Ultimately I don't think you're someone who would opt to not cop hunt though--at least not on your own.  You're a bit of a gambler and might roll with the idea if a scum mate brought it up.

AJ did a great job. Untill we nail another wolf, the Seer should stay quiet and reveal only if there's one wolf left to have a max of people cleared at that point. Hoping ofcourse that the Seer isn't NK'd before.

Morning!  I didn't see a reason to comment on Calder's posts yesterday.  You all knew where I stood with him and he was getting lynched.  Flip breaks my pretty awesome no town lynches streak but whatever.

 

It still bothers me. We knew where you stood? Sorta. But both you and Calder were seesawing some between scum reading and town reading each other. You didn't seem THAT sure on D1. You hesitated. Which is fine, cause.... D1.

 

You started D2 with a vote on him, which again, isn't a real problem. But when his content got REALLY bad. And he moved pretty rapidly from people's town/null piles to their scum pile, I would have expected you to drive it home. Instead you were not present at all... you just made some casual comments in a couple of other directions and didn't say a thing about Calder's push. That would be something I'd expect from scum, since others were already pushing that snow ball along and he was reacting pretty horribly...so for a while, you had a breather and weren't at the center of attention (like you were on D1). Seeing you hardly do much in that instance isn't encouraging. Why intervene with a sure thing?.... wheres as town, since he's been a focal point of your content... I'd expect you to be a more integral part of his push.

Eh, if that's how you see it.  I gunned for him all D1 and didn't let it drop going into D2.  Once other people finally started seeing what I was seeing, my work was done.  Only thing that would have made me reconsider at that point was if he dropped an N0 peek.  Out of keeping with my own self-proclaimed Shad town meta?  Yep.  I had pretty strong convictions on this one and he wasn't interested in playing ball.

I don't think he was killed for a fakepeek on her fwiw. I think that was related to a read - he made it very clear who his peeks were.

 

I disagree, personally. But I guess it's open to interpretation, so I won't argue about it.

 

General thoughts, though.... I'm not sure if the Halli EoD post was something he had planned from the get go or if it was a last minute thing. Either way, it was clever. He did start off the day with a vote on her... then ISO'd her, not liking what the saw there.... his post at EoD sort of sealed that impression. If I were scum, I'd very realistically interpret that as him having a guilty on her. AJ's willingness to go for Calder doesn't bug me because Calder's lolcatting made it seem like a sure thing. So he rolled with that... but still slipped in instructions for later in case he died. I would totally expect AJ to reveal a guilty last minute like that.

I wouldn't really say you started it, per say. You said he needed pressure for his defense of crusher at EoD. I think a lot more issues surfaced after that with how he dealt with the pressure.. specifically his unwillingness to give reads on the 11 other players in the game...  and going on about his nonsense philosophy.

I'm both annoyed at Calder (for not trying harder to prove he was town) and at everybody else for simply going with it. I'd hope that the more experienced players in here would see what had happened and would go "Hey, wait a sec. After Crusher, this seems just waaaayyy too easy"

 

My annoyance is actually with him and him alone. He acted like scum would, lolcatting all over the thread and at some point actually saying he was scum. I associate that behavior with scum and I can't fathom why a townie would do that. It basically wasted the entire day because were were all waiting to check him off as scum to be able to find connections to the third one...... where's if he had played ball and acted more like a townie should, sure, maybe he would have been lynched anyhow... but I think we would have gotten a lot more done discussion wise.  *shrugs*

In Pulp Fiction scum!Kivam wanted to include a jailkeeper and NK himself so that one of us could claim vig at lylo.  AJ knows there can be deep shenanigans when Kiv is in the game.

 

Does scum know AJ knows that?  Speculation at that level is kind of pointless.  I don't believe AJ planned it to look like what you're saying, but we won't know if scum took it that way until DT.  I guess bottom line is his death does not confirm Hallia scum.  Gun to my head right now I'd still lynch her.
