I want to take a hero shot now.

I don't think wolf sooh is voting wolf pralaya.

I don't think wolf pralaya is voting wolf zander.

I'm not scum and the Dice aren't very lucky right now.

I get a general feeling like wolf Zander doesn't exist.

I also get a general feeling like a wolf pralaya wouldn't be voting for a town Zander because it's a bit too out there.

So chop Zander and Dice and Nomi and Pralaya from the non-voters of Rack, and that leaves Lenlo and Sooh.

ISOing Sooh.

I honestly want to hero shot without doing any re-read or ISO.

A part of me knows that if my gut is right but the wolves have fooled me on an intellectual level, re-reading is actually counterproductive.

I don't know why I'm ISOing Sooh, I just... this is what I need to do to convince myself not to.

Nomi I think it's a dangerous dangerous assumption to believe that wolves are going to play well.

it would be more dangerous to assume that they wouldn't be able to play well. Well, that's my point of view.

The Sooh ISO, plus my reactions.

Vote Thane

general pleasantries and a post about making it "right" this game, at Shad. Is a mild negative indicator.

likes Rack

hi fives me, reads my post at Zander being a townie as sarcasm, not legitimate declaration which it was.

Jab at Sili for OMGUS voting me

helpful post

Agrees with Sili that Zander and Corylynn are townies.

friendly post at Dice

Gives Zander a hard time

Clov goes for Sooh, Sooh suggests she doesn't actually suspect Sili. This feels a little off considering the jab.

Postings are a day apart at a time here, suggesting Sooh is actually busy since she's getting voted.

Swats at Thane for his reaction to having a random / "joke" vote on him for a bit.

Talks to taborline

Does seem to be anticipating more votes than she got, as if aware of the pressure and the suspicion without reading much? Perhaps a peek ahead and saw her name being mentioned and assumed the worst? I dunno.

Talks to taborline, Talks to cory

Misinterprets Zander's post, which Lenlo correctly interprets. Sooh is off on her reading of context.

Says will ISO Thane, says Thane sounds completely fake in this post

Says she needs an interpreter to read Zander.

Tosses Zander's wrong about Sooh history back at Zander.

Says Corlanna, Sili, Zander, and Shad are townies. Of those, only Shad could even realistically be her wolf buddy, imo. So I want to know why she thought Shad was a townie there. I don't see Sooh being wolf with Zander based on her exchange with him, I don't see Sooh being wolf with Sili who is never a wolf this game, and Corlanna and Sooh, nay. Cory's actions have negated that likelihood.

Says Thane is a wolf in that post too. I think her townies are just consensus + a wolf (if she's a wolf) or consensus + someone who had posted really well around that time (in either alignment). It's not risky.

Has trouble understanding a Clov post, in a way that slightly counterindicates Clov being mafia if she is.

When Shad prompts Sooh to look at Thane closer, she wavers and says she needs to ISO and make up her mind on him. hmm.

Shad prompts Sooh to town better and lynch scum with her. Almost feels like in-thread coaching. Can wolves generally talk to one another during the day phase on these boards? Is it always yes or no, or depends on the game?

On my prompting to give me a name besides Thane for wolf, she names: Tabor, Dice, Hally, Lenlo. Cautiously watching Clov, Yates, Nomi.

On my prompting says I'm almost clear town.

Says has read dice, and doesn't give any indication there was work done.

Says Taboo (Taborline) is town

Looking back, here's the post that pinged me but I went in the other direction with it and said I don't think she'd be so inconsistent as a scum.

Says she ISO'ed Hallia, still no work demonstrated. Vaguely talks about Lenlo.

Feels good about Taborline but I can't really see why.

This one feels odd.

Wants more Rack posts, backs up BFG on something.

Votes Hallia

Ehhh.... I can't continue to give a blow by blow.

Votes Pralaya. That vote felt defensive.

This one feels manipulative and legit frustrated.

Her suspects are now Rack, Pral, Lenlo, and Dice. I feel like these are people others mentioned as suspects plus an OMGUS thrown in.

Yates and Sooh go at it, Sooh trends down for Yates, and Sooh pouts a bit.

She's really really rattled. And that's it, that's all her posts.

I'm saying I have seen numerous games where villages have chosen to lynch villagers over wolves becase "player can't be a wolf, look how poorly he's played / he's not defending himself / he's not attacking anyone"

For the most part I'd argue low-impact slots are by nature a teensy bit > rand wolf in the first place.

But DM wolf culture has been so "lay low and hope no one notices" for so long and I know that doesn't apply to Rack but WF wolf culture is very very similar.

I just think it's incredibly dangerous to ever think "this guy is too incompetent to be a wolf, so I'll defend him" and is the sort of thing that causes extreme distractions for villagers down the road

I want to find the good wolves, Cory.

But you're right... a wolf can play badly.

Sadly I think it's Sooh. And that's really sadly on my part.

I don't believe she found those townies on her own and I think her suspects are recycled or defensive reactions to those players interactions with her.

I think she too easily cleared and was friendly toward certain people for diplomatic reasons.

Sooh is an odd slot. I have one real reason for thinking she's a villager but it's not amazing and I have seen her far more obvious before. With that said I'd still guess v. Laine disagrees with me there so if I'm wrong she gets some credit for being better than me.

Pral felt really townie in Belichick and a wee bit scummy when he subbed back into Frozen, and he flipped town both times.  His content is traditionally so low that I don't feel like I have much meta to go on despite having played with him twice before.  I don't know what to make of his fight with Cory because I don't really have a grasp on how he thinks, but I want to look at his cases on Zander and Sooh again before deadline.  I could say what he did differently in Belichick that made him an easy read, but I would really like for him to come up with it himself.

Well, in Belichick, I lied as a doctor that I was vig on D1 and kind of winged it for the rest of the game. A lot of people didn't think I was town in that game because of that. That was something I did for the first time ever in all my mafia games. So, it again goes back to what I was saying to Cory - I don't necessarily play the same way in every game. I don't know how you would want to handle that.

Also I don't think Rack's game is an example of an incompetent wolf, nor does he strike me as a player who would be.

I think his game so far has been sloppy, perhaps, but not because of bad wolfing. And not wholly bad either, just... not hitting certain people's bars of expectations.

I have pretty extensive experience with him, so I'm going to take my word for it over yours LDO

Well I am on a limb here.

Walk me through wolf Rack in the situation earlier when it was just me versus him. A player with a mafia proficiency rating equal to any positive integer would probably have voted me there if he's scum. What's the next level move? Not vote me so we're buddies, and thus, gains one mislynch?

It's workable I suppose, but better is to do probably anything.

If BFG doesn't ramp up a little on d2 please kill with fire

BFG does a lot of work at end of D1 when round is decided and no risk is involved and immediately leaves.

Real Life is used as reason.

I want to say that's null but I just can't ignore the overall safeness of the move.

I has a sad because I really like what I'm seeing personality wise from my suspects.

This is the part of the game I like the least. Only if I'm right is it close to worth it.

Unfortunately I have a travel day up to Short Hills which I should have left for 5 min ago so my availability will be low today. I should have a little time after work but the it's on to Philadelphia

and fwiw I have seen BFG in antspew mode as a wolf before. She spews ants.

Don't hammer Rack. ISO Sooh and tell me what you think before end of round.

Then vote how you wish.

Yeah, Sooh is also pretty high in my wolf list. I talked about a couple of posts by Sooh which rustled my feathers in this post. Her reaction was also horrible - she basically said I was misrepping her and proceeded to OMGUS vote me.

I saw. If you have time compare it to my own ISO of her up a few posts there, see if you can see what I'm seeing.

I should have probably formatted it with coloring to make my comments separate from my summary.

I am also running out of gas. I gotta tap out in a few minutes.
