But that's super weak. If you're still alive late game, and unresolved, and you have nothing that locks you clear, someone should really look at the case I made.

What's weak? I was seriously confused. You're still in my high town pile.

 

Anyway I'm trying to clear myself. Reads will become better and scum pile will be better after flips. I agree if I haven't stepped it up then I'm not helping and need to go.

 

 

Moving you up in the POE based purely off of other's behavior is a weak reason.

 

Your behavior is outside of your norm and even if it isn't, indicates poorly.

 

I can be wrong. I admit that 100%.

 

I have used, sparingly, the behavior of the thread to clear or condemn people before. Most famously, I picked out the one inactive player who was scum in a game on day one and championed his lynch for three days, based purely on what I saw the other wolves had to be doing, because of where everyone else in the game was voting, plus assuming no more than one inactive wolf (odds favor that assumption).

 

I have used the behavior of the thread to push people I suspect up the POE before, but no specific example comes to mind.

 

Pralaya in this game, was initially pushed up based on who wanted him dead. I didn't trust half of that group. Then his catch-up looked villager-ish but he's still essentially close to null.

What did you do that is actually outside your scum meta, that you would not do today.

 

What are your core villaging principles? I need several.

 

Demonstrate that you followed them by citing example.

Mainly I've been trying to town tell and narrow the POE to find scums. I've been defending those I believe to be town and giving players a fair chance when I feel they were being mis represented. Examples: Wish/Celeste. I believe that Wish is town and I'm going to trust her read of Celeste for right now but I want to see a change in Celeste's play day 2. If I don't see that, I'm going to put her straight into my WTL for tomorrow. And there was someone trying to tie the two together because of the heavy defense, and I stepped in because I know they hydra and that's not fair. That would be like someone trying to link me and Zander because we tend to town read each other straight out of the gate and we're really when we play together. Another example is Pral. He's been very inactive but he's putting forth the effort to catch up and supplying reads where he can. I'm not going to write him off just because he doesn't have a billion post counts like Zander. That's ridiculous. And wanting to lynch a potential townie is fudging stupid, imo.

 

I've been falling behind on ISOs and want to do them but I've been a little off and that is fine; I've done my best to be here in real time to talk and get some interaction to help with my reads. While I know they're not going to be perfect, that's that. I've spoken where I thought players were off (ie Kaylee, Zander, Shad (to a smaller extent)) and questioned players that I have scum leans on. I've also done my best to draw out more from null/inactive players so that we can get some kind of information off of them before going into the next phase.

 

Something that I don't do as town? I'm not sure that I'm entirely self aware of my own meta, but I certainly wouldn't be giving people the benefit of the doubt. I would be more likely to attack where I saw weakness and let dumb lynches happen (Pral, Wish, Celeste for example). I would also be pushing people a bit more to sink themselves instead of encouraging better play from them.

- Joke votes are not normal for me except if I feel relatively comfortable with someone both inside and outside the game. 

- Dice and Penny are probably the only players I would jokevote at this stage of my career.

- Voting is not something I do lightly in any case (to this point). I don't like being wrong. I'm think I'm learning the advantages of throwing votes around, but it's not something I easily/naturally want to do when there's a game to win!!

 

I play... differently to this? More carefully/sensored? Usually. As either alignment. But I'm hyper! (winding down) and trying not to take the game so seriously, trying to be more me than a player, if that makes sense? Blame Chris/Cory if I don't make sense. Z, I think I played once or twice with her in the game. I don't recall a lot about her but I think she is a more analytical player. I recall dice always having to tell her to go to sleep.

For me, I'm Turin and I like lazy Sunday mornings in bed, medium sized walks in the park and living here in the shire.

I'm town. Like always.

 

I can be analytical when I put my mind to it. I like sifting through stuff and finding nitty-gritty inconsistencies. That goes for play in either alignment.

I've tried to sleep more the last couple of games. I think you're more likely to understand me correctly this game if you think like Dice and just question if I seem like me.

 

 

TLDR I'm wary, but I doubt I'm voting you today Zan, because I want fun :D If you're Town and we figure each other out this game will #FULLTWINENFPFTW!

It seems like you've already come in with the preconceived notion of reading me scummy and that's not a good look my dear...Like each of my interactions youve felt off about,  I mean I get that people Ive never played with before may sense that but its just that all youre using is Forced and Awkward....and like 6 pages in, that seems very weird, but then I'm also weighing in the ENFP so Im kinda meh with this, but something Im noticing fwiw.

I'm also done re-reading until the flip. My apologies. I tried very very hard to clear Zander by reading him this game about 2 times cover to cover plus the initial reads of his posts when I read it to begin with, plus looking at him in Belichick.

 

I did full ISO on Celeste and Kaylee after I pushed Turin.

 

I looked at Pralaya manually because the search feature kept popping up only ONE of his posts in this thread, and none of the others. He seemed fine.

Wont lie to you. I feel frozen. Despite what some peoples impr3ssions could be that i just post carefree and stuff and dont bother and feel good about that even when half into the game only... I dont. I just really dont know what to do. I have vague impressions but i cant r3ally do much without reading all and now that would tak3 me 4 hours a day.

His approach is genuine. His reads and the way he forme them is how i would exp3ct Pray to be. And he dont give a sh#t about perception.

 

Genuine is a common theme for Csarmi when making his reads...I wonder why.....and really Pral really hasnt done much to get a solid town read at all imo,

Yeah but I'm not going to rely on wolves to point at a wolf right now with the outcome this in doubt and several candidates proposed.

 

I know of one person who is a villager, me. Odds of me lynching a wolf are higher than a wolf.

 

Turin's claim approximately never comes from a wolf, but it can happen, but not at the time of day he claimed with me explicitly warning off counterclaims.

 

It's always a suicide move.

She never ceased to be at the bottom of my POE.  Missing maybe 10? pages of content here and there to work with but I don't feel like anything she's done has made me feel the slightest bit better.  I noticed her tossing votes around and not being afraid to call people scum as town in House of Cards.  Granted she wasn't this passive in Frozen, either, but I don't know how much casing her team mates has to do with that impression. 

 

As I understand it you shied away a bit because you think as scum her team mates would bus at this point and no one's really jumping on her?
