I am so annoyed right now...this place was supposed to send me a list of attendees to our event last night as well as some other things, and they didn't send the list over with the courier I paid to pick up all of our stuff from their space. *frustrated*

Cory - thoughts on BFG's entrance?

Pretty meh

Nothing stood out tho

Gamestate is pretty meh but this is a game where we are probably better off acting blinder than we really are

With 8 alive, it takes 5 to lynch.

Yes, but we have to lynch someone. So I was thinking of starting with the meh.

I'm using my [free get cleared] card so I can do it with minimal interacting so let's not worry about me

I'm going to be dead honest though since this is a game where everyone is going to intentionally keep cards close to their chest I am not going to have an amazing grasp of people

I'm mostly concerned with people giving things away

Like this is the sort of game where as a guard, if you are getting lynched, you shouldn't fight it super hard and try to wriggle out because you'll probably say something dumb

Sounds terrible to say but everyone needs to keep in mind that even if we lynch the assassin correctly he can still shoot post-death and we'd still lose in that scenario

I've played this game before, I know there is a line. But, you do need some interaction or else the game will be a boring stalemate and pain to figure out. I'm not expecting anyone to fight a lynch hard, but just being meh and not really interacting at all is boring and and will make the game longer.

I think one thing I've learned playing these games on forums for like ~3 years now is

"never overestimate people's willingness to read things"

Least meh to meh

Seph

Hallia

Wombat

Clov

Cory

Darthe

BFG

I like this list a little more if you flip this list upside down.

I don't see how you can feel Seph is the least meh after how he handled Hallia.  Without any sort of statistics to back it up, I'm pretty sure his claim about mafia starting with a fluff post being a significant value is garbage...any more so than town, anyways.  Him coming back with the RNG thing AFTER already arguing for her being scum was sketchy to me, as well.  Open the game that way?  Whatever.  Use it on somebody you've already made a gameplay-related push on?

Wombat is just a gut feel for me.  His jumping on my wagon was probably null, but his unvote just felt off.  "For now" kind of implies that he might go back.  Given the lack of reason for his votes - or those before it - that doesn't make much sense to me.

Not sure what you're seeing about Darthe, either.

Why would BFG be least meh?

She wouldn't be - I mentioned the specific issues I had with it.  But I don't see a "lack of contribution" being the worst thing to happen this game.

Okay.

What should I get for dinner?
