It was like watching a ball knock down some bowling pins.

That was funny. He just sort of swatted them off.

Also, where is the earthquake part of the video you linked, Yates?

The crowd reaction included so many people jumping up and down that the earth shook enough to register on a seismograph a block away from the stadium

Like 2:20 in? Something like that.

Ohhhh

So technically, he didn't actually make the earthquake. The crowd cheering for him did.

Thanks for the information. I am a different person now.

I now know that American football can cause earthquakes. lololololol

Question: I'm usually used to threads being locked after flips because of a night phase, which there is also a deadline for.

Is that not what happens here?

(Gosh, this is such a noobish question.)

Threads here usually stay open during night.

@Cory - I didn't understand the Bert stare. Are you disagreeing with me that Lenlo likely spewed AJ Town?

Posted

woooooo

I like this. I don't like having to shut up after a flip, especially with new info. <3

And no danger in getting modkilled for posting after a Day ending post.

I must have missed this. What was the Bert stare?

???

Is this another football thing.

Depends on the format but usually it stays open for us rabble rousers to yell more

Lol.  Rabble rouser should be a role.  Gets one-shots for leading lynches or something.

Okay - going back I think this flip looks bad for Shad. Not great for Csarmi, either.

Agree on Shad.  Null on Csarmi ... he could have easily voted for me to save Lenlo if he were scum.

Also, the way Zander bounced his vote around just wiped out all the good feelings I had about him after my reread.  I don't buy that he missed the "plurality lynch" rule, after it was brought up in thread multiple times, including in a discussion with him and all-caps-and-bold right before the deadline.  If that's right, moving the vote to Lenlo instead of me looks like an awkward effort to avoid being on the competing lynch when a teammate went down.

The reverse bert stare is much different than the regular bert stare. While the standard bert stare is probably the greatest way to communicate that somebody has made a blunder of great merit, the reverse bert stare conveys a much different emotion.

I actually remember the post where AJ commented on the early Lenlo wagon with me/key/razen/yates on it and said "this wagon looks good" and voted thereHonestly I want to clear him for that post alone

Plus, you know, being in Lenlo's "lynch pool - wait I made a mistake not lynch pool...."

This is the bert stare...

Not sure what a reverse bert stare would be.

Agreed.

He said he regretted moving the vote to Lenlo and should have just kept it on Kivam, but the deadline was already over. He basically hammered on Lenlo.
