It's this post here that got my attention. The problem he seems to have, the one I agree with, is you having an issue with someone seeing Thane as scum withut having your own reason of him being town. Why is Turin's push on Thane bugging you so much?

 

 

Because I dont think it was a slip.  That seems to be the only reason for the push.

 

Even if you disagree with the reason you don't disagree with the read AFIACT (You don't have him as town. Null=could be scum)

What's your impression on Hallia and Tabor so far?

I've been pretty focused on Eldrick so far, so I can't say I have a solid impression. I know Hallia hasn't been around much, and I remember her talking about tanks, but not much stood out in addition to that. Taborline stood out to me in the post where she explained to Eldrick that I've done similar behavior with the voting before. It was a nullish post in and of itself, but it made me think that she was being very diplomatic, if that makes sense? I want to see if that behavior continues, though I don't remember her being very confrontational in mafia as either alignment.

Bottom 4 at this point would be Lily, Hallia, Eldrick, Tabor (in no particular order).

 

Hallia and Tabor both have been more or less in here, posting game related stuff, just to stay in the thread but not getting too involved. Eldrick, poor guy, is seen as scummy nearly every game. Last game i know he was, and this one feels different. Other style or other allignment? Dunno yet. But I feel his posts are weird. Lily hasn't done anything to convince me she's town this game yet. She's present, commenting left and right, but I'd have expected a bit more bite from her.

 

Townies, for now, would be Thane, Zander, Shad, Sooh, Turin. Zander feels alright, Shad is starting to show some involvement (which i hope will increase). Sooh is getting pushed, but reacts well to it imo. Turin is totally off with his read on me, so i hope he has different suspects lined up when i flip town.

You're on my wtl too, because of the comment I pointed out. Willing to go there too, but voting you after unvoting Sooh would have looked omgus, and that's not my intent.

I know I've mentioned it before, but this post just ugh. You're so concerned here about how it will look if you vote someone, and where I think Lily's turn on the heel was kind of towny in the lack of concern for how it looks, you look similarly scummy for it.

 

Eldrick's AtE is rather convincing though. I know that he's an easy mislynch as a townie. Ironically my hesitation to lynch him because he's an easy mislynch helped him in his last scum game, so there's that as well. 

 

Hallia's vote on Lily without her voicing any concern about that slot reads weird. She mentions Eldrick plenty in that post, so her vote on Lily can almost be seen as a vote to save Eldrick.

 

 

 

 

It's one vote in 5. I have reason to think he could be mafia. Others have mentioned his posts. If he had no votes would you have considered voting him for those statements?

 

Good question. I haven't seen enough to lay down a vote, but I am watching him. It isn't because he already has votes. 

 

 This was the post that caught my attention.

 

It's the last line, the comment about her reason not being because he already has votes. Watching someone "because they have votes" didn't sound like a towny thing to do, and town wouldn't think about that. Scum is overconscious of how they look. I feel like she overstated her reasoning.

I'm almost to the point where I started my reread.

 

Time to arrange some people:

 

Town:

Shad - Solving, asking good questions. Mainly on the same page as me, or if not I can usually understand where he's coming from.

Zander - I like most of his posts and thoughts so far this game, and he seems to have good observations.

 

Null to town: 

Taborline - High on my nulls list, because I don't think being diplomatic is in itself scummy. 

 

Null: 

Lily - She has had some presence this game, but I want more in order to call her town. I can sort of see what Eldrick was talking about when he pointed out her unwillingness to vote Thane, but at the same time I think her rapid succession on Eldrick later shows much less concern about how things look. The way she seems to almost be sheeping others is what's keeping her here.

Turin - We usually see things differently, I think last game was the exception to that rule though. I need to mull things over more about Turin though.

 

Scum:

Eldrick - I'm slightly swayed by rereading and nodding to a number of early posts of his, plus his AtE which seemed genuine (but I suppose it could have been just as genuine if posted from a scum pov). There are currently more things pointing in the opposite direction though.

Thane - I feel like he's just slanking along this game. It reminds me a lot about his scum games. 

Hallia - Little in terms of presence and solving. The vote on Lily is not great, and I'm also not convinced by later attempts to justify it.

That's not the issue, though. She gave a reason, and the reason doesn't match the facts.

I really don't see how her voting 3 mins after talking about me is an issue. She thought about it and voted me. I do the same thing. Think about what I just said and realize it's vote worthy.
