You described BG as someone you were playing with for the first time and you didn't know how to read. And that he hasn't been townie enough or scummy enough for you to be able to tell either way. Couple that with him pushing you repeatedly through D1 and D2? he's the player I'd expect you to view 100% of the times. Period.

Re claims, I dunno. Ive thought Thane was scummy all game, I stand by everything in my ISO/cases, but now I can stop tinfoiling on a Zander/Laine team, I don't know if I trust my read over theirs

Eldrick's plan to claim cop was made before hand. It's fairly obvious. They thought they were going into LYLO and needed one last mislynch to win. He posted at the same time stamp as the scene that started day. Which means to me that he didn't even bother to see if their NK went through or not. He was careless and just assumed it did. The reason why he was in such a rush? Because he wanted to slip in that claim before Lily claimed her scum peek on BG.

 

The only thing that bothers me is the 4 minutes gap between Eldrick and Lily's claim. That's a bit too close for comfort. But that's basically the only thing that bugs me about all of this. But if they thought they were going into LYLO and needed one more mislynch, why would they create a situation where the day ends with a scum lynch? And then the next day would too?  I don't know. I think you're giving this scum team a little too much credit (no offense).

And Thane's plan is ridiculous and is NOT pro-town. If he's actually the cop he should be peeking Laine or Pral so if we mislynch him, we'd have a narrower POE to work with. Instead he's saying he's gonna be peeking Lily which is dumb cause his flip should confirm her alignment either way. HE IS NOT THE COP.

Now I'm starting to wonder if it's true that they didn't try to NK Lily N2. She breadcrumbs a BG guilty peek... if they NK her... she flips cop and BG is screwed and instantly gets lynched on D3. Much better to NK whoever and then counterclaim her on LYLO. That way they get a mislynch AND still have BG at N3 to use his role.

I tried. in case you didn't notice, I was on him for most of the day. I only switched to Turin when it was obvious Thane wasn't happening.
