Okay. Did you get a chance to see what I wrote in response to Nolder? I'm definitely going back and reading Celeste in this game alone (at least trying my best to)

And yeah, I read what you said about Nolder.  It didn't jive with my memory of NBC, but the games aren't fresh in my mind atm and if I reread them again right now my head will quite possibly explode.  But I can try.  I kind of don't want to dump Celeste out of my head just yet.  I'll relook in a bit.  I'm starting to reach a breaking point in this game where I just can't process jack.

Interesting.  In Rag it felt like she was avoiding much contact with her team mates until she flipped on Verbal, said his absence was scummy plus some nondescript gut read, then called him obv scum and voted him.  She didn't address her team mates at all in TUS except to ask Wombat a generic question about his reads, though the sample size in that game is incredibly small.  I was starting to get the opposite impression--that she tries to avoid much interaction with fellow scum.

Huh. That's weird. I know that she will vote teammates without hesitation, even lynch them, but probably not bussing in the same way that you meant.

I guess the biggest thing with Rustlemania is that while a lot of her conclusions were fairly non-descript on average, she was still able to point more precisely to the root of what bothered her with some of her scum reads.  And when she didn't agree with something she wasn't shy about calling it out.  She did articulate why she found Nolder's opening push on her scummy, and she also highlighted a post he'd made about mechanics which she felt was in error and explained that when she's scum she sometimes fakes confusion over the set-up so she was suss of him doing it there.  She always manages to say more than "a gut thing" with Nolder--challenges a guy who'd called them v/v and told her her reason for sussing him wasn't an accurate scum tell by demanding he prove it.  When Hallia backs off and says there was probably a misunderstanding between them Celeste doesn't drop it, says that's not good enough and Hallia needs to explain what caused the misunderstanding.  She's a lot more aggressive and explicit, at least with some of her targets.  But then her scum read on Zander (and subsequent vote) does fall back on the totally non-descript--his fluffiness reminds her of TUS plus "gut".  So she's capable of both articulated and completely vague scum reads as town.

Whereas in Ragnarok all of her reads are non-descript beyond "gut", "lurks too much", "pings me" etc.

She's provided a lot more content in this game, and there's some direct observations in it (especially irt Cass being town) but at a much lower ratio than Rustlemania, so I'm not convinced one way or the other.

The big thing I haven't seen in any of her games is this pervasive defensiveness/being bothered that people can't read her/don't understand her.

I'm not going to be around much tomorrow with my laptop being broken, because I'm not going to miss the playoffs.  I'll be on cellphone most of the night.  Tonight I'm totally burnt out and making hardly any progress.

It's the fact that I don't have a big time role to back me up shad. In rustlemania I was power town. I had something to prove myself if a lynch might happen.

Here's the search term for NBC...

Just reading some of his first posts for now. Opening is different, imo. NBC Nolder is much more assertive, aggressive, and calls people out on their crap.

This game, the only thing of note to me is his cowboy hat/baseball bat question.

Yeah, looking again I agree with this.

Nolder bottled up a lot more in that game when he came under fire.

Like there was an instance when I asked him a question and he repeatedly flat-out refused to answer because he was so frustrated.

My confidence as town is boosted by being a doctor or cop because I am a huge help to the game. I'm not as easily ignored or twisted compared to vanilla town. @shad

I have a new idea.

I'm going to pull up like 8 games from Nolder and read just the first page of ISO without checking roles first.

If I can correctly predict his alignment every time, he's town here.
