The only game I have recently (or maybe not so recently) seen Mafia!Thane is Star Wars and he was hydra with Verbal. Not much to go on there though

I caught up, but I'm on the bus. I'll try and remember what everyone wanted me to respond to when I'm done with classes for the day. I remember sone one wanting more explanation on Thane and Sili not liking how I followed up my questions to people.

 

From how I caught up, I'm glad Nomi is taking part more. Tab. I singled out Thane over the others because he bugged me more.

Actually, since I'm in quasi full catch up mode and noticed, they didn't come out of a hat. Those are the three people [along with himself] that people had been mentioning as scum suspects. Because, yeah - what's the difference between Thane and Tabor? Nobody mentioned Tabor.

 

Let me finish catching up and I'll look back at Lenlo a bit. I kind of let things play out because there were some bad pushes on him early, but that doesn't mean he isn't a wolf caught for the wrong reasons.

Pretty almost sure this is the most effort I've seen from Thane d1, like ever. It's not a bad thing, just how he plays. But I wouldn't call his effort minimal, for Thane.

I would guess Thane is a villager based on 1-2 things I've noticed that he does as a villager that he does less as a wolf

Sadly yes. She will go long periods of time without saying a lot. Then post fluff if she isn't engaged in a game. But early on? She will typically play a little harder - and often hard enough to get an early Town read on. When she stays quiet I get concerned.

IIRC, Mafia!Thane in Star Wars was zero content, more fluff than a stuffed bear. Generally town!Thane to me is also fluff, but with some bits of content thrown in for good measure, but there's a good build after d1 and we have flips. This recent post from Thane is new because it's more than I usually see from him this early in the game. I would caution to say that's indicative of town!Thane, not maf.

Meh. Continue to not have a real problem with anything. His reads list stands out at first given his bottom three but if you look at his nulls? It's not even a terrible POE from his pov. And maybe the thread *did* influence his scum reads but w/e. It doesn't look like he's just making stuff up to fit the thread consensus.

 

I actually feel okay about Lenlo.

He isn't even "fluffy" so much as hard to follow. And sometimes that gets him in to trouble - especially when he decides to go against the grain - and often leads to his mislynch by day 3.

 

I agree with rest of your post, though, and I'm enjoying seeing what appears to be an improved Thane posting style.
