Kamarile swept through the palace, a look of slight superiority on her face as she caught the decadent wall hangings and carpets. You'd have thought that four years into the war thateople would have scaled back their greed.

 

She swept into the room, lounging on a daybed was a woman, unconscious. With a concerned look she swept forward and knelt next to the bed a look of concentration on her face. Deftly she wove fire, earth, air, water and spirit to delve the mind. It was a simple matter to deal with it, not worth the energy of the sho-wing to get there and with a frown she turned to the husband to scold him, then froze in shock and a little terror.

 

"Mesaana" she said softly "what do you want?"
