Wow, you didn't lynch me after all that?

I won't say it is a good thing. Because I will be the focus again tomorrow unless I die tonight. And, it is a waste of time again.

Posted

I dunno, I've been torn on Nolder.

It seems like everybody has been torn on Nolder while he was just off to me.

The thing with Nolder is he is capable of appearing very scummy as town, and he does things that can make you go o_O and seem completely out of touch with the game.

For instance, in NBC, after AJ openly claimed wolf, town!Nolder read him strong town.

But it's a pretty easy thing to fake.  Nolder's been scum twice recently.  He got caught twice.  Both times he engaged rather conventionally, pushing easier town lynches, protecting/null reading team mates until a bus became necessary, kind of common fair.  Wouldn't be hard to come into this game saying "I'm just going to make extremely weird and unorthodox reads without much explanation and everyone will think I'm on my town game."

This is why I want him to talk to me more, and why his avoidance of doing so worries me.

We lynched one of your two top scum.  She flipped town.  What's your adjustment from there?

I mean really, how on earth do you think this is a waste of time?  I understand if it was on say, Nolder, who you were town reading, but if you place any value in your ability to solve then the lynch shouldn't bug you in the slightest.  The flip, sure, but not the lynch.

(If you're solo scum and want to concede and get this over with no one's going to think ill of you for it, btw.  There's no way you're surviving this game anyway so it would just save us all a bit of time.)

I know y scum read flipped town. That is why I am saying it is not a good thing.

The problem is I know where it is going to go D3.

Red, I guess he did push Kivam in AoL....

Sigh, I am town. Exactly what I am talking about

Well, here's the thing Pral.  Your lynch looked like a foregone conclusion today, but it didn't happen.  If you're town, it looks like a foregone conclusion to you tomorrow now.  But that might not happen either.

What's a foregone conclusion is that you will be resolved sooner or later in this game if we don't win it lynching someone else first.  If you're town, help us win it by lynching someone else first.

Obviously will do that. I am rereading based on the information we got today and looking for things I missed. Not sure if I can do the whole 193 pages. Will be looking at specific posts.

I've been looking over some of d1 for funsies

#1851 is the turn from Kaylee, to Csarmi, for future reference. Nobody was picking up the case, Csarmi was supplying games for Pizza to look at, Wish was actively reading other games to compare notes and concluded that Kaylee was town, and Zander/Shad were discussing whatever they were discussing (I wasn't really reading that part for context lol but it was probably something about how Wish is 100% scum or something).

#1865 Nolder asks about proof of Csarmi feeding Pizza data.

#1889 I'm not sure if Nolder just always reads scummy to me, but when he responds to Wish saying "I really don't think he [Csarmi] was ever persuadable" with "Yeah ok I can agree with that statement. Not sure what it means if anything though" it almost comes off as a soft defense. Though I may be starting to get paranoid.

Looking back at #1865 Nolder asking for proof could just be trying to see where Pizza was irt his oncoming case of Csarmi.

#1891 I like that Cass is already switching gears onto Csarmi. At this point i believe shew as already voting him but she's starting to case him a bit more. Would deep wolf Cass be doing this at this point? Or would she have jumped on the Kaylee case?

#1907 there's no way in hell Wish is ever mafia, just fyi.

#1937 Csarmi: "Don't lynch Shad, Cass and Len ever. I believe Turin. Second tier is Pray and Kaylee." (colors mine based on flips/claims)

#1948 Zander still pushing a Wish lynch, appealing to Pizza. This is supposed to be the counter wagon to Csarmi, I'm assuming.

Current VC at this point was (colors based on flips/un cc'd claims only)
Turin (1)-Laine
Wish (2)-Zander, Turin
Csarmi (4)-Cass, Pizza, Wish, Kaylee
Pralaya (1)-Lenlo
Kaylee (1)-Pralaya

#1999 Zander starts ISOing Csarmi and making his push there

#2051/2 Pizza switches to Zander because of his exchange with Shad

#2133 @Pizza/others(?) Why are you town reading Nolder for this vote on d1?

#2137 if Lenlo wasn't an open claimed role, I wouldn't be liking these posts dismissing the Pizza/Zander interaction.

VC here
Wish (2) Zander,  Turin
Csarmi   (3) Cass, Wish,   Kay
Pral (1)   Lenlo
  Kay   (1) Pral
Zander (1) Pizza
Pizza (1) Nolder

#2205 Wish +

#2217 lol Nolder

#2279 VC
Wish (1) Zander
Csarmi (3) Cass, Wish,  Kay
  Pral (1)   Lenlo
  Kay     (1) Pral
Pizza (2) Nolder   Turin
Zander (2) Shad Pizza

Then me and Lenlo add to the Csarmi train making it (5)

#2314 is a funny post by Nolder. If town, okay whatever, this looks good. But as mafia, I can see this "look I'm here and I want to lynch Celeste but I have my vote on Pizza but mafia!Zander doesn't"

It's just that, while some of you were town reading Nolder for his vote on Pizza it just makes no sense to me. In a world where Kaylee had a solid case written on her and was then defended by mafia!Csarmi and town!Pizza and mafia!Zander are going at each other, Nolder goes and votes Pizza?? Why?

It all just feels really distractiony to me, I guess.

#2319 Nolder: "Someone help me understand the Csarmi train because I don't get it."

I have seen Town Cass while she is busy. The lack of presence sometimes isn't as concerned as the first time I saw it.

What does that mean, Lassie?

Just because she isn't around much doesn't exactly mean she is mafia. Although I haven't seen her mafia play before.

Okay, got it

Same, about the second part. I've only ever seen her as town.

Actually that's not even my problem with Cass, like at all.

Then what is it? I may have missed it.

Cass: not a fan of her start to the game, tossing out a lot of questions that I felt did nothing. I liked her shift in playstyle though and that's probably what has me even slightly town reading her.

I'm getting caught up in her placement on the Csarmi lynch. It feels like an easy place to be at the start of a scum's lynch train and she didn't move from it during d1, or even try to that I can tell. Easy because she can gain town cred for being at the beginning of that lynch but she didn't really do anything to drive it, if that makes sense. I feel like if we're looking for a deep wolf, it's gotta be her.

But I really really want to solve Pral/Nolder first before I even think about Cass too much.
