to talk about and make it look like you're helping/engaged.

 

Your vote on Thane was an easy one, but then everyone's was. Your play on D2, though, didn't really contribute to the situation at hand either. You went for me, but not really whole heartedly, again it seemed like a way to seem engaged in what was going on, but could actually be a way of lying low and letting others take care of someone who you know is town, and then just putting your vote in there once the damage has already been done.

Shad - I am liking the way you're playing, being your usual probing self. You feel good.

Turin - Same, I feel you're actively pushing people and trying to get the game moving/solve.

 

Eldrick - I am inclined to be swayed by your appeal to emotions. I'd put you on the townier side of null now.

Zander - no clue.

Sooh - true null, I need to ISO your posts still.

 

Lily - The Eld switch did ping me, but I need to ISO you to see if there's anything more

Hallia - I could possibly see you as being scum this game for your not being present and voting quickly for the first thing that stands out (Lily's switch)

Thane - I am not feeling convinced by your arguments/I feel like you are going with the flow more than solving

Well my play D2 was highly affected by my computer being ridiculous and having to be reset and scanned multiple times. My vote on you D2 was real, but I was unable to follow up. It was unfortunate, but I could also see Turin as being mafia and I was speculating in a pairing with him and you. 

 

As for D1 I sussed Eldrick and pointed out several things I didn't like about him, and I was trying to get my best reads on everyone else.

Well, he isn't wrong about it being high risk of me to leave my vote on you if we were partners this game. It only took four to lynch, and sometimes trains happen quickly.

Shad's performance from yesterday seems sound to me on an ISO this morning. You were spot on about Zander, you make good points about other people that I agree with (re: this post), and your vote was fine. I don't love the tunnelling after Eldrick today. I know you sowed the seeds of this yesterday, and I think I have seen you be uber-convinced before and go about it in the same way, but it doesn't give me a 100% town vibe. If Eld does end up flipping scum, I would still have my eye on you as a possible team mate for this kind of thing (in a conspiracy theory sort of world, as you know I'm fond of). More realistically, I think I could see Shad/Hallia, if Hally's lying about the claim.

 

I'm not convinced about Eld being scum yet, but a lot of this might be meta. The one time I played with you as scum before, you were all over the place in your voting patterns in a way that felt odd, like deliberate confusion. I am not feeling that from you in this game. Your votes so far have at least been things I agreed about and not things that made me wonder where the heck you were coming from. I don't feel bad about you hammering yesterday, as I would have as well, I was convinced Thane was scum (sorry, Thane!) I am also still rather on board with your AtE. 

 

I am not sure about Hally's claim. If she is scum, then it's taking a relatively big chance making that kind of claim so early without taking the time to suss whether or not it looks like there is a legit cop out there. However, the lack of counter claim does potentially look good for her. Given that it's such a small game, and basic, I wonder if there is a cop at all. If Hally is scum and false claiming, I think it looks good for Lily because as soon as Lily flipped anything but town, we'd have Hally too.

 

My strongest town read today is Sooh, followed by Turin.

It's posts like this that make me question Tab. Her whole game up to this point is like she's afraid of pointing fingers at anyone. She's very middle of the road (again, up to this point.) We'll see if that changes.

I didn't really see it change until today. She seems to be more assertive in her going after Sooh. I wish I had some meta on her.
